 + -1 moreTim & his crew did a great job. They showed up on time & protected our floors with tarps. They worked hard all day with bitter temps outside, and they cleaned up afterwards. Our house feels more comfortable throughout. Looking forward to seeing the changes in our power costs.
Description of Work: Insulation added to attic. Spray foam applied around skylights & to rim joists. Bathroom fan & venting replaced and back flow dampers added.

 + -1 moreI was extremely pleased with the service provided. Tim did a great job of explaining what he was going to do. He performed some initial tests by attaching an exhaust fan to our front door, and measured the air flow through the house to see how well things were sealed. He also recommended, based on his inspection, that we reroute the exhaust fan vents to the outside of the house, and cap an old chimney box that was drafting air into our attic. We are very pleased with the added comfort provided by this insulation work, and would highly recommend Tim and his crew for any insulation work you might need done at your home.
Description of Work: Installer added insulation to attic, sealed seam above basement joists to outside air, re-piped exhaust fans to outside, weatherized front and back doors. Installer also added insulation to overhangs between first and 2nd floor areas by drilling holes into bottom plywood, filling with insulation, and capping holes.

Capital Weatherization LLC offers the following services: We offer full home comfort diagnostics with thermal imaging cameras and blower doors to identify and fix any comfort issues in your home. We then prescribe and can implement the fixes, including adding cellulose or foam insulation, adding or adjusting duct-work, and sealing the air leaks in your home. After all of the work is finished we test the home again and complete any paperwork needed for you to receive any and all utility company financial incentives available.
We do not install new HVAC systems.
