I had a really bad shower and toilet clog so I decided to contact flo-maxx and they sent 2 professionals, Garret and Raymond to do the job but I wasn’t sure if they would be able to clear the drain, they definitely cleared it super quick and also cleaned my floor afterwards. They finally left but there was a small leak from the toilet water line and I called them and they came back again to check it and fix it, no big deal they did great! 10/10

They were very good. I think it was okay, what they were trying to do is, I have this major plumbing issue in my house, and they were able to figure it out, and they fixed it, and it's okay. They ended up doing more work than we initially estimated. You can say I have a little experience with them, they have been to the house four times I believe. It ended up being like $4000 total because they had to excavate to reach the pipe, and then get it fixed, so that took some time and money, so I will say, all in all I paid $3000-$4000, is all the money I paid to them. I always think they can do cheaper, in the same aspect I was really happy, they were careful, they cleaned when they were done, you know, it was in a reasonable way, because of course I understand they don't want to mop the floors, I thought that everything was in a good enough condition after they were done, so I was able to finish cleaning and whatever else, but it was really okay. They fixed the issue. Their responsiveness was pretty good.

They didn’t do the work. They just gave us an estimate. They were rather high. It was an estimate for unclogging some drain pipes. It was like $2-thousand. At a minimum. It could have been like $3-thousand. They were there pretty quick, but they had to call someone else to confirm the estimate price, so it seemed to me like they had to get permission for how much to charge to do the job. I did the job for about one-tenth of what they were estimating – although to be fair to them, they were going to do more than the actual job. But I didn’t need any of that other stuff they were saying that they were going to do. That’s why I gave them a “D,” because I didn’t need everything they were saying they could do at that particular time. I mean, in the future, it could be where you need to replace all of those pipes, but all I wanted was the drain cleaned. I got somebody the next day and they were finished for a lot less. Like only one-tenth of what they were trying to charge me. They actually told me to get another estimate. They said, “if you want us to do it, call us back.” And then I called somebody else and then I got it done. I called them because there was some advertising that was local, because I needed somebody right away, because it was one of my investment companies. And they said they could do it today. Matter of fact, the person I chose to do the job, that actually did the work, they said they couldn’t make it until Sunday. The first company said, “We’ll be by there today.” So that’s why I chose them to give the estimate. Because they said they could do the work today. But eventually, when they saw the job, they said, “Na, this is going to take a couple days. We won’t be here until next week to do it.” So I went back with the other company that said they’d come tomorrow, which was Sunday, and they did it, they did the work the next day.

Time will tell, however, they were here as promised. Very professional. Water is flowing again.

We used Flo- Maxx to troubleshoot to find a leak. They found that it was our ice maker water line. The service went very well that seven days later we called about replacing our sump pump in the basement that went out.

The mainline was rodded to the street, and the dishwasher now works properly, because before that the backup was flowing into the basement. Flomaxx completed the pump change, even though they desperately tried to save the prior pump from having to be taken out, I insisted that they change it because the leak had been going for over 6 months, after having the original plumber come back twice, and he had not resolved this issue. Flomaxx also discovered a leak in the toiled attached to the pump, and changed that with a toilet that I provided, and gave me a solution for another small laundry tub sink, that I was able to go get the part from Menards, and change myself.

Really well, while they did not call me when they were on their way as I was told, i have to say that the crew was very careful and very fast. They bent over backwards to help. Initially I thought it was going to be a more complicated rooting job, for which I hired them. They were supposed to flush the pipes that connected the sink drain to the grease trap. What ended up happening was that the pipes were broken. A second crew came in the very next day and excavated until they found the broken pipe and fixed it. The whole excavation was done in 6 hrs and it was not a small job. They had to cut out cement and excavate a 5 x 5 hole in the ground. Very pleased. The 1st group team lead - Kevin, was very professional. The second one was very good as well. I will definitely call them again. My impression was that their crews really knew what they were doing. they managed my expectations and kept me well informed through the process.

.After all was done, it went very well. They did tell me what may happen...(sometimes in these cases, the problem is larger than expected); however it looked like my worst fears did not materialize, i.e. broken or worn out pipes; however I knew if I had not acted when I did it would have gotten worse. I already had water coming into my basement as it was and that was warning enough for me. I am fortunate to have found Flo Maxx thanks to all of the excellent reviews. Now hopefully, the next time it rains, I will not have to bail out buckets of water...lol. Yes, I would definitely use them again, as a matter of fact I already have more work lined up for them.

we aI originally had them out due to a leak on my toilet on the 2nd floor. it was determined that the problem was the Wax ring. They determined that to prevent any future problems it would be best to double up the wax ring. This work was done and I had them take a look at my toilet in my basement. After a discussion I determined it would be best to replace the toilet. An appointment was made for the following week and on the day agreed upon they came out and completed the job. Each time they were out they were professional and ensured that I understood everything that was involved before doing the work. They were quick in getting the job done and after they ensured that they cleaned up.

It was OK. It wasn't an emergency service it was just a maintenance job. I spent about $80 or something like that. I don't have ay cautionary notes or anything. They were just fine.

This plumbing problem began January 29th 2014, about 8 p.m. I called the City on Jan 30th they sent someone out and said it appeared to be a frozen pipe or busted pipe (but not from their water break / which we could see in the street as the flow was freezing up) So I went to Angie's List found a local plumber (Flo Maxx) they responded that day. I am very please with Flo Maxx service and their professionalism and friendliness. Since my situation is a little different (still dealing with the City) I thought Flo Maxx went above and beyond the call of duty (example buying us cases of water, shoveling our sidewalk, etc.). Yes, I would use them again and Yes I would recommend their services. This was a bigger job than usual because of the below freezing temperatures the workers had to deal with...but they worked with good attitudes. Thanks!

I had a leak under my kitchen sink. Joe fixed the problem. This company was on time and very professional. They gave me a great price. I will definitely use them again.

Joe and his crew are always professional and very helpful with all my plumbing issues.. They are very detailed oriented and will take the time to show pictures of what they did to maintain or fix the problems. I like that I can rely on them to show up when I call. This is my 3rd time working with Flo Maxx and I will continue to do so for many years. They definitely have my business.

With the recent cold weather, our kitchen pipes froze causing the pipe running into the hose to split from its valve. Joe checked the problem first providing a temporary solution along with a long-term fix to the problem. At this time, we took the temporary fix of reattaching and sealing the pipe and valve together. He was done with 30 minutes but stayed an additional 15 minutes to make sure the seal was tight and that there were no leaks.valve

I called four different plumbers. The first plumber gave me a $5,500 estimate. When I described the job to Flo-Maxx they sent someone out and gave me a $2,250 estimate which I thought was great. They explained everything thoroughly to me so I would understand what they'd be doing and I thought that was good.
