Cliff Dougherty Concrete

When we first decided to do this project we called several concrete companies as well as contractors in the area and did not receive any estimates or returned calls. We called Clifford Doughterty Concrete and Cliff, the owner, was able to come within a day. We had a few questions about the removal of our old concrete porch and creating a more modern one along with a sidewalk. After we talked to him the first time we thought he was very honest and up front with what we needed and kept saying that we were the customers and he would do whatever we would like him too. We had Cliff come back a few days later after we decided what we wanted. Doughtery Concrete faxed us an estimate the next morning and said they had an opening and could start the next morning if we would like.Cliff and his crew showed up the next morning to start the demolition. Two of the guys, Shane and Joe, stayed with the project the entire time and did the majority of the work. Cliff was hands on for the project the majority of the time and was meticulous about every detail. If he was called away to another project he would still make frequent visits to make sure everything was being taken care of correctly. The project took 5 days. The temperature the week of the project was over 100 degrees, but no one complained. They were all very hard workers and very courteous. The men even worked on Saturday and July 4th to get the project finished on time. They also pulled out several evergreen bushes in front of our house and brought dirt in to fill the area back up. We believe Clifford Doughtery Concrete went above and beyond our expectations for this project. The estimate was right on the money which also makes us very happy. We are very pleased with their work and will definitely recommend they to anyone looking for concrete work. We love our new porch and sidewalk.
