I am delighted with the work that was done. The estimate was roughly 5% higher than the other bids I received, but they included many services not mentioned in other bids. George (the sales rep) was easy to work with and very informative. The job was done in one (very long) day. The crew did a great job on my roof and cleaning up after the job was done. I highly recommend this company for roofing services.

Ken came to our house at a flexible time, discussed in detail the work that needed to be done and gave us a quote the next day via email; after comparing a few quotes, countryside was the second lowest quote, but as the other company had horrible angie's list reviews, i decided to go with countryside. ken followed up with us on roofing shingle color, and a few days later everything was installed in 1 day as quoted. excellent all around work.

Countryside Roofing was $6,000 cheaper than another company I had got off of Agnie's List..

The senior field representative that came to do the estimate was very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend these people. There were weather factors related to their punctuality.

Overall, the experience has been good. They’ve been very responsive. They just recently provided us with estimates on roofing. Pat Nolan was the person that I dealt with. When he came to give us a quote, I told him about the issues with the siding, and the next day, a technician came out to fix the work, even the siding was replaced over 5 years ago.

They did a very good job. They were pretty professional.

I think they did a good job; the only negative I had was that I was supposed to have a complete tearoff consisting of two old layers and they were supposed to have covered up all of the planting areas around the house with tarps which did not arrive because the truck that had them did not show up when the crew was ready to tear off. So they began to tear off, letting all the broken old shingles fall everywhere around the house before the tarp got there. Then they had guys go around the house and pick up every old piece. I still am finding pieces in the bushes. One of the managers came out and reprimanded them for starting before the tarps were there. He said all the right things and was very nice, so that was the only negative; it was more laughable than serious. But they did a nice overall job and I will use them again in the future.

We recently moved into our house. We called Countryside to have a look at our roof, because the home inspector told us that it looked pretty old, some areas looked improperly done, and one of the upstairs bedrooms appeared to have been leaked into at one point. They were able to come take a look a few days after we called. Countryside confirmed the inspector's suspicions, and also noticed that we were missing flashing in some spots. The estimate they gave us was right around $700 to correct the areas that were done incorrectly, install missing flashing, etc. I'm not sure if that's a good price or not, but it was something we thought that we could manage in a month or so. We told the guys it'd take us a month to get the money together. They called in a month to check up, and it ended up that we were going to have to wait for another month. So, they called a month later, and we still weren't ready. Instead of getting frustrated with us, they just asked that we call them. So, a month later, we called and they came out a few days later. They were patient with our financial issues, and handled all of the back-and-forth very professionally. They fixed the areas of the roof that were done improperly, and added the flashing. I'm not a roof expert, so can't really speak to the quality of the work, but I can say that we haven't had any leaks or anything else weird, so that's good.

It took a long time to get a price from them and so we had already gone with another person. The estimated amount was for about $540. I think that they are a fine company. It’s just that it took a little long to get the estimate from them. The overall experience was very good. They didn’t give us the quote in a timely fashion. I would recommend them. We will use their services again in the future.

Contacted five roofers in the area for estimates. Had some wind damage from July storm. All contractors responded promptly, however, Kevin Clinge of Countryside was the most knowledgeable, thorough and professional. His estimate included photos of the roof and a detailed explanation of the work and process. He was the only one who followed up within three days and helped with the roof inspection by the adjuster. His cost estimate was in the middle of the five. The crew of seven arrived promptly and completed the job in eight hours. There was some additional cost when the rotted decking was found. However, that was all explained in the estimate. The care taken to protect the property and the clean up afterwards was remarkable. I do not expect to find any nails in the yard. Kevin was here at the start of the job, several times during the day and came back for his inspection the day after. I would recommend Countryside to neighbors and friends.

They were very good. They were very professional, responsive and thorough. Their price was about the same as other estimates I received. The estimate was done free of charge. I have not gotten the work done yet. I would consider using them in the future.

Contacted several companies and all responded promptly and were very informative. I decided to go with Countryside. Countryside kept me informed every step of the way. They kept in constant contact about when they would arrive and what days each of my services would be performed. Even when we had a terible storm with pouring rain and lightening, they came out and tarped the area where I had leaking to prevent further interior damage. They cleaned up well after themselves and left no trace they were there. Due to the water damage taking place, I was getting carpenter ants in my roof from the moisture. I left a bag of ant traps and they placed inside the roof randomly to help kill the nests. No ants since. I very much appreciated the constant contact advising me of arrivals or possible delays due to weather. My past experiences have always left me wondering whether a company would show up if they were late. Previously I always had to make a call to find out about a reschedule. Never with this company. I have already referred to other households to consider them. We have had a few storms since and my leaks are repaired.

I have signed the contract, but they have not started doing the work yet. Their estimated price of $8000 was competitive, but again, it would depend on how good a job they do. Their punctuality and efficiency in giving me the quote were good. I would consider using them again in the future.

He has been on top of things and always willing to help. UPDATE: After going through working with the insurance adjusters and helping us get the answers from them we needed, he stopped responding to our requests for an estimate. I called several times to get the estimate and finally moved on after never receiving the paperwork.

Countryside and Ken McKendree, the owner we dealt with (I believe there are 3 partners that own it), were outstanding! We were so impressed that as soon as we've saved up the money, we are going to have them re-side our house as well. The initial consultation with Ken was what made us pick Countryside over the other companies we had estimates from. Countryside was not the cheapest, nor were they the most expensive - they and a few others all came in a similar prices. But we just had a very positive feeling about Ken and really felt that Countryside would do an excellent job. We were not wrong. First was selecting the shingle color and type. We had a difficult time with that, but Ken was extremely patient and helpful, bringing by sample board after sample board and giving us address after address for us to drive by. It took us quite some time, but the process was worth it because what we ended up with was not at all what we originally thought we wanted from the sample boards and yet it is exactly what we wanted. On the scheduled day, the crew arrived right on time and got immediately to work. They asked if there was any of our landscaping that we were especially concerned about, and after I pointed out a few rose bushes and rhododendrons that I was particularly concerned about being damaged, they built protective covers for them out of extra wood and then covered everything with tarp so that it wouldn't be damaged by debris as the old roof was coming off. These guys worked hard from the moment they arrived to the moment they left. My parents happened to be in town for a visit that week, and my father, who coached high school basketball for 35 years, commented after watching the crew work for a while that if his teams had worked with such synchronized teamwork, he could have won the state championship every year. They really were impressive - each guy was doing something at all times and each knew exactly what he was supposed to be doing and did it. After they were finished, you could hardly tell they had been here. After all that, we only ever found a couple nails and a few old shingle pieces in the yard. The entire experience was outstanding - we will recommend them to anyone we know who is looking for a roof. And as I said, as soon as we have the funds, we will be contacting them for new siding. You simply can't go wrong by hiring Countryside.

They were courteous and were somewhat responsive. We were a lot more comfortable going with a known and bigger company. They were very professional and they explained things.

We were very happy with them. They were respectful and quick. I was very impressed with them. The person that we talked to was respectful of us. He took our desires in consideration. They were very clean and professional. I would definitely recommend them to others. I would use them in the future if needed.

After a very responsive estimation process and an estimate that beat several competitors that I found on Angie's List, it took several months to get Countryside to show up and perform the work. The "project leader" who provided the estimate was readily available when I called asking for status/scheduling, but would always tell me that he needed to speak to the installers and would call me back. He rarely ever called back and rather waited for me to call him again asking for status. Countryside did not schedule a date with us, but rather showed up during a thunderstorm to start tearing down the parts to be replaced. For installation, they once again did not schedule a date with us but rather showed up before 7AM to begin attaching scaffolding to the house, waking my young children in the process. After doing a seemingly quality installation with a few minor issues, they showed me an issue with the gutter aprons that was missed in the estimation process, so I ended up paying for an additional install that resulted in another unscheduled teardown and install. When I reported an issue with a sharp, jagged aluminum corner covering and a three inch diameter hole they put in my deck during installation, they "fixed" the issue by covering the aluminum corner with chaulking and ignoring the hole (which I will later fix myself). Almost six months after the initial estimate, Countryside returned to finish the work on the siding replacement. In summary, Coutryside does a decent quality job when they actually show up, but they do not seem to value their customers and are very unresponsive. If you don't mind the lack of response and are ok with a very long installation timeline, you might be happy with Countryside's work. We will not be using Countryside in the future.

Job was done carefully with an excellent foreman on the siding. Hail damage in our town caused many neighbors to reroof and reside their homes. After seeing the work of other companies, we were glad we chose Countryside. Our home looks new. Our salesman, Pat Dolan, work with our insurance company and was able to point out damage that they missed and therefore was able to get us more money for the work.

Overall we liked them. They were efficient and they did the job quickly. The price could have been cheaper. When they reattached the dryer vent, the piping fell off.
