Virgil's Plumbing Company

Virgil Plumbing replaced the flush system but water immediately leaked from the tank into the bowl, causing the tank to constantly refill. We notified the company of the issue, requesting the problem be addressed. Response was poor and it took 3 weeks before he returned. He was extremely unhappy and rude for having to return to fix his job. He replaced the flapper and left. It still leaks and he is no longer responding to us. The price was $159, lower than other plumbers in the area, but the quality, professionalism and responsiveness is by far the worst we have experienced.

Everything seemed to be done well enough, until the next day when I did a load of laundry, and the basement flooded. As it turned out, he had unplugged the sump pump/overhead sewer to plug in his router, then neglected to plug the pump back in. When I called him to express my displeasure with having to mop up a flood, he was dismissive and simply muttered that something must not have been plugged back in. Extremely unhelpful. Unfortunately, we paid in cash. Had we paid by credit card or check, we definitely would have put a stop on the payment. Definitely unprofessional work.

Went well, very professional was on time & cleaned up after he was finished.

We have been using Virgil ever since we've owned our home-- over ten years. He has answered our calls promptly and courteously EVERY TIME! His work is thorough and complete, never having to follow up or have someone else come and redo what was done. His assessments of our needs are always fair and he never leaves us to guess if he's doing unnecessary work just to squeeze us for every extra penny he can get.
