VALENTINE PLUMBING & SEWER

The appointment just happen to be on one of the coldest days of the year 2/20/15. I was waiting at home in the middle of renovations with no heat. Not to mention I was on my lunch hour to make this appointment. I decided to call Valentine's office 15mins before the scheduled appointment to verify someone was still coming. Spoke to Rob, who advised he would call the dispatcher and asked if my cell number was a good number to call back at. I advised it was and that was the last time I spoke to anyone from Valentine Plumbing. No one bothered to call me back. I waited 45mins in my car before I left to go back to work. I even delayed my review thinking perhaps I might receive a callback to explain, reschedule, anything? But nope Lesson learned. Always call the day before to confirm appointments. And have them call me when they are on their way so I'm not stuck sitting in my car burning gas.

It wasn't great. They were extremely expensive. They took forever to do the work. They were very polite, and they came on time. They decided that the toilet wasn't worth fixing, so they convinced my husband to let them put in a new toilet. I think they overcharged with the toilet. The toilet had a part broken, so they had to send it back. They were very apologetic, but the price was ridiculous. I didn't believe that the price was honest. I thought that they overcharged.

Good experience. Contractor started on time and worked several days until finished. Still need to finish the sidewalk but weather hampering that effort. Actual excavation and new pipe installation took place during a frigid snowstorm and the team still kept at it until finished. Finished on-time and slightly under the original estimate. We would use Valentine Plumbing again and recommend them to anyone needing help like this. Plan to use them for future work as it comes up!
