Overall, I am impressed with the company in each aspect of the process. I expected hang-ups along the way, but they made the process simple and seamless. We went to the store after a recommendation from a friend. In advance, we had someone come out and measure the bedrooms. It was easy to schedule him to come and took very little time out of our day. When we got to the store, two sales people offered to help. They had our square footage and measurements in the computer system ready for us. We didn?t want to spend a lot of money, because we intend to move out of this house yet still wanted good quality carpet with a nice feel. They were respectful of our budget and helped us find options that were in budget and good quality. At no point did they try to push us toward a different price range, or try to sell us something we didn?t need. I felt they were honest and truly helpful in choosing a carpet. I was happy about the options we were shown. The carpet was softer than I expected for our price point. We took home several samples to look at in our bedrooms. Once we decided on one, we called them back to schedule installation. They scheduled about two weeks out, and worked around our vacation, which I appreciated. I was pleasantly surprised that they could complete the entire process in one day! We moved the furniture out of the bedrooms the day before the installation. The team arrived in the morning and went straight to work removing the old carpet and pads and taking it out to their vehicle. They were finished installing the new carpet by early afternoon. There was no mess left behind and the new carpet looked and felt wonderful!
Description of Work: Carpet Weaver’s sales agents helped us decide on new bedroom carpet and pad within our budget for three bedrooms. They removed old carpet and pad, installed new pad and carpet, and disposed of old carpet, pad, and materials.

I went into Carpet Weavers store when we were starting our kitchen remodel. We discussed the work that I needed ( a simple kitchen backsplash) and talked about time lines. A few weeks later they came to my house and gave me an estimate. Again, we discussed what the work would entail and when it could be done. They called me later, took my deposit information and we discussed installation dates. Due to the holidays they didn't want to do the work Christmas week. Then, they didn't want to do the work the New Years week. She was finally able to give January 7th as a start date. I was disappointed that it had been scheduled so far out, but I agreed to that date. Carpet Weavers called to re-schedule the install date one more time before someone finally showed up to do the work. The installer stayed for a couple of hours, mistakenly removed some good drywall and then left. A couple of weeks later another installer was able to finally do the work and he did a good job. He was working us in around other obligations that he had and did the best he could. When I was working with Carpet Weavers to get this done, I told them that I had two bathrooms that I had also wanted them to do for me. This made no difference to them. I was left feeling so bad about the experience and I regret using Carpet Weavers. In retrospect we should have just ordered our tile online and installed it ourselves. We could have had the job done weeks earlier.

The instilation went as planned. They did a very good job if instilation. I did stay for most of the instilation but ran a couple errands during part of the instilation. When they left I noticed personal items had been moved in the closet. I found items missing including collectable coins that were hidden and daughters money from a room they were not working in, but next to. I immediately called Carpet Weavers. They treated me like someone making up a story. They said the installers were trusted employees with years of service and blew me off. I became upste and tried to speak to the owner but was routed to the personell manager. I offerd to work with the police and asked him to come to my home and see what had happened. They refused. He finally said he would investigate and credit my account for $100 and call me back in a week. 10 days passed without a call back or credit of 100 dollars. I finally called the owner and related all to him. I did receive finally a call back. I learned I was lied to. One of the installers had only worked there a couple weeks. They gave me 100 credit. I found this to be TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will never use CARPET WEAVERS AGAIN! It would have been different had they been responsive, came out to see, called me back and made an effort to fix the situation. Very Poor. Carpet Weavers never did make it right.
Description of Work: I purchased 4 rooms of carpeting and instilation. I scheduled the instialtion and the installers showed up with the product as agreed. Prior to instilation we asked if we needed to stay there and watch for security purposes. They reported that their installers had worked for them for years. They were trusted employees. We were paying a VERY high price for the carpet and were assured it was a quality company by the sales staff.

The project took an extremely long time. They used some inexperienced installers that dragged the job on for a week. The installers made several mistakes. An example includes not getting the wood floor close enough to walls which subsequently wasn't covered by the trim. The heat duct also didn't fit after they left and I had to fix it myself. They were also going to lay over a bunch of nails and wood chips that wouldn't allow wood flooring to sit flush on sub-floor.

This is our 2nd experience with Carpet Weavers. This last time, was through use of Interior Decorator. Of all the vendors used in experience, Randy Wagner, Sales Consultant, was the only one who followed up on the work done and checked back later to make sure we were still happy with the work and to see if there was anything else that they could do for us. That's what customer service is all about and will develop customer loyalty.
