Completed work quickly and neatly.

Marc was responsive about scheduling a mutually convenient time. They showed up on time and completed the job in less than an hour.

Although they sent someone out right away, they basically went downstairs, checked the drain, said there was nothing they could do and charged us $95.00 dollars. As they were in Skokie, like we are, I would think that they would have been able to tell us that over the phone. In the end, I feel we were taken advantage of. I believe in paying people for a service, but taking a look a something for less than 5 minutes does not warrant $95.00!

It was great, they were very clean and they did the work very fast. They came out in a timely manner and they were very easy to work with. I would recommend them to anyone.

Overall very well. To rod the bathtub RB came to complete the work on the same day I called.

I needed to shut off the hot water going to my washing machine, but managed to break the valve in the process. It could still keep the water off, but would leak like crazy when on. We called R.B., saying it wasn't an emergency. They called back the same day and made an appointment to come out within a couple of days, dictated by our schedule. I thought he'd have to cut out the old valve and weld back in a new valve with some additional pipe. Instead, he was able to cannibalize parts from another similar valve to make the old one work just fine. He only charged us for the service call.

Rueben came on time, worked efficiently and billed us according to the estimate. He was priced fairly (I had another estimate) and very pleasant to work with. Now that I've had a great experience, I've got a few more things I'd like him to do.

I found this company on Angie's List. I gave them a call and told them the situation. They came out shortly and replaced the area of pipe that was bad. They were polite and professional and made quick work of the job. We were happy.

We called them for what we thought would be just a sewer clearing job. We have a large elm tree very near our sewer, and its roots need to be reamed out of our sewer at least once a year. The crew reached a place about halfway to the street where the rooter could only make a small hole. Ruben then had another crew bring the camera (like what a doctor uses for colonoscopy, but bigger). He showed us where the pipes had become misaligned and recommended that we dig it up and put in a new pipe at that point. I was worried that this would cost twice as much as it actually did. He came the next morning and did the job in half a day. However, the next day we discovered the pipes were still blocked. When we called him to report this, he sent a crew right away. They found some more roots right where our sewer enters the main line, which they cleared. Things have worked fine since that. Overall, we are satisfied with the job. Ruben himself is very responsive and attentive. The crew he sent without him was less good, with one worker seeming totally lost and incompetent. The cost was lower than we had heard from friends for similar work, and we are satisfied with the end result.

Ruben was on time every time, responsive to phone communication, showed up to check the job and followed through to insure price quoted was billed correctly. His plumber was polite and cleaned up after himself. What more could I ask for? Get a quote from him.

I called Ruben on an afternoon and he came promptly the next morning to give me an estimate ($135 plus parts). I knew from the others I'd talked with that this was a fair price. He did the work on the spot, and he didn't charge me for the drain-pull repair. He was efficient, knowledgeable, friendly, cleaned up, and interesting to talk with as well!

I found R.B. Plumbing on Angie's List. We are new in town and needed a plumber in an emergency situation. They were able to send someone out within an hour. The location of the burst pipe was hard to pinpoint, so he had to cut 5 holes in the ceiling before finding it. It was a messy job since it is plaster, but he did a great job cleaning up after the repair. I think he also discounted the labor on the smaller jobs.

On time for bid appointment. He handled all issues with the city and with underground cables and pipes. Rueben had to excavate to seven feet below grade. Valve was bad as well as leaking. He worked with the city to get the right parts and did complete installation at no additional charge. I could not have asked for or expected better service. Rueben was professional in every way. He did a first class job in spite of all of the complications with the job and the city and was finished in less than one day. I could not give any one a better review. Highly recommended!

Excellent. Very responsive. I called in the morning and they were there inside of 2 hours, finished and gone an hour later. Reasonably clean. I asked if the basement drains needed cleaning and they claimed they weren't good answer.

I was home while the work was done. The crew always worked hard and effectively. Ruben and Sergio were very helpful. They were open, and explained situations and alternatives. I personally believe no other plumbing contractors would have done a better job for the price without compromising quality. They made a bad situation as good as it could be.

VERY POLITE, VERY PROFESSIONAL. RUBIN CAREFULLY EXPLAINED OUR PROBLEM AND SUGGESTED ALTERNATIVES. HE GAVE US AN ESTIMATE FOR FUTURE WORK TO ADD AN OUTDOOR CLEAN OUT ACCESS PIPE AND WE WILL LIKELY HIRE HIM AGAIN.

WE CALLED WITH A DRAIN EMERGENCY ON A MONDAY MORNING. MR. BORJAS (THE OWNER) TOLD US HE WOULD COME BY IMMEDIATELY AFTER HIS CURRENT JOB, AND HE DID. HE AND HIS ASSISTANT USED SOME SORT OF HYDRAULIC EQUIPMENT TO QUICKLY CLEAR THE CLOG. HE WAS VERY POLITE, PROFESSIONAL AND ABOVE-BOARD. I WOULD DEFINITELY CALL HIM AGAIN.
