It was on the scratch and dents and we got my husband's military discount. They weren't exceedingly helpful.? We found this stove on our own.? I told them exactly what I was looking for and they said they didn't have anything that matched that, and we went around the corner to go to the bathroom and there it was on the scratch & dent display.? If we hadn't gotten it so cheap, we would have gone elsewhere.? They delivered our stove on a Sunday.? It depends on what I need, if I use them again. If I can't find it anywhere else then yea. I don't know if I would use them again for big appliances, but for small stuff I would.

I got 3 bids from different contractors and Lowe's submitted the highest bid. In spite of this, I chose Lowe's because I believed they would provide the best project management services which was important to me since I live over 250 miles away from the home I was having renovated. The project service associates at Lowe's were very friendly but there were many issues with their attention to detail: deadlines and appointments were missed; there were errors in the product ordered; design changes were made without our approval; and all of this resulted in a 6 week appeal to correct a design mishap. Ultimately, Lowe's offered to pay for the labor ($1,700) in correcting the mishap and I agreed to pay for the materials ($200) which I did only because I needed to wrap up this project. So a simple project that should not have taken more than 2 weeks to complete took 3 months and the premium price I paid for the superior project management services I believed Lowe's would provide were for not. I would not use this Lowe's project design services again.

We purchased carpet, padding and installation from Lowes. After searching approximately ten carpet stores in the Springfield and surrounding area, we determined that the prices at Lowes were very competitive. It took approximately seven days for the carpet to arrive and installation was scheduled for five days after that. The install went very smoothly. The installers were very professional and did an excellent job. The carpet has been very durable. Overall we have been very satisfied with the purchase and process.

Trained by Lowes on how to install Choice Dek sold me on hiring this man. That was my first mistake. Buying Choice Dek from Lowes were my second and third mistakes. Lowes promised delivery of materials within two weeks of purchase. It ended up being more like a month. Once it arrived, the installer took from May to October to get the old deck torn down and the new one installed. IT WAS NOT installed properly or per the instructions recommended by Choice Dek. The deck dips in spots, creating pools of water after a storm. Moreover, the choice dek was not nailed down except at the end of the boards. Within 6 months of buying Choice Dek, the composite material began to form mold. By the following summer, I had green mold growing in certain areas of the deck. Advanced Environment Recycling Technologies (AERT), the manufacturer of Choice Dek, sent a customer service representative to my house to look at the deck. He requested that I not accompany him on the inspection. I agreed to stay in the house. At the end of the inspection, he indicated I would get his report. Within two weeks, AERT sent a letter telling me the problems were not their fault (despite the fact they have provided class action settlement on the decking). They indicated it was installed wrong. Contacting Lowes was also fruitless as they, too, stated this was not their fault. They noted that the list of installers was a "recommendation" and they have no responsibility to assure the quality of those they train. Pursuing action against the installer was fruitless as he is long gone. Though "trained by Lowes", it turns out that this man opened and closed various installation and construction companies to stay one step ahead of various small claims. I've been more than a little put out by how quickly AERT and Lowes have seized this opportunity to divest themselves of all responsibility. I'll never use this Lowes again to purchase material for a construction project.

It went fairly smooth. The salesman in Lowes was wonderful. They outsource their installers which makes things a little frustrating because Lowes turns into a middleman once you purchase your carpet. But they met my deadline, they installed all the correct carpeting and were under budget. My only complaint would be that if I had not been paying attention while the install was going on, they would have installed the wrong pad in one of the rooms. Again, that was probably due to the fact that Lowes is the middleman when it comes to the actual labor. I would use them again and you can't beat the prices.

They were very helpful. I was perfectly satisfied with the paint colors I came home with.

My wife shopped around through various local and big box stores looking for the cabinets she liked. She decided to go with some from Lowe's. Lowe's was very prompt in contacting us in setting up a contractor and contact from the contractor was also very prompt. The contractor came by a couple times to measure both before we purchased our cabinets and also before he started the installation process. Once the cabinets were received we had to wait about a week for installation, but what was another week, right? Anyway, once the process started our installer had our cabinets installed in right at 2 days time. There was some issue with a couple of the cabinets that they did not have predrilled holes for the shelving on the inside. Our contractor drilled a few holes for us so we would be able to hang our shelving in the cabinets. The installer cleaned up all debris when leaving and vacuumed each night before he left. It was a good experience and he was very professional and knowledgeable. He answered any questions we had and also offered some pre-installation advice. Good experience overall.
