I called and they came out to the building the next day. Gave me a quick estimate and got to work immediately. The job was very quick but also expensive. They have great integrity and I have hired them for another project.

RB answered the phone when I called and tried to explain what I should try before having them come out to replace the flange. We made an appointment for them to come look, but they weren't available until five days later. Since we didn't want to be without this toilet for that long, I ended up finding another company that could come out the following day. When I called RB to cancel, he answered and thanked me for calling.

Tim came out and provided an estimate within a hour of me calling RB Plumbing for an estimate. After receiving another quote which was more money for less work, I scheduled the work to be completed. Tim was able to come back out within 2 days of arranging for the work to be completed. He arrived on time and completed the work as agreed. He was professional. I'm very pleased with the experience and will be using RB Plumbing in the future for all my plumbing needs.

I think they do good work. They are very courteous. They were able to work around my schedule. After I called them they came out promptly. I will use them again.

I called Ruben on Monday to ask about sewer rodding. We were having some minor problems, so he offered to come the following day, but we set up the appointment for Thursday morning based on my schedule. He arrived exactly on time. He came inside to examine and test our battery-backup sump pump. The unit was not working, so Ruben advised us on where to buy another unit. He told us it's a simple installation and that we wouldn't need to pay a plumber to do it. He then headed outside to rod our sewer line, which proceeded without incident. Ruben showed us some of the roots that were cut from our sewer line. He advised us to have this performed again in about 2 years. He let me know that he needed to leave and go on to another job, and he would leave his assistant to finish up. The assistant cleaned up everything and brought me the invoice. He accepted my Angie's List coupon ($20 off) willingly, and left after being paid by check. The work was complete and they were gone in less than 45 minutes.

We had almost no hot water pressure in the bathroom, and we had a leaky sink in the laundry room that previous plumbers couldn't seem to fix. We called Ruben who came out to give us an estimate within a day or two. We hired him, and in a day or two he came out with a colleague and fixed all of our plumbing woes. He was very, very thorough, prompt, neat and courteous.

I called for an appointment at 8:30 this morning and they were here by 9:30. It only took a few moments to open the drain and he was on his way. My only complaint was that he didn't remove his shoes and by the time I realized it, he had tracked shoe prints up the stairs. Overall though, a good experience.

They were just wonderful. The workers were very good; they were thorough. They helped clean up, as well.

The owner of the company responded to my e-mail inquiry within an hour or so, and came to give us an estimate within a few days(MUCH lower than we were expecting). We were thrilled when he laid out three options for the repair, depending on whether the 1st attempt to correct the water pressure was able to do the trick-and all of them were less expensive than we were expecting after having been told by a handyman that we needed to replace our old pipes to get any better pressure. The owner and the plumber who actually did the repair both came out on the day the repair was scheduled. Both were very friendly, professional, and competent at every step. When the least expensive and time consuming option worked like a charm, we asked the plumber if he wouldn't mind looking at a few other things around the house, which he did at no extra charge. The shower works better than it has since we moved in two years ago! We would recommend them to anyone looking for a good responsive plumber with flexible solutions.

We discovered a burst in a frozen water pipe in the basement that was leaking at 8am on a really cold morning. I immediately called Angies List to find a plumber in the area and called Ruben at RB Plumbing & Sewer. He came over right away and fixed the pipe and also cut a frozen pipe leading away from our sump pump in order to let that drain. I was very happy with the work and the price and would definitely call them again for any plumbing needs that come up.

RB Plumbing came to my home to clean out a clogged sink. Tim was the RB Plumbing representaive that helped me. Tim also helped fixed a drippy faucet. Tim was very responvise and sweet. Tim went above and beyond on his service. I will be calling him back or this company in a couple weeks for another job.

We were out of town and the staff found it and called; they came out on Christmas Eve and repaired the problem so that when we got home there was not water all over the house.

Turns out that another company had broken a pipe and this was causing the clog in our system. He gave me a quote to repair the pump, came back the next day and did the job the way it should have been done in the beginning.

We have used RB twice and the experience has been similar both times. Reuben is very prompt and responsive on the phone. He is able to schedule the work in a timely manner. His crews (or individuals, depending on the job) show up on time. The quality of the work depends on who, exactly it is that shows up. On this job, it appeared that the work was done well including clean up, but later in the day we noticed that water was seeping up through the grout between tiles in the bathroom floor. We mopped it up and in a few hours the floor was damp again. We knew there had to be a small leak somewhere, but couldn't locate it. We called Reuben, explained that we had the job done because we were having a dinner party during the holidays and wanted the bathroom to be working well. Now, unless he could send someone right away, we would have to have a wet bathroom floor for the party. He kindly and patiently explained that it was a holiday weekend and he couldn't send anyone until Monday. So we had a wet floor (embarrassing) for our big party. The guy who came on the Monday after found a small leak in the bit of old supply line that the previous guy had left in place (below the tile line). He replaced it professionally, promptly,and without charge. We would gladly give Reuben an A overall if he had better quality control of his entire workforce.

I have had a toilet that has had problems that several different plumbers, at great expense to me, have been unable to fix, even after calling them back repeatedly. The toilet problem was not severe but when we had a leak in our sump pump pipe also, we felt this was an opportunity to try a new plumbing service. I called several companies and I did not want to pay a $100 to $150 fee as a minimum service call just to appear on my doorstep. Especially because a couple of other plumbers have been unable to solve the toilet problem. RB plumbing said they would come out and quote the job on the spot and if I wanted the work done, they would do it. If I didn't want them to do it, there was no charge. What a beautiful thing! I feel this is something that a quality contractor can only afford to do if they perform good service! Needless to say, the toilet had been fitted with the wrong flapper. Only RB Plumbing was able to solve problem and fixed the plumbing pipe as well. I have since had them back to repair a leak in the kitchen faucet and paid $75 (which is their minimum service fee) to put in a new gasket and some "goo" to seal the leak. Very happy with the service and can't speak highly enough of the young man who came out both times.

I woke up this morning with a flood in my basement bathroom. I grabbed my Angie's magazine and found RB Plumbing. I called at 7:15am and they had a worker to my house at 8:45am - very quick. Discovered it was the main drain and quickly rodded out the drain. Meanwhile I shop vacced up my basement. He then recommended a new wax ring on the toilet since the water initially seeped in from there and ruined the seal. The whole job was done by 10:30am and at a reasonable price. The worker/plumber was really polite and took off his boots repeatedly back and forth from the outside where it was sleeting! His English was not great, but we made due and it worked out fine! LOVE YOU - RB Plumbing!

The pipe was indeed broken; RB secured the permits, dug a 10 foot trench, replaced the pipe, replaced the dirt and repaved the street where they had to dig. The work went ahead on time and finished on schedule. It was an expensive project, but I feel that Ruben and his crew gave me a good price for the amount of work they had to do. They also worked very hard all day long (with a short break for lunch). The project was finished in two days. I would definitely used these guys again. In fact, during the week previous, Tim (of RB) fixed a slow-running hot water tap such that it works better than it ever has. Ever.

RB told me on the phone that I probably just needed a flange extension. They came out, put it in, charged me $165 and were done in less then an hour. They were 2 hours later then they said but they did call and let me know that. They were very professional. I would use them again.

Ruben answered my call and offered to come the next day, a pleasant surprise. He arrived precisely on time and listened carefully to my explanation of the problem. He tested carefully to find the precise location of the leak, and explained that he would need to cut a hole in our kitchen ceiling to get to the source. He called for assistance and was joined by Ricardo. He also called ahead to a plumbing parts store for a special tool he needed, picked up the tool and returned promptly. He carefully covered my stove and floor to avoid any damage from debris falling out of the hole he was cutting. He replaced a fitting that was not properly attached and was the cause of the leak, and he and Ricardo did an excellent job of cleaning up afterward. He worked quickly and was done with the entire job in less than an hour. Ruben suggested that I allow the ceiling to dry out for several days, then to call a contractor to repair the ceiling. When I asked for the name of someone he recommended, he gave me a name and even looked up the phone number for me. He gave me a 90 day guarantee for his work, and asked me to please call him if I had any questions or problems. When the time came to pay him, I proffered his Angie's List "10% off for first-time customers" discount coupon, and he was delighted that I had found his company through Angie's List, and seems to greatly appreciate the value of information about his company being shared in this fashion. Note: Ruben is fluent in both Spanish and English. He was extremely polite and respectful, friendly and professional. I will definitely call him again for any plumbing problem.

Ruben showed up on time to give his estimate. He was very thorough in assessing how the new pipes should be run, and spent a significant amount of time with me, answering questions as he went. His bid was slightly higher than another I'd received, but he was great about getting the work done quickly, as promised. He started the job on the date I requested--which gave him very little notice-- even when a huge rainstorm gave him the opportunity to take on a lot of other time-sensitive jobs. Very professional, easy to work with. His crew did excellent work.
