IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. I had them come out to do an estimate on clean up of the back yard as well as landscaping our front beds. I just got their "proposal" in email. "After extensive thought, we conclude that we cannot make your beds look professionally done. What is required is a complete gut and replace, with a budget of 6-10k just to get it ready for plants." Translation: We don't even want to spend the time to make a proper estimate, and let you decide what is and is not worth paying for our services. If you aren't even going to give an estimate when you come out at my request for an estimate, then why waste my time. I'm extraordinarily busy and taking time to meet in the middle of the work day so they can turn around and basically call my lawn so crappy that they can't help is insulting and angering. By all accounts some people are happy with their lawn care they receive, but read closely... all one star reviews on "google reviews" indicate that working with this company is horrible. The owner seems to be temperamental, rude, and disrespectful to customers. Had I done more research before hand, I would have skipped over this company.

The work was quick and thorough. Great responsiveness only there was no alert that two workers were arriving to work.

Don't know when come, they just come after sign contract. Contracts have a lot of we do not do this, we charge extra for this, we will not be responsible for this...

They were great. They were accommodating and pleasant. They left the area looking excellent once they were finished. They are an excellent company. They really care about what they do.

Three men arrived on time and immediately set to work. Did everything we asked. Clean up was flawless! Definitely recommend!!!

They left big, long ruts in my yard that my son had to fix.

Almost every month they added numerous things I did not ask for and they did not ask me if I wanted them done.

Spoke to owner about the work not progressing the way we agreed. Owner became upset that I did not agree with him so I told him his services would no longer be needed. Owner again got very upset; said he needed more time and money to complete work. Again I said no and paid remainder of contract at that time. Would not use services again nor could I recommend.

I worked with this Company for four+ years, and noticed each year there was a decrease in quality, courtesy and professionalism. The owner has an anger management problem, which is worsened when a customer says anything about a problem with its services etc.. Ron is condescending to his customers and acts like he is doing me a favor for me using and paying for his services. I believe his charges are very high- and when you ask for some yard clean up or other help, he quotes prices for his laborers at $40/hour/person and tells you the hours it will take to do the job. It is not a pleasant experience to get involved with this owner or his company.

They are very polite and professional and take care of all our our routine lawn maintenance. They also take care of our fertilization and weed control. They are very reliable and will provide extra services upon request. We have the best looking lawn in the neighborhood!

I have done business with Ron and springfield lawn barber for over 5 years. I've been more than satisfied with the promptness and quality of service from springfield lawn barber. Ron knows what his crews are capable of and is an honest businessperson. They have always been willing to accept last minute requests, even for snow removal, are amenable to customizing (let me do hedge trimming, e.g.), and are most conscientious of Leland Grove's yard waste requirements. While writing this, Cheryl called me back about a huge tree limb that fell and is blocking my driveway.. She was pleasant and courteous as always.

I would not have minded so much about the rose order, I can fix it myself later next spring, but the communication skills of the owner are something to be said for.....

I called Lawn Barber to request an estimate for the tree removal, and I also asked them to estimate cost of trimming lower branches off of a couple of other larger trees since they would be at my house. The estimate, including all debris removal, was about $500. Their estimate was for 4 to 5 man hours, but I'm pretty sure I could have finished the job myself in half that (I guess the chipping of the limbs on-site was included in the man hours?). We decided to just have them take down the dead tree for $175, which included stump grinding and a superb clean up job. They sent two men to take the tree down two days after I told them to do it. The two of them were at my house for maybe 30 minutes. They were in and out so fast I almost didn't notice them, and it took my husband almost 2 days to notice the tree was gone, it was so clean! Overall, we are satisfied with the job; it was as expected. This is the second time we have called them for a quick yard job.

They worked all day and did a nice job with the trimming.

They responded quickly and promptly, and they always do a great job. We have been using them for some time now, and we are satisfied.

I've been with them for two years. The yard looks nice when they are doneand they've always done a great job on mowing my yard. They are very reliable! They come weekly, unless you call them 24-hrs in advance.

I was very dissatisfied with the services and pricing.
