lawn mower repair
+ -1 moreI was contacted by Mr. Greenwood and gave him two pieces of equipment to "tune up" in late December 2010. It took a great number of phone calls to Mr. Greenwood before I could arrange to have the equipment returned in early February 2011. I mistakenly let Mr. Greenwood take one additional piece of equipment to tune up when he returned the original two items. After two and a half months of phone calls Mr. Greenwood finally admitted that he had burned up the engine on my equipment and he would reimburse me for the cost of the replacement item To date he has only paid me half of the agreed upon replacement price which was very fair. I have contacted the Riverton Police Department and Mr. Greenwood is well known to them for his practice of taking power equipment for repair and never returning it. BEWARE of any repair service you might arrange to be performed by Greenwood Lawn & Landscape!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Description of Work: I cannot comment on the lawn care service but beware of the off season equipment service/repair that Ron Greenwood performs.

+ -1 moreHe is very unresponsive to phone calls and has made promises to the Springfield Police Dept to reimburse me for the missing equipment but never keeps his word. BEWARE!!!!
Description of Work: I cannot comment on the lawn service aspect of this company but beware of any small equipment repair you have them perform. Ron Greenwood Jr. does not return the equipment. I have been following up with the Sprinfield IL Police Dept. and the Riverton IL Police Dept. This individual (Ron Greenwood Jr.) is well know by the Riverton Police based on many many complaints of taking lawn equipment for repair/tune up and never returning the equipment. I do not understand how this individual can stay in business with that kind of a business model.
