Used Angies List to find him. Rob & his crew did an excellent job. They took care of disconnecting (and re-connecting) power lines & other lines to houses. Arrived on time & did not waste any time during the day. They work very well together. The cleanup was great. You wouldn't know a tree used to be there. I felt price was very reasonable & I was given a proof of insurance the night he came & gave me an estimate. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Very prompt with a callback, came out same day for an estimate. Best price provided, and was the only contractor who brought up points on references, permits, and his insurance. Job was done 2 days later and the crew was extremely professional and fast. Would absolutely recommend.

Expert Tree was very easy to deal with. Professional, great price, and very prompt. They came out and gave us a quote and then followed up a couple of times. Once we hired them for the job, they were out the next day.

I called yesterday to get a quote for the above work. Robert called me back within an hour and came out in a half hour. Robert was courteous, professional, informative and very friendly. We accepted the quote that I thought was very reasonable. Robert came out today at 9AM as promised and began work. He was very accommodating when my wife asked him to put the logs in a different place. All of Roberts crew were professional and hard working. They completed a very big job in one day. At one time the chipper truck got stuck in the mud. He had it pulled out and smoothed out the ruts. He protected my house with plywood when grinding the stumps. In summary Expert is one of the best companies I have ever worked with in my 47 years.

They had to climb the trees to trim them because they couldn't get the truck into our back yard. They raked up the yard and cleaned up the mess. They were here on time and worked quickly.

The arrived when they said they would. They completed the job neatly and completely.

Robert was lightening quick to respond to our call for service. He arrived within 30 minutes of our call and gave us estimate immediately. He and his crew began the job within several hours. By noon the following day the entire project was completed. Robert and his crew did outstanding job for us. It is truly awesome to watch his expertise at removing trees. He and his crew were punctual, professional, and friendly. Their cleanup after job completed was exceptional. We shall continue to use Expert Tree Care whenever needed.

The service provider was very prompt arriving at the appointed time. The crew consisted of the owner (Robert Throop) and three assistants. Initially, Mr. Throop had suggested that a bucket truck would be necessary to remove the tree due to its height, condition and proximity to power lines, but on the day of the service, he opted to have one of his assistants climb and cut the tree while on it. The gentleman who did the climbing was outstanding. I've worked with climbers before and he was one of the best I've seen...very safety conscious and very aware of where he was dropping the limbs. Despite the proximity of a driveway, garage and brick knee wall, he consistently dropped the branches well clear of these areas and there was not so much as a scratch on anything. Once the tree had been completely cut down, the stump was ground down below grade as I had requested. There was no wasted motion on anyone's part - every member of the crew was constantly working and, as a result, the entire job was completed in less than an hour and a half. The crew was super efficient, careful and courteous. The yard and surrounding area was completely cleaned up and when the crew left our home, it was as if the tree had never been there. I experienced absolutely no problems with this contractor and I couldn't be happier with the level of service performed for the price. It's been less than twelve hours since he completed this job and I've already recommended him to a friend! We intend to have him back to perform some additional landscaping work later in the year.

Recommended by neighbor who had tree removed by them. Arrived quickly for quote and came early for job, which was encouraging. Paid by my wife on request on arrival (big mistake). Removed tree, but left stump. Important to note that neighbor's stump was removed as part of their job for same price - less than 50 feet away. When contacted, they refused to remove stump, claiming it wasn't quoted as part of tree removal. Offered to return and finish for additional $100 dollars, which I refused. Feel like I was taken for incomplete job.
