Jolanta was very responsive through the entire process starting from the time we requested an estimate. Once work started, Martin and crew were so punctual that we could use their arrival to time our activities!! The crew was fantastic, prompt and thoroughly professional. We are very happy with the outcome and we would hire them for another project in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

Jolanta is a hands-on owner of this fantastic company. She stays close to the project - from the scope phase all the way through to the final sign-off. She kept in close contact and she was very responsive to changes that my wife and I requested along the way. Jolanta and her team was very patient with us. We asked for a number of changes mid-project and they responded very well. Her construction team is highly skilled and they made our basement like a work of art. We are so happy with it. It is warm, bright and very livable. The experience of working with her team on a day-to-day basis was fantastic. They became like family and we were a little sad to see them go. They did a fantastic job. The crew was professional, arrived on time, and kept the basement as clean possible. Jolanta did an excellent job letting us know what the projected entailed, what was covered in the contract, and made sure we were happy throughout the construction process.

Our experience with Excellent Construction was great from start to finish. We were given a very fair estimate, that was extremely detailed, laying out what would be covered under the contract and the items we would need to purchase. The crew arrived at 8 am and left at 5 pm, as promised. They do very nice work and kept the work space as clean as possible. They were careful not to track dirt into the other areas of our house. The whole process was very fluid because members of the crew were certified electricians and plumbers, so there was no waiting on any specialists, the crew handled it all, except for the countertop and carpet at the very end. The project was done in the exact time that we were promised. We were surprised at how fast it all was done. Jolanta was attentive to the progress of the process, and there was also a crew member who was very helpful with deciding the many details that needed attention. Jolanta and the crew were courteous and a joy to work with. We are very happy with the results! We would recommend them to family and friends, and we plan on using them for future projects.

Jolanta was very easy to work with! She helped design our basement to fulfill and match our vision. Her crew was truly amazing! They worked extremely fast and did a beautiful job with our total basement remodel. We could not be happier with how it turned out!

I chose Excellent Construction out of four (4) contractors and their estimates. I was very pleased with Jolanta since she was quick to respond, stay in contact and prompt to come back to me with a sketch and an estimate. Right after her first visit, I knew my search for a contractor to do the bathroom in my basement was over. She was knowledgeable, precise, to the point and extremely cost conscious. The guys she sent to my house to do the work were also professionals with great workmanship. They finished the work on a very timely manner (2 weeks) and did a nice clean up at the end. Because of my satisfaction with their work from the beginning, I added other projects such as finishing a closet in the bedroom adjacent to the bathroom, a storage room and some repairs in my garage for them to do, that I would have waited for otherwise!! Since Excellent Construction gave me the option to shop for the things for my bathroom, doing the whole project was so much fun. I am 100% satisfied with my finished project and I received many compliments on my new beautiful bathroom and other work. Thanks, Home Advisors!!

Had the pleasure of partnering with Jolanta & her team for our our "mini" renovation i.e. refinishing 1200 sqft basement to include full bath, laundry room (move existing laundry from mudroom on main floor) reading nook, fireplace, entertainment area, bedroom & two separate new staircases. CONSULTAITON: Upon arrival Jolanta was prepared with taking measurements & hand drawn schematic drawings for each room; discussed options & feasibility for structural modifications/changes. DEMO DAY: the team was quick, efficient and maintained a consistent level of cleanliness upon their departure EACH DAY & throughout the project scope. COMMUNICATION: was key and I felt very comfortable working with the team on layouts, structural changes & appreciated their expertise when sometimes the answer was 'no' because of structural safety or existing ducts which could not be moved. I valued their creativity to give me the final results on my new staircase, bathroom, reading nook and laundry room (our project was tough at times because existing duct work could not be eliminated or moved). They always approached me with questions to ensure I approved any changes to layouts due to unforeseen issues. ATTENTION TO DETAIL/QUALITY: Jolanta and her team consistently demonstrated attention to details throughout the project & the quality of work was brought to life in the final results. I enjoyed doing the design & communicating with the team what my vision was for certain areas of the basement & then finally seeing it come to life! COST: Extremely competitive to say the least. I always had the same team working throughout the scope of the project & the value of their craftmanship & hard work is evident in the final results & the materials used. Would I hire again and recommend? Absolutely.
