+ -1 moreThey used the wrong freon in our air conditioning system and it wrecked it. They also sold us the wrong furnace. We paid for a two stage furnace and ended up with a single stage. Then the compressor wouldn't work and they were suppose to replace it. It was all suppose to be under warranty. I called another contractor to come look at it and he showed me they used the wrong solder and a bunch of other code violations. He uses two addresses so iI'm having problems serving him with papers. Come to find out he is not even licensed.
Description of Work: They serviced a brand new furnace and air conditioning system.

Description of Work: My furnace went out A-Plus was contacted and replaced the furnace. I was out of town my wife told him to replace it. The install price I found out later was $800 to $1000 more than estimates I received after it was installed. In addition there was a class action law suit for the unit I had replaced from the manufacturer, for faulty heat exchangers (failed on mine). The manufacturer was paying for the heat exchanger and labor to repair or credit of equal amount to purchase a new furnace. I or my wife was not informed of this. One year later there was a problem with the fan control not working. I called A-Plus to repair, he came out and said it was the control board and he would need to order one and be back the following Monday. He did not come back and would not return my calls. I had to pay another Heating company to make the repair.
