+ -1 moreI called the Carpet Guyz and George Lullo quoted and installation price for the pad and carpet based on the amount of carpet that was ordered. George said that they may have a cancellation the next day. They found out that night about the cancellation and the next morning, they picked up the pad and carpet in Elk Grove village and brought it to our house in Hawthorn Woods. Kevin and Brian were very knowledgeable about carpet installation. They removed the old metal edge to the carpet and tucked the new carpet under and fixed a tile that met the carpet with epoxy. The room has many cut outs for the fireplace, the closet, and the bar area. Kevin gave me the price that was quoted for the installation even though I think it was a little more work than they originally thought. They finished the same day.

+ -1 moreI called them on the day of the approintment after they were about an hour late and by that afternoon still had not received a call, nor had they shown up. In addition, prior to the appointment day, it took several phone calls on my behalf to actually set the appointment. It sounds like they may need additional help either in the office or in the field or both.
Description of Work: No services were performed as the company never showed up for the scheduled appointment.

Description of Work: My husband and I purchased an upscale home furnished with builder-grade carpet that we were assured would be of good quality. However, we were appalled at the quality and installation and through 2 friends, heard of Carpet Guyz. They came out the same day for a free measure and brought out samples for us to see. We purchased the carpet through them and the installation was wonderful. From someone who is EXTREMELY picky and cost-conscious, they are a great company to work with!!
