THE NORTHSHORE HANDYMAN SERVICE

TERRIBLE!! We hired Northshore Handyman Service (Lilyana Reyes, Leo Martinez and Mike Ross) last August after our basement flooded. The job was not that hard... remove bottom two feet of drywall and replace. Remove ruined cork floor and install new one... update some old electric wiring, drywall ceiling etc. The quality was TERRIBLE! So bad, that my husband took a day off work to work along side them and make sure they were actually working! Waste of money...waste of time!

I called Leo to get an estimate for some small jobs around the house. He came over with an assistant within a week and gave me a quote on 5 different jobs. All these jobs were very small, since I wanted to first try him out on smaller projects. I called him back after 3 weeks and told him I wanted to go ahead with two of the jobs. He set a date 5 days away, and showed up 5 minutes early that day. He brought someone with him, and they started work promptly, after laying out sheets on the floor around the cupboard. He had the switch plate changed within a half hour, with all the wires neatly sorted inside. Meanwhile, his associate painted the cupboard. The painting took slightly longer than Leo had estimated, but it was very neatly done. Leo charged me exactly what he had quoted. They were both very friendly and neat and used their time well. I am going to ask Leo to remodel a part of my kitchen next month.
