The agent that sold us our Springfield house had retired. I found Laura on angies list. We contacted her expecting to have to interview several agents before selecting one. We were so impressed with her at our first meeting we listed the house with her. She came to the meeting very well prepared. She brought examples of houses that had recently sold that were similar to ours. She also brought examples that showed original asking price and actual sold price which helped us in setting a reasonable price for our house. She made sure that great pictures were taken and that they were on several online sites giving us good exposure. Some RE companies only list on one which limits your exposure to potential buyers. She held an open house and provided feedback on what the people ,e who Attended had to say.. She followed up with any agent showing the house to get feedback. She made several good suggestions to make our house more appealing. She walked us through the sale process every step of the way. She was very accessible and very professional. We had a contract after 42 days which we thought was excellent. We highly recommend her. She did a great job for us!

We were extremely dissatisfied with our Coldwell Banker real estate agent (Ken Lowery) at the Springfield Coldwell Banker Honig-Bell office. We have used Coldwell Banker in other cities and have always had excellent experiences. However, that was not the case with this experience. We were misinformed multiple times, mislead, and not represented well. This agent was not knowledgable about the purchasing process or contract used, which ended up causing us to lose a house and our earnest money. I would not recommend using him as an agent, as he was not looking out for our best interest or representing us as well as expected. It would be hours before a deadline before we would hear back from him concerning contract negotiations. We were dissatisfied with the all around experience.

Laura Catherwood Is amazing down to earth, awesome, hardworking realtor. She is very determined to make sure she does her best job to find the best home for her clients. She goes above and beyond to find the home her clients that they can afford and a home the area they choice. She does a all around wonderful job with staying in contact with her clients. She make sure you have all the information needed for any or all homes out there for sale. She makes sure she sets enough time for each client and makes them feel very happy and satisfied each time, Also she makes sure you know everything and set to know about buying a homes, Also every step to getting approved for a home, The best ways to improve your credit. Everything. She is a very happy realxed person who does her job for her clients and makes she she does her best job she can. She really should be nominated for the best realtor because she is just does amazing job in every way shape and form. I can't express how amazing she is, hard working, honest, clean, upfront,determined to satisfy her clients and everything. You will be glad u picked her like i am. believe me I give her 100 because she is so good at her job.

I have purchased two homes using Laura Catherwood as my agent. I am extremely impressed with her professionalism, flexibility, work ethic, knowledge,honesty, and dedication to her profession and client. I have very high expectations for customer service and Laura has met and often exceeded those. She gives realtors a good name and I'm very happy to refer her to anyone looking for a home. Although I've not used Laura to list a property I wouldn't hesitate to do so. (See update) I used Laura to list a property in early Spring of 2012. The home had an offer in 3 weeks after being a FSBO since October. She continues to impress me with her dedication to her clients. So happy to have her as my realtor. Just got a Christmas card, calendar, and update and from Laura (2012). If you want a genuine, sincere person to help you find a home or sell a home I still think she is TOP NOTCH. AMAZING!

Excellent. I contacted Ruth Ann to tell her I was moving back to IL from out of state. She was able to advise me about properties and lead me to a home that has many of the qualities I listed.

Ruth Ann was excellent! She got the homeowner to pay for a one year home warranty and helped my daughter the first time she had to use them after the sale closed. She is working with a friend of mine now to find a home in the area and she has been just as helpful. Buying or selling, I would definitely recommed her.
