Very well, guys worked very hard and did a great job. They finished the job the second day and put everything back in place and it looks great.

Cary at Universal Carpets made our purchase of new carpeting a pleasure. He is very knowledgeable and promptly responded to our calls and emails. His installation crew arrived on time and did a great job while taking care not to mare the newly pained walls. Cary was also able to accommodate our request to do the install over a 2 day period at no extra charge.

Larry in Sales, was very flexible on the times for the estimate. He was great with providing us with multiple scenarios as to all carpet, carpet/laminate and carpet/laminate/vinyl tiles. Jake carpet installer is an asset to the company. Has great work ethic, was on time and was great with the kids. He also ended up fixing the stair nose leading to the carpet on the stairs.

We had a flood in our basement from a burst water pipe. We used Universal for carpet replacement and for some cracked tile. All came out beautifully. Everyone was a pleasure to work with and I recommend them highly.

The owner was the one I was dealing with and he was very nice. But it was very hard to get an appointment scheduled may be because of their staffing level. They took so much time to get the work done. But they were professional and they got it done finally. They were not bad. I didn't have any other issues. There were couple of guys who came in and they did a good job.

Although I didn't use Universal I would definitely recommend them. They were professional the whole time. It came down to Universal and another company. The difference in price and product was not a factor. I had to make a difficult choice between 2 highly recommended companies. I would definitely want to get their opinions and ideas in my future needs for flooring and would recommend them as a place to contact.

We had a meeting with Cary the owner and received the information we needed. Set up appointment for work and they showed up on time for worked to be done. Joe the installer for the Hard wood floors did a Great Job and we are very happy. Cary is easy to work with also and answered all questions.

Very good customer service. They treat you like an individual and like they want your business.

Universal Carpet was fantastic. We had a no hassle experience picking out carpet in their showroom. When installers arrived they were on time and very polite. Carpet looks wonderful. Will use again for sure!

The salesman (Larry) was professional and very helpful in choosing the right flooring for the various woods we have in the house. The installer (Joe) was phenomenal. Not only did he do an excellent job on the flooring but it was the little extras that made us extremely happy with the work.

Salesman (Larry) was extremely helpful in choosing a carpet that would compliment the new Laminate we had installed as well as work with various colors of furniture. He was able to find the best carpet for us at the best price. The installer (Jake) was very professional and made sure the job was done well and cleaned the place before they left. Jake and his partner also moved all the furniture back to where it belonged. Thanks Universal for a job well done.

Larry was our salesperson. He was very professional, friendly, helpful and patient. He responded quickly to all questions and requests, and was helpful with carpet selection. Universal was flexible with scheduling the date for installation. The two carpet installers were very professional, efficient, hard-working and friendly. It was amazing how efficiently they moved furniture out of each room, removed old carpeting, and installed the new carpeting throughout almost the entire house. The entire project was completed in 1 1/2 days. We were very pleased with the entire process and are enjoying our new carpeting. We would definitely recommend Universal Carpets.

My carpeting is only 2 years old and it was fraying at the seam. I called Universal and Jake came out and fortunately I had an extra piece of carpeting that the builder left. Jake took out a section of my carpeting where it was frayed and we found out that it was due to one of my dogs messes!! Jake removed a large piece of the carpet and put in new padding and then he seamed everything back together and stretched the carpeting also. He was a lifesaver as I did NOT want to replace the carpeting as I would have had to replace the living room and 2 bed rooms to make it look proper. Thank you all so very much....I am one happy camper!!!!!

We will be discussing plans to install carpet in several rooms/areas in our house. The estimate cost included removal and haul away of existing carpet, moving of furniture and installation of a nice quality nylon carpet. The square footage was just under 1,300 sq ft which included 15 stairs, a hallway, a loft, an office, a large master bedroom, 3 smaller bedrooms and 3 closets.

Very professional. Gave a very fair price; was open to discussing various budgets. When I called to make an appointment for install, was prompt in doing so and then received a reminder call about the install. The installers were on time and did a very professional job. We would definitely use them in the future.

The team arrived on time in the morning and was able to complete all work in one day. They cut a few remnants from the old carpet that we wanted to keep for various projects, and hauled the remaining old carpet and padding away (included in cost). They vacuumed and swept the floor after the removal and I was able to scrub a few spots on the floor that I wanted to deep clean before the new carpet came in. They did some repair/replacement of tack strips. They installed the padding and new carpet. Before the team left we looked at the rooms and made sure all looked good. I also received a follow-up call the next day to ensure I was happy with the final result.

Cary (owner) came out to my house and took the time to work with me on options and color choices. It took some time for us to make a decision and he was patient, followed-up and responsive to all of our requests. When we decided to do the job, he ordered the carpet immediately and scheduled our appointment. His team (2-person) were on time, courteous, professional and best of all, perfectionists. Our stairway is an enormous, plantation staircase that is very visible and it's the focal point when you walk into our house. They took their time to make every corner, every hallway, every closet and every stair literally perfect. The job took longer than they expected but they never complained, they just kept working until it was done that night (at 9 p.m.! a 12-hour job.) My experience with Universal from start to finish was nothing but amazing. I would use them again in a heart beat and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs a quality carpet supplier and installer. Service and quality A+!

We did our home work on purchasing carpet before we started shopping. Universal Carpet was the best value compared to the other stores that we visited. Cary was very helpful in helping us pick out the right carpet for our home. He was also flexible with us on the installation date. The installers were very professional and were experts and I might add perfectionists. The carpet looks great! I would highly recommend them.

Everyone paid attention to details and were very professional.

We had all new carpeting/padding replaced upstairs. Lots of furniture (which was heavy) needed to be moved as well. Larry (Universal's rep) was wonderful in explaining everything and reassured us that the installers would know exactly what to do and I was really impressed with Larry's knowledge, professionalism and promptness in all that he did. The installers were also great as they were timely, considerate, professional and moved all my furniture before and after they were done and really went above and beyond my expectations! Their action plan of moving all our furniture worked very well and we had our entire upstairs completed in 2 days! I would definitely use Universal again for any flooring needs as they really know their products, answer any and all questions in a timely fashion and the subcontractors they employ (Jake and Rick) are very good at what they do! Also, our carpet is beautiful and we just love it! Thanks Universal and Jake and Rick.

Universal Carpet did a fantastic job. From the bginning, they were very responsive and came out to give a quote and show me carpet samples. Their quote came in at about half the price of the other company I looked at. We then set a date and they completed all work in one day. The crew that installed the carpet was professional and hard working. They first ripped up and disposed of the old nasty wood floors in the basement as well as the carpet on the stairs and basement bedroom and replaced it with very nice new carpet throughout. They were very detailed in their work and cut no corners. I will certainly use them again!

We found our ideal carpeting in the large store display. We were even given samples to take home. The installers were prompt and professional. My wife and I were very happy with the whole experience.

They were excellent. They were punctual. Everything was great. When they reconnected the dryer, somehow initially the heating element did not work but they came right out and they were able to solve the issue.

I was very impressed with their work and responsiveness. They did a superb job, came right out to the house and went above and beyond to find the right pad. I can't say enough about how good of a job they did.
