Maintenance Pros Plus Inc.

This was my second year of using Maintenance Plus Pros. Last year there were no issues. This year, the schedule seemed to be at a whim. My grass from day 1 of this season had been left far too long and was left long between cuts. The contractor kept pushing off dates if the lawn was the slightest bit moist from weather. I do understand some of the situations, but the majority of the time this year we seemed like an afterthought on his route. My family bought the home next door and before he could move up here, we were planning on helping them out and asked Maintenance Pros Plus to cut his lawn as well as ours. He pushed off the dates again and there was such a stretch of wet weather that by the time he had to come out, he had to cut it twice. This scenario happened twice where he let the lawns get out of control and then actually complained about it to me, the customer. After the second cutting, he was in and out and I didn't routinely examine his work. However the next day I got a look at my brother's lawn and it was a butcher job. There were strips and entire sections not cut. There were piles and piles of uncollected clippings. It was absolutely the most unprofessional job I've ever seen. Unfortunately we decided to part ways with them. The final straw which prompted this review is that I just received a phone voice mail from the owner, and on the due date of the bill (Not late) calling to inform me that if he's not paid, he's going to get an attorney involved and put a lien on my house and my brothers house. The absolute nerve!
