Mendel Plumbing and Heating

We have our annual furnace and AC maintenance done by Mendel technicians. We previously used a different service that charged double their advertised price and sent technicians who gave conflicting advice. None of those games with Mendel. Their service agreement for HVAC is very reasonably priced. The technicians are knowledgeable, efficient, thorough, and informative. We now call Mendel for any HVAC need and have for several years.

We use Mendel for all of our HVAC and plumbing needs. Cormac came to replace the toilet in a half bath. While there, we discussed an issue with the toilet in another bathroom. He discovered that the subflooring had major damage from a minor leak that was undiscovered. We ended up replacing all toilets in our house due to the age + discount for doing this all in one day. Thorough, informative, courteous, and high quality work - always from Mendel technicians.

Faucet was replaced, but the cost to value is just way too high. Won't use them again.

I always strayed from hiring Mendel Plumbing because I heard they are a bit more expensive. Well, you get what you pay for. I hired Jesse from Mendel Plumbing for a clogged tub and he came over and fixed it quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend Mendel Plumbing!!

They did a great job giving some recommendations. It was expensive but I had a major job to be done - rerouting my sump pump pipe to the other side of my house/basement, replacing the sump pump, then digging a trench outside to run a new drain pipe 60 feet out. The two man crew was very professional and did good work. Mendel also communicates well with their emails and text, even sending profiles and pictures of their crew.

Work was completed as agreed on time and within budget by pleasant efficient professional workmen. Also a warranty issue with a blower motor was quickly diagnosed and repaired free of charge!

We hired Mendel for a AC/Heating contract and found them to be fairly reliable and professional, but after working with other service providers find their pricing to be steep by comparison. Called Mendel for leaking toilet and found that toilet coller was set a bit low. Options include a $318 fix or cutting the ceiling from below, etc at $625. Went with the cheaper option and then had addl. leaks. Called Rays Plumbing, and they added a new extension collar and repaired toilet for $170.00 with reseating and everything. Use Mendel to replace sillcock Faucet on outside side of house $365.00 Mendel is a decent company, just on the high end of service providers.

Everything went well. I had a plumber and an apprentice. They provided me with an estimate of each item, so I could approve the cost before they started. They were very professional, and cleaned up each area as they completed a job. I have been happy with all of their work. I have used Mendel for years for heating, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical needs. They may cost a little more than others, but I know if I have an emergency that they will be here.

Messy and took longer than I thought it should, feel got charged for an hour we didn't need.

After calling Mendel, I was able to get a 4 hour service window on the same date. Mendel called an hour ahead to let me know when the plumber would arrive. Ron was punctual but still not a fan of a 4 hour service window. Ron wore shoe covers to protect our floors and went right to work. He diagnosed the problems with our kitchen and bathroom faucets and gave me an estimate of time and cost. He comunicated with the vendors (Moen and Kohler) to identify needed parts and had everything on hand to repair our kitchen faucet. Any leaking water was promptly cleaned up. Ron was able to have all needed parts for the Kohler bathroom faucet to be shipped directly to us at no additional cost. I would recommend Mendel and Ron to anyone.

Quick and painless. They gave me a same-day 4-8pm window. The HVAC guy showed up around 7:15 and diagnosed the problem quickly. He reviewed options from simple replacement to system upgrades. Presented as options, no high pressure sales tactics. Since we're selling the house I simply had him replace the existing motor. He had the part and was done and out the door shortly after 8. The guy was pleasant and professional. They are not cheap, but it's a "you get what you pay for" sort of thing, IMO.

We ended up getting a new faucet installed when we discovered the old one ran near the indoor vent system and may require tearing down drywall since we have a finished basement. The pipe had expanded and no longer was sealing properly. Jason pinched off the old pipeline and installed a much more accessible one. Couldn't be happier with the work or Jason.

Everything went fine they service me twice a year and they make it really easy and do a great job. I'd recommend them to anyone.

After an initial miss on a scheduled appointment, everything when well with a combination furnace and air conditioner unit being replaced. The technician was very courteous and professional as well as helped with a secondary issue with a gas fireplace that would not start.
