The experience went very well. The guys were very efficient and got the job done fast! The complete tear off and new roof were all in one day. Greg Hercog, one of the owners, was on site to oversee the job.

AWM had to tear off four layers of roofing on the flat roof on the den and then discovered some roofing panels that had to be replaced. They were here eight hours on Monday to finish this up. Came back on Tuesday to start on pitched roof on house. We had a slight problem since this is a city house and there isn't a lot of space between houses to get rid of old shingles. They chose to dump the old shingles between our house and the neighbor with two young children, unfortunately confining them to the house until we worked out a different solution -- going the other direction toward the neighbor without children. This delayed the work for a while until we worked out the kinks, but they still finished the main roof by the time we got some afternoon rain. A different crew came back on Wednesday morning to work on the gutters and downspouts and all was finished by noonish. The roof(s) look great and the gutters are functioning well. We got to check that out when we had a torrential rainstorm that Saturday night. Everything worked as promised and there were no leaks anywhere. Quite satisfied with their work. Greg came by to check on things and I mentioned one concern (the torrential rain was flowing off all sides of the flat roof; he said he thought we could solve that by putting another layer of roofing along the edges to funnel everything toward the gutter on the side). The crew will be by in future to take care of that.

Overall, very professional, started work on time. Completed job on schedule. Roof and gutters look great. Very competitive price.

the roof looks amazing. They used the new lifetime shingles and was able to quickly install a ridge vent on a 60 year old house. I would recommend AWM to anyone looking for a roof. I would recommend someone do a full walk around the house before the crew leaves. Some trash was left behind that needed to be picked up.

From start to finish, customer service was nothing but friendly and responsive. Those who answered our questions were obviously knowledgeable about roofing and had lots of experience. The installers worked hard while there and were considerate to not be too invasive. Once the job was completed, the clean-up was above our expectations. We were extremely pleased with the services we received.

AWM Construction crew showed up on time, as promised and completed the job in one day. Once everything was complete, they did a great job cleaning up and ensuring that no nails or trash were left behind. I was actually gone most of that day, but hardly knew they had been here! Greg came by a couple of days afterwards and took care of a few small items without hesitation. He said he wanted to be sure I was happy and loved their work. His work is under warranty for five years. That gives me additional peace of mind. Great job Greg and crew!
