I was impressed with the service after the initial phone call. Alex arrived when he said that he would and provided an estimate. Once I decided to go with Seth Molen Roofing. Alex came back to present the contract. He went over it with me and explained the terms. He gave a projected date of service. In fact, they were there on projected date of service. It took a day and a half to complete the job. The crew put down tarps to catch the nails and debris. The used their time wisely. They cleaned up the mess. They stayed within the original estimate. I was very pleased with their work.

All went well. There was some patching that needed to be done on the new roof (rolled roof product) after the fact but was told by Seth that these shouldn't be problematic for the roof over the long term. Showed up on time, did the job, followed up, and the price was as quoted and was slightly better than other quotes received.

It took about two days, he had a crew of people come out to do the work. It took about a month for him to come out, just due to how busy he was. However he did show up on the day that we agreed on. They were careful about their work, they tore off the old roof and shingles, the dumpster was partially blocking the mailbox out by the street, and when they saw the postal service coming they would collect the mail and put it in the box. I wouldn't recommend putting a new roof on in the winter, just because it needs the heat for the shingles to seal down, they're fine now and mostly it was just unsettling. I have vinyl siding on the house, which gets brittle as it gets cold. When they ripped the roof off, throwing down the shingles would break off pieces, but Mr. Molen came to me and made sure to point out the damage and repaired it as well.

A Seth Molen representative came to my home to examine my one car garage roof and to discuss the work to be done. This included installing Tamko Heritage asphalt shingles and replacing the current roof ventilation system with a better design along with an estimate of costs and work time-line. I entered into a written contract for the work to be done on May 6, 2014. It included a 10% down payment,an additional 50% to be paid by the start date of the project with the balance paid off in 30 days. I was told that the earliest start date would be June 15 through July 15. I received a call that they could begin the work earlier and arrived at my home at 6:15 a.m. on May 29, 2014 to start the job. While protecting the surrounding property and bringing in a truck to collect old shingles, I met with Seth Molen who came to view the project and direct the crew that had assembled. At that time, since the project would be completed in the morning, I was told I could pay the entire balance upon completion of the job which is what I decided to do. Before the work commenced, drop cloths were set out around the garage to protect flowers and shrubs and to catch flying debris while removing the shingles. The crew was very competent and efficient in working together to do a professional job including impeccable clean up afterwards for which I was well pleased. The entire job took 3 1/2 hours. I think Seth Molen is a person of integrity who provides good service and quality workmanship at a reasonable price in a timely fashion.

Stuck to his estimate, got the job done quickly with a great crew and within time promised, followed up on extra work needed once discovered; only minor complaint : somewhat slow to respond to some phone calls

He came right away and gave us an estimate. We called his references who all had great things to say about him. We chose someone else only because we really liked the Landmark shingles better. If you would like Tamko shingles, I think Seth would do a great job!

Seth Molen was one of my estimates for a roof replacement.After my insurance adjustor reviewed my roof told me I was in need of a repair instead. I choose another vendor for the repair.

I purchase this home in 2005 I was told that the roof had been replace after the hail storm in 2004. In April of 2006 there was a violent storm that came through and took off part of the roof over the garage. I went ahead , patch the roof and notice that the shingles had fasten to the roof with staples. This pass year I started noticing water on my stove after a big rain. The roof was leaking around the stove vent I hired a contracted who came in and place caulk around the vent and said it would stop the leak. Two months later I found water on my stove this was the last straw I made some phone calls to some contractors. Seth came over and inspected the roof notice that some of the shingles had been damage by the wind and were not fasten down properly.I gave Seth the job to replace the roof, his bid was quite reasonable and he understood that I wanted to replace the box vents with a ridge vent across the entire ridge of the roof which would include the garage. When it cme time to replace the roof Seth call me the night before and said he would be there the next morning at 6:15 a.m.. His entire crew was here at 6:10 a.m. they went right to work they laid out tarps over my bushes that went out further in the yard, they started to take off the old roof at around 6:30a.m.. I came home around 12:00 p.m. for lunch they were just finishing cleaning and picking up the debris in the yard. I look up at my roof realize that Seth and his crew had done an excellent job the roof looks amazing. Seth place the ridge vent system in which will help the roof to last longer and provide better air flow in the attic. The ridge vent also allow the removal of those ugly box vents. Seth brought the roof up to code when he found the bathroom fan vent pipe that laying in the attic, he vented it thru the roof. If you need a roof replace call Seth Molen Construction first. I have some good advice when buying a home hired a home inspector who is train or maybe even license in roofing. But never hired a contractor who uses caulking compound to repair a roof.

The only snag in my dealings with Seth was timely communication. We discussed the issue face to face and he's taking measures to improve that aspect of his business. The crew arrived promptly on the day of the work and worked very efficiently under Seth's direction. Everyone was courteous and focused on the job at hand. Despite a minor rain delay, they still finished the work by the estimated time (mid-day) There was minimal inconvenience - again, very professional. The quality of the work is superb. In my opinion, you will not find anyone better. His subcontractor for the gutters (Rick?) and his crew were equally professional and dedicated to the task at hand. They came the very next day and took care of the gutters. The final cost was exactly what was estimated for both jobs and seems in line with other bids I received.

Seth Molen was punctual and professional and all-around very nice! His roofing estimate was comparable with several others we received. We ultimately went with another roofing company simply because of their willingness to negotiate price. We would not hesitate to hire Seth Molen Construction in the future.

I contacted this company on May 8th through Angie's List to request an estimate. I never heard back from them, so I called the next week to see if they were interested in giving me an estimate or not. Seth said that he wanted to give me an estimate and would come out in the next day or two. I still never heard anything from him so I again left a message for him on May 14th to request an estimate. I never got a return call. I understand that he is probably busy, but I would have preferred that he said he couldn't give me an estimate rather than be left hanging. This experience was dissapointing as his review are good, and I would have liked to have met with him about my roof.

I couldn't have been happier with the experience we had with Seth Molen Construction. Our roof was aged, as well as damaged by weather, and needed to be completely replaced. He was extremely willing to work with our insurance company and lender and was able to provide an estimate that separated the cost of weather damages from the rest of the roof. We scheduled for the job to start approximately four weeks out. In the middle of that time, we noticed some water damage on an interior ceiling. I called at 7:30 at night expecting to leave a message and was pleasantly surprised that he answered. We asked if he could patch the roof in that area to get us to the actual replacement in a few weeks (spring time so we didn't want to risk even two weeks of potential storms). Instead, Seth offered to move us up on the schedule so that we wouldn't have the additional costs of his patch work and arrived as promised just two days later. His guys were ready to work at 7am and stayed late to get the roof done so that the next day's rain wouldn't have a negative impact on our roof. Seth was also wonderful about explaining the project and "putting up" with the questions I was bombarding him with (I don't understand construction at all, so there was a lot of time spent that I appreciated). He was even willing to help me understand the rest of my insurance estimate, even though his company would not be performing the work. I was also impressed that when I mentioned the reference behind our phone call that he could recall their names (which I didn't tell him) and seemed genuinely pleased that they were kind enough to pass his name on. Also, we sought bids from 3 separate companies - Seth's was the lowest ($700 dollars less than the next lowest estimate), even though the estimates were nearly identical in products and services provided. I would highly recommend Seth Molen Construction to anyone needing a roof repair or complete replacement.

These guys are great! I got four estimates to have my roof re-shingled, and Seth Molen offered not only the lowest price, but offered to do the job sooner than anyone else. Seth showed me the choices of good quality shingles that matched my garage, and informed me of the items my old roof was missing, like ice shields and crickets. Also, his price for replacement decking under the shingles was the least expensive of those who gave me estimates. They showed up early in the morning and had the job done in about 24 hours. Very professional, and the roof looks great.

They did an excellent job. They arrived early, stayed late, waited out during rain. They gave updated estimate upon discovery of rotted baseboards, they did not bring in dirt when working, did attic inspection and secured permit on my behalf.
