when my sump pump went out during a storm, I realized the back up system also wasn't working. I called Big Wrench (Byran Henderson) and he and his assistant came out the same day, although they were very busy due to power outages and storms in our area. They said I needed one part, the rest seemed ok. They helped me find the needed part online and helped me order it. The system I had was of commercial-grade quality and had lasted 6 years. They said it was a good system. The part was not expensive, but when installed two days later, it turned out the control box wasn't working. That meant another order, and again, when the part came in, they came out right away and installed it. Not only that, they returned my call from their vacation personally to let me know they'd be out in 48 hours. What impressed me about Byran and his cousin was their courtesy, patience, that they took a photo of the part needed, that they stayed to help me order the part online, and that altho they came out three times to finish the job, they quoted a very reasonable price and said that price would be in effect until the job was complete. They only ordered what was needed. They easily could have told me I needed an entire new system or charged me more for their return trips. Very happy with them. Matter of fact and professional.

Byron & his team showed up on time and proceeded to remove the old water lines. They spent days & hours installing the new water lines (correctly) and digging a ditch for the new sump pump as well as re-piping the kitchen and bath. His team was professional and cleaned up. The village inspector came out and the plumbing passed with flying colors. This review doesn't do justice to the quality and time Big Wrench took with my home. I would highly recommend them.

The owner is an excellent plumber. He offers cost saving alternatives, he is very knowledgeable and prompt. He has always passed city and village inspections and is very courteous.

They sent someone other than their own people - sent a guy from Williams Plumbing. Didn't appreciate being handed off to a different vendor without my knowledge. The guy seems to be a bit loss with how to install this Moen faucet - hopefully all goes alright, I will report back later but will NOT give an A rating based on this. I would not recommend this provider if they farm out services like this. I've always avoided using any provider that doesn't have a local address, since I refuse to use subcontractors for home services! I called Big Wrench and was told they "sometimes use other people". I don't even know if this "plumber" is licensed = The guy has been here for 15 minutes and hasn't removed the old faucet yet. The "owner" showed up and explained that Big Wrench is a bunch of contractors that coop for the business, none of the plumbers are part of the "company". He finished up the faucet install, and left me with a crooked drain pull which may have been caused by the first guy from Williams. Since different contractors respond to calls, how did Big Wrench get such rave ratings in the past??

Byran and his crew arrived promptly and gave us estimates for various plumbing jobs that we needed including a floor drain upgrade for furnace condensation drainage. Several options were offered for clearing our drains and the most expensive ones were avoided by reaming through some tricky sewer traps. Although they needed all day for the floor drain, they left the area neat and clean.

Although they were not able to turn it off they attempted with much rigor. They did not charge us anything. They were great and I would call them back for other plumbing jobs.

So the next day I called Delta and explained the issue and they sent me a repair kit consisting of the parts that were needed to stop the leaky faucet. I fixed it myself...don't understand why the plumber didn't do it...but glad he didn't charge me for doing nothing.

My experience with them was very good. The gentleman came out 3-4 days before they actually did the work. He gave me an estimate and we were happy with him. He said that he would be back on a certain which he was. He put the unit in and we've had no problems.

Great customer service!!! He repaired my leak and he's returning to put in my new bathroom sink. This company is a keeper.
