They never checked the rating on the thermostat and compared it to the voltage and maximum amperage of the fuse. | |I found another company who charged much less than half the money and who checked out the new thermostat before installing it.

Description of Work: Once we got it straight how they were going to apply the savings coupon... then the rest of my experience was very good. I felt a bit frustrated because I was much more informed about your deal than they were.

Description of Work: I was very pleased with the work performed by Cedrick, our service technician from Shavitz Heating and Air Conditioning. Cedrick cleaned our furnace and initiated our new humidifier. He also checked for an unusual noise coming from the furnace and located the source of the problem. He arrived exactly on time and cleaned up completely when he was finished. He was extremely tolerant of our overly friendly Labrador Retriever.

Description of Work: I needed a new central air conditoning unit. It was during the extreme heat wave we were having. They came out to measure within a few days. Because they couldn't install the unit until the following week, a service person came out to lend us a portable air conditoner for the meanwhile. It was wonderful. They installed the unit on time and called to follow up to make certain that it was running well. Everyone was very curtious and kind. In that heat, it was especially nice deally with understanding people.
