Lance's Plumbing

Not good.... I came home after the work had been performed to a total mess downstairs. It took me 2 1/2 hours to clean it all up. The carpet runner in my laundry room was ruined and there was sewage still left on the floor out in the open. There was some mess under a shower, but that was understandable since it was not an easy place to get too. I ended up taking the shower unit out anyhow. After calling them about the situation, they told me that the plumber could have stayed and cleaned up the mess, but would have had to charge me for it. I didn't think that was very professional. They said they would take some money off the bill for me having to clean up the mess. I got the bill which was $260 after the $20 was taken off so the bill would have been $280 to come and clear a drain and cap off the shower pipes. After only a month I noticed that the drain was not properly working, so I called another well known local plumber and was totally shocked at the bill I got, because for them to do the same exact job was only $95 minus capping off the pipes (which were just cut and had some press on caps put on, probably only a 10 min or less job) Just for the sewer call for Lance's Plumbing was $150, with the other plumber it was only $75. Plus, I couldn't even tell that the latest plumber to do work for me had even been in the house. Just beware of the cost... I have not had to have any plumbing work done before, so I didn't know what a fair, or the going rate was.
