Overall the project went very well. I would recommend Weiss! The quotes that we received from non green builders were in line with what Brandon quoted us for a green project.  So while it was expensive, it was in line or better than other quotes we received.

He has competitive prices. He is forthright. He stuck to his word. The job was done very efficiently and quickly.

We were very impressed with them. They were confident in their knowledge that they could get the job done for a fair price. We ended up going with another vendor for various other reasons, but certainly we were not left with the feeling that they were incompetent.

I would highly recommend him. He is schooled in being a contractor as well being environmentally friendly. He is a certified green professional and a graduate master builder. He has also received an Icon Award in Excellence for home additions. He is excellent, I am an older person and he was wonderful at accomodating my wants and needs.

Brandon Weiss was very patient. After getting the estimate, there was a family emergency. I had to put him off for a couple months. When I was ready to have the work done, Brandon did not keep me waiting. The work was done right away and perfectly. We are highly recommending Weiss Building and Development based on our experience with Brandon Weiss. Brandon did not come to us as a referral, we found his company on the internet. Even though we personally know two other builders, to this day we know we made the right choice in hiring Brandon. From the time we met him, he was a true professional in every way. Between us, we?ve owned thirteen houses and presently own four. We?ve worked with many contractors for various home improvement projects over the years, so we are not novices. On top of that, we are very demanding clients (a real estate broker / do-it-yourselfer and an engineer). We conducted a thorough search for a builder for this home addition project, contacting possibly ten different builders. Most builders were deterred by our detailed plans, but Brandon never once waivered. He was completely committed to completing the job to our specifications. Brandon instantly went to work once we signed a contract with him, applying for permits, arranging the survey, procuring materials. He let us know the schedule, when payments were expected, when material decisions were needed. He helped us by providing brochures and prices for doors, windows, hardware, finishes and paint colors. He was very clear about how our selections would impact the cost of the project. With breaking ground January 29th in extremely adverse weather conditions, Brandon was still able to have the project, including basement, done within seven weeks ? well within schedule. He was on the job site every single day, with a full work crew. Never once did our project sit idle. We could not be more satisfied with Weiss Building and Development and have no hesitation in recommending Brandon. Brandon Weiss is a rare commodity.

It was great working with Weiss Building & Development LLC. They were able to come out quickly when I contacted them, and gave me a free estimate in a timely manner. I decided to use them because of their professionalism, and their credentials. I wanted to do my remodel using green techniques, and they were the most qualified green builder I could find. My basement was completed before their estimated finish date. All of the workers they brought to the site were respectful, and did good work. My basement is now the place where my family gathers, and I could not be happier.
