The owner came out and was courteous and professional. This was in March 28th. Currently waiting for his estimate.

The company was very prompt in returning my initial phone call. The owner came to my home in short order and assessed the job with a high tech "camera/laser" device that took pictures and measurements. I was given a competitive bid quickly and we scheduled the job (which was completed on time with quality results). The company also accepted major credit cards.

Bruce the owner came and discussed what I wanted done and in the process pointed out some other possible updates. The ideas Bruce suggested were really fresh and updated our dated interior design. We took out a ceiling fan and moved a TV from a side wall and mounted it over our fireplave. They turned a junk closet into a area we are now installing a wine rack and bookcase. They got rid of our popcorn ceiling and restamped it, and it all looks terrific. The crew that works for Bruce are very professional and extremely helpful. There were many on the spot decisions I had to make, because I had so many, "oh by the way could you..." moments. The crew offered many suggestions that allowed me to make an informed decision. I will be using Kate Lesley for several other projects I do not have the skill or the time to complete. If you want it done right the first time and in a timely manner call Kate Lesley.

The work was done professionally; the results were excellent. I did not get a written estimate, but the owner gave me an hourly rate, which was reasonable, and an estimate of hours required. He was right on for the deck job, woefully off for the drywall job, as a result of which the cost was almost double what I had been led to expect.

Bruce Peterson, owner of Kate Lesley, was prompt and professional throughout the entire process. I live in Chicago and rent the house in Springfield, so most of our interaction was over the phone and through email. His employees were on time and trustworthy. Bruce and his crew were trustworthy enough to give me confidence to provide a key for the house. I would recommend Kate Lesley for major home repair, remodel, and construction jobs.

I called twice to inquire when I would receive an estimate and both times was told maybe as soon as tomorrow. If he didn't want to do the bath remodel I would respect him telling me. Very disappointed as he had a positive rating.

We wanted to use the existing kitchen cabinets, but rearrange them and create an island from one of the cabinets. We had already ordered the countertops and had them installed by this contractor as well. They look great. Dale worked quickly, as we had contracted them by the hour since it was a smaller job. Bruce Peterson was able to work us in on short notice as the contractor we had made plans with fell through. We are extremely happy with the results, would use them again and highly recommend them.

We have used Kate Leslie several times before with good results. The owner, Bruce Peterson always comes to our home personally to talk about our options and give us advice when asked for. He recommends the best place to buy the items we need and then his people show up to do the job. This was a small job, but completed just like the bigger jobs he's done for us. His employee showed up on time and worked until he was finished. He answered our questions, cleaned up and left. We are pleased with the quality of the work and the outcome. The employee who completed this work, as well as the others, have been courteous and professional. Bruce has done bigger projects for us before, such as a total bathroom gut, and remodel including drywall and painting. The finished product was beautiful and we were pleased. This project, although much smaller, received the same quality of work and skill that I know his employees will deliver.

Quality of work is outstanding. Staff is well qualified and personable. Work was completed ahead if schedule, and cleanup was better than Mom used to do. We have already made arrangements for more work come spring.

Don't let these guys get near any drywall repair or painting. They can ruin a plain cheese sandwich. Terrible!!!

They did a wonderful job. The price was reasonable. They did what they said they would do and they did a really good job. They were on time, pleasant to deal with. I had a couple of unexpected things happen and they solved them. I just thought that they were great. I would use them again.

We wanted our bathroom completely gutted and refurbished. They sent us to a wonderful place to purchase tub, sink and other fixtures. Once purchased they removed the existing bathtub, all bath walls etc. Installed new fixtures, installed an overhead light and fan which we'd never had there before, completed flooring etc. This is an excellent firm with which to work. Professional workers, quite clean in work habits, very trustworthy. Recently the firm did some exterior remodeling. They responded quickly, did professional work and again, got the job completed in the time promised. This is a company I highly recommend. I would not work with anyone else after having Kate Leslie work for me.

I will never use anyone else. The owner of the company, Bruce Peterson, was able to diagnose and fix a roof problem that three other roofers were unable to diagnose or fix. He has twice fixed problems created by other companies I had hired (the brick repair, due to the other company's failure to put in flashing and the window well replacement because a different company had not installed it correctly). The deck Kate Lesley installed is beautiful. All of the work I have had done has been performed timely and in a professional manner. While some may think that Kate Lesley's prices are a little higher than others, let me tell you that it is a lot more expensive to have something done twice (because it was not done correctly the first time) than it is to have it done right the first time.

Working with the owner of Kate Lesley, Bruce Peterson is one of the best experiences for remodeling or construction work you could have. When working with him you can definitley see the strong quality driven work ethic he has and instills in his workers. I have and always would recommend Bruce and his team for any remodeling or construction jobs, I have recommended this company to friends and they have been just as pleased with them as I have. The workers were always on time, work the whole day and would even clean up the work area before going home. Also, anytime they would run across things they would see needed fixing that I hadn't requested, they would always bring it to my attention and then repair what needed to be done. Bruce and his team always wanted their work to show perfection! They do excellent work! I had previously lived in an older home and had them completely remodel the kitchen, went from a 1940's kitchen to a much more modern and updated kitchen. Bruce always had plenty of ideas to assist me through my kitchen remodeling.The kitchen was amazing when it was completed!! I received many complitments on my kitchen. I moved and contacted Kate Lesley again for work in my new home. This time it was to have a bathroom remodeled to have a walk in shower and a sunroom completed. The bathroom turned out beautiful and I was so pleased with the walk in shower. Bruce came up with a wonderful idea for me to have a sunroom and it turned out to be absolutley perfect! Will definitely enjoy my new sunroom. I can't say enough good things about working with Kate Lesley and will always use them as my contractor. Finally, I would highly recommend Kate Lesley Inc for any remodeling or construction needs.

Communication with the owner was a breeze and he was very informative. He had an employee out to me the next morning, worked 4 hours and the job was complete. The employee cleaned up the work areas very well. I was satisfied with all of the work that was completed. I will use them again.

I have used Kate Lesley for every job I cannot do myself and I will continue to do so. Their quality is unmatched. There are no surprises. You pay only the agreed upon price, and you know exactly what you are paying for because you get an itemized bid. Most importantly they are honest and stand behind their work. I had a problem which was fixed 6 MONTHS later at no cost to me, an in a timely manner. I would recommend Kate Lesley to everyone.

We have hired Kate Lesley Inc for projects at our home three times now. I have been extremely satisfied with both the service and quality of work. We have been pleased with their willingness to answer our questions. The responsiveness/communication has been great, and the employees (Dale & Dan) are very pleasant and courteous. They kept things as clean as possible and were considerate of my plants as well when working outside. I have dealt with a lot of contractors & I am particular with who I will hire. Kate Lesley Inc continues to be the company I will choose, and trust, to work on my home.

For many years now, I have depended on Bruce to do a great variety of jobs at my old house. I have been a widow for 25 years, and have depended on him to willingly take care of whatever problem I might have. His men know how to fix everything that goes wrong, plus he and they are very friendly and accommodating. Three years ago a nighttime electric storm felled two huge trees over my driveway. Next morning he canceled his schedule of work for that day and devoted the whole day to taking down the rest of the trees, sawing the trunks into pieces that could be thrown in a dumpster. I do not know what I would do without them! He is a valued friend to me, not a business man. And the work is all done well and reasonably.

The company performed the job within a week of the signed contract. They arrived promptly, did professional work, kept dust from dry wall job on ceiling to a minimum, clean up debris.

We were pleased, they got things done in a timely manner, and placed drop cloths to avoid making a big mess. Our house was not dusty at all.
