K B LAWN SVC

I witnessed this man cut my parents very small yard. He blew in and out and did below average job. My 16 year old can do a better job and I wish we lived closer so my son could do their yard. He charged my elderly parents for "clean up" which we did not ask for and are unsure what he did. He cussed us out on the phone twice. I really feel sorry for people that use this very unprofessional man. Who curses people out for asking a question? BEWARE of KEVIN.....

Almost all the Money was paid upfront. Then the excuses came. They took a small part of the fence out and nothing since then. It's been three months. I got scammed.

Originally contacted for estimate to mow my lawn. said it would cost $60 to take care of my lawn both front and back yard since the yards were so overgrown, and I would have to pay him in cash up front and after he had finished we could talk about continuing mowing my lawn, so I paid him the $60 and he did the first mowing. He did a nice job with the mowing and edging, so I hired him to come every 10 days at the cost of $20 a visit. I asked him for a receipt but he got away from me before giving me one. I thought I probably would never see him again, oh well, He came back on the 10th day (5/20) without giving me a receipt for the $60 visit and stated my service starts 5/20. and not to worry, I would only be billed from 5/20. He then came again on 5/30, but billed me for $120, $60 again for original mowing on 5/10, and lied about the dates, stating he came 5/16, 5/23, and 5/30. There was no way he could possibly mowed my lawn on 5/16 since I was having siding put on my house and there was siding laying over both lawns and ladders all over the place. Since I had no receipt for the $60 I was forced to pay the 120, and wrote him about his cheating and stated I would no longer use his services. while I was away on 6/6 he came back and mowed my lawn again! He then came back today 6/8 stating he didn't know what I was talking about, he never asked for money up front, then remembered me giving him some money but couldn't remember how much, and he had so many jobs to do he probably mixed up the dates but now we were square. I told him he still owed me 60 bucks. He then said he would credit me for $20, since he was sure we had agreed on $30 a visit, then offered me a $40 credit at which time I shut the door on him.

We did not receive service.

Kevin and his team have always been very prompt, professional, and courteous. I have used his company for lawn mowing ($25-$30 /mow for front and back yards), gutter cleaning ($50), and most recently, fall leaf cleanup ($50). I currently subscribe to interval lawn service and Kevin called me to ask if I wanted fall cleanup because the cost would increase from the usual mowing fees. He's always been upfront with the charges and thorough in his work.
