I found John French and Elite Seamless Gutters from the good reviews on Angie's List and did further investigation to find more positive reviews on the Better Business site as well. I had signed a contract with a Rockford company to replace the gutters during the summer of 2015, but after signing the contract, they never turned up again. Even though there were other Rockford companies, I had a feeling Elite would do the best job and they did a fantastic job! I called John late on a Monday afternoon and spoke with his wife Sara who assured me John would get right back to me. He phoned me Wednesday evening to see about scheduling the job, I messaged him the photos I had of the gutters on my house from my phone and he said he would be sending his guys up to do my job the very next day. I couldn't believe it, but Steve and Brian were at my house in Rockford the next morning ready to go. Steve and Brian perfectly matched the off white color of my house and everything looks amazing. They replaced all the old fascia and added aluminum covering to protect the fascia from the weather. The gutters are seamless aluminum and were made just for my house. The straps that wrapped around the downspouts to secure them to the house are the same color, but also have an attractive design that goes with the vintage style of the house. I also had them install gutter covers on the new gutters. They were able to install everything in two days (one full day and finished the following morning - even in a drizzling rain!) They installed everything, yet kept the vintage features of the house that I didn't want to lose or cover up. The gutters work perfectly, the rain is flowing away from the house and not back into my basement now. I was worried about where they would place the downspouts and told them my concerns. They figured out the perfect place for the downspouts and I couldn't be happier. They took away the old gutters and downspouts and cleaned everything up when they left. Steve and Brian have been doing this for some time and their experience and expertise shows. They were very willing to listen to my concerns and found great solutions to every question I had. John French assured me that driving up to Rockford was no problem and they did not charge me extra for the trip coming and going. John and Sara have a great company and I have a lifetime guarantee on these gutters. He knows his business and has an excellent team to do the work. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I contacted Elite Seamless Gutters on Thursday; John (owner) stopped by my house on the following Monday to give me an estimate for gutters and a new concrete driveway. John was very professional, easy to talk with and enthusiastic about producing a quality product at a fair price. On Wednesday morning the gutter installers showed up and I had gutters on my house and garage by early afternoon. I was very impressed with the quality of the gutters and timeliness of the installation. The installers were friendly and professional. The following Thursday, the concrete crew started on the driveway and the final pour was completed Monday. The finished product looks fantastic. I am very impressed with John and his crew; every individual I spoke with was courteous and knowledgeable. John stopped by the house after each project to verify I was satisfied and did not accept payment until I was completely satisfied with all projects. I look forward to working with John and his crew again in the future.

We called this company for an estimate on a roof and gutters. The owner John came out personally to give us the estimate. He explained exactly what he was going to do. We felt very confident in the services he would provide. The work was completed within 2 weeks of signing the contract. We had experience with another contractor IV Construction when we had the siding installed on the home. The installation was very poor and we were not satisfied with IV Construction. IV construction did not start our job for 6 months and still a year later has not fixed the problems. Because of past experiences we were very leary of other contractors. John never asked for payment until the job was completed in full and we were satisfied. We were very happy with the services that Elite Seamless Gutters supplied. He used the best materials and best workmanship. I would recommend this company to anyone. I felt very confident with the workers at my house. I had to leave my home for a couple of hours and completely trusted his workers being here. The workers were very friendly and professional. They went above and beyond in making sure that we were happy. When they were done with the roof they went over the whole yard and made sure that every nail and garbage was picked up out of the yard. I am so happy that I found a contractor out there that is as honest as them. They did everything they said they would do. Everything on this job went perfect. This job went perfect from beginning to end.

They said they would be here the next day and they were, they were real nice, asked for my advise before they did anything. Right now they are putting in my windows, and I highly recommend. They even came back to see how things were and fixed any problems that I had. They have been great, can't say enough good things about them.

It went fantastic. They came out quoted me a price and they were out in a couple of days to do the work very professional they do an excellent job and I am over the moon with the work they did. I will will be using them again in the future. I would also recommend them to anyone who needed gutter work done.

After a wind storm, there were a few roofing shingles missing, and Elite Seamless Gutters, Inc.did some roof patching. When I called them on a Thursday, they came to do an estimate. While there they stated they could be back on the following Friday to do the work. They did a great job, cleaned up after themselves, and they made no disturbances in our lives.

It went very well. They did all the work in one week. We love all the work they did. They worked with no breaks till they got each thing done. They even worked when it was drizzling rain outside. The guys were very courteous and friendly. I would definitely have them again and I would recommend them to people I know.

John came out and took the time to explain what he would do and what was best for our house.He gave us a really good price.His crew came out a few days later and completed the job in the time they said it would take.They were very courteous and professional .They removed the old gutters and cleaned up after themselves. I could not believe what a difference these new gutters made in the appearance of our home,it looks great !! My husband and I met with John French the evening of 3/10/16. He told us he could install gutters that would make a big difference in the appearance of our home. He quoted us a very good price and we agreed. His crew of Bill and Darryl came over the next morning and by 5:00 that afternoon they were finished. I couldn't believe my eyes. Repaired loose and missing shingles on existing roof, even came out and fixed shingles that loosened during recent storm. In addition to new gutters and downspouts on our home and garage, put gutters and downspouts on our new shed. Worked with us to customize oddly shaped balcony. Finished work is beautiful.

They did everything they said they would. They were punctual and did really nice work. The crew was nice and easy to work with. The quality of gutters were good.

I called several gutter contractors in my community. One came to look at the job but I never saw the person. When I called to see when they were coming out he stated he would mail the contact, which he never did. Another contractor came and looked at the job; he told me the gutters were on a two-story home and did not come back or return my call. A third contractor told me my since home was two-stories he would not do the job. It was very depressing that I was not able to find a contractor in my area to do my gutters. Mr. French took the time and was very patient explaining what had to be done and how it had to be done to maintain the integrity of a home built in 1872. Mr. French recommended the perfect color for the 6? seamless gutters, gutter guards and 3?x4? downspouts for the entire home so they would match the roofing. Elite Seamless Gutters? crew of six came on a Monday. For the entire crew, I cannot say enough great things about them. They are very professional and quiet. You would never know they were there except you would hear drilling. No smoking, or no blasting of a radio while they were working at my home. I was always kept informed of what they were doing and why. The communication was the best I have had with a contractor, so there were no surprises regarding the job. One day when the temperature was about 90 degrees the crew let me know they were leaving due to the heat and would be back at 7:30 am the next day. Even I was worry about anyone working on a roof in the heat. So I was happy they knew to stop working due to the heat. The crew was back the next day at 7:00 am and completed the job. I am so pleased with my Seamless Gutters. I have lived in my home for 8 years and I never noticed the gutters, I believe they were built in type, so the gutters were not noticeable. I keep looking up at the roof and the Seamless Gutters look like they are built into the roof they are just perfect. I am so happy listened to Mr. French?s recommendations regarding the color and getting the gutter guards. The gutter guards were not on the low end of my budget but worth it. I now feel a great deal better knowing when it rains again the water will not be running down onto the brick foundation and into my basement. I liked the style of the windows, the work they did and it makes a big difference on my house. It makes it look like a million dollars. They showed up on time. They cleaned up well when they were done. I am very happy with them.

I have and will continue to recommend Elite Seamless Gutters to anyone and everyone and here is why... The gutters on my home were original to my house which was built in 1965 and they were in terrible condition. I am 70 year old lady and my gutters had not been cleaned in ten years. My gutters were so bad that you could hardly even see my gutters with all the trees and plants that were growing in them and in some places my gutters were rusted away completely. I live on a fixed income so I had been putting off getting new gutters for years. Then, the one end of the gutter in the front of my house fell down and I knew I had to do something. Knowing I could not afford new gutters, I called Elite Seamless Gutters to see about them cleaning my gutters and rehanging the one that fell down. John from Elite Seamless came out to my house on a Saturday to give me an estimate. I told him I knew I needed new gutters because my rotten old gutters were useless and were going to cause damage to my roof and foundation but I could not afford to replace them. Then to my amazement, John said he would work with me. I have never seen a construction crew leave a job site so clean. They even took my tree branches with them. talking about going above and beyond for the customer! I did not think that there were business people still out their that still care about people but John and the people at Elite Seamless Gutters do. The next day, John stopped by to make sure I was happy with the gutters. I told him I have never been happier with any work in my entire life. I told him it was a shame to have such beautiful gutters on such an old eyesore of a house. John told me that wasn't true and that all my house needed was a little paint. He said that the next time his guys had a few extra hours of time he would have them stop by and put a fresh coat of paint on the house. I would recommend John and Elite Seamless Gutters to anyone. The quality of the gutters they installed is second to none. The professionalism of John and the installers is unbelievable. The craftsmanship and the care that was used to stall my gutters is unheard of nowadays. I will never use anyone but Elite Seamless Gutters for anything ever again and I will shout my praise of them from the rooftops.

In one word "WOW". Meet John on Thursday at the Mendota corn fest. He sent someone to my house right there on the spot. Johns team came the very next day and took down the old gutters and replaced them with new 6 inch seamless gutters with gutter guard all in one day. He took what was an eye sore and turned it into a jewel. The outside of my house looks like it has crown molding. The attention to detain was great. On the downspouts, they installed kick outs to run the rain water away from my house, but I can easily remove them to cut the grass and put them back when I'm done. Bottom line, if you are looking for gutters, call John.

My husband and I purchased our "older, fixer upper" home in 2010. We knew we would need to replace the entire roof at some juncture, however we had no idea that there was actually 6 layers of shingle on the roof. At the time of our home purchase the 6 layers of shingle had been concealed quite well. We recently experienced storm damage and subsequently contacted our Homeowners Insurance. We had received one estimate and also had another one lined up. I phoned Elite and promptly received a call back from John's wife, Sara and we scheduled a time for John to come look at the roof. John came out within a day of our inquiry, this was on a Sunday afternoon. From the moment that my husband and I met John, it was evident that his quality workmanship and materials, his honest reputation, his word solidified in a handshake, and the complete satisfaction of his customers were the most important aspects of his business. He checked over the roof and gutters carefully and proposed a bid to us. Along with the proposal John gave his word that no matter how the job progressed the cost would not increase one dime. I would also like to add that John thought as we did from appearance that maybe the shingles were about 4 deep. His price was quoted to us based upon that assumption. My husband and John shook hands and the only money exchanged that day was the $550.00 down which secured our time frame for the start of the job. My husband and I were both a bit nervous-we were unsure that day as to the exact amount the Insurance company was going to allow for the work- all we knew was that we had been approved for a completely new roof. John was offering top of the line shingles with a lifetime guaranty and great quality 6' seamless gutters- and this was what we really wanted for our home. We needed to make sure that we had ample funds to pay for the quality materials and workmanship that we were going to be receiving. My husband and John spoke about this fact and my husband mentioned that we needed to stay within a certain amount if in fact the insurance check was less. John repeatedly assured my husband and I that he would negotiate with the Insurance company- beginning on Sunday when we signed the contract and all we needed was to provide the contract to the Insurance company and give them approval to speak with John. John gave a guarantee to my husband that we would only pay out of pocket the $550.00 plus our $1,000.00 deductible. Honestly, many times in life when a set of circumstances seems to good to be true -it usually is! NOT THE CASE AT ALL! with John French and Elite Seamless Gutters. Absolutely everything that John promised, he delivered 100%. His crew arrived early on Friday. They were a great group of guys, very nice, professional and it was evident they took great pride in their work and skill. They worked in 100 degree heat and the shingles that were 6 deep had to be removed with a circular saw. Literally, many trips were made emptying the dump truck filled with shingle. I had some wood in the backyard that I had wanted my husband to get rid of and they even allowed us to put that in the truck as well and one of the guys was kind enough to help me load some sticks and things in a bag as I had been working on cleaning up our yard with my own projects, preparing for some landscaping. The guys showed up early and worked very hard and cleaned up everything at the end of each and every day they worked on our home. Our new roof and new gutters are complete as promised and the outcome is beautiful! My husband and I are 100%+ completely excited and thrilled with EVERY aspect of our business relationship with John and his team of guys who worked on our home. I can say that we both recommend John and Elite Seamless Gutters hands down to anyone looking to have work done.
