I contacted RB Plumbing for a proposal. They were at the house to review the work the next day, and I received the quote that same day via email. The quote was very competitive, and we arranged a time for the work. The crew arrived on time, and completed the work in one day, as planned. The work was done in a neat and clean manner, and they were very efficient. The overall experience with the company from start to finish was great! Rubin and his crew are honest, responsive, and professional. I would certainly recommend them.

Amazing! We noticed a backup from our toilets/faucets into our downstairs sewer drain at 11AM on Memorial Day. Called R.B. Plumbing. They said they'd be here within an hour -- they were. They cleaned out our clog and we were back up and running (!) within another hour -- they had cleaned up and left by 1PM. They're going to search for a discontinued size of cleanout plug for us. And they didn't even charge extra for coming out on a holiday!

They replaced the valve and flapper on my toilet. The toilet was a very compact Toto, and there were problems with getting the new universal flapper to work. They came back multiple times at no charge to try different models of flappers and to make adjustments. Their commitment to satisfying customers is very admirable. By the end, the toilet was working properly again.

They are very good. He knows what he is doing, and he gets right to the problem.

I bought a foreclosure and needed a few (HA!) plumbing items fixed. As they kept working, they discovered more and more terrible do-it-yourself plumbing solutions that had left the house's plumbing in disrepair, which were not evident during the inspection. They were very professional and made sure to (1) show me what was wrong, and (2) explain my options for fixing each problem. They answered any and all questions were very upfront and honest the whole time. My pipes are working great with no leaks and good water pressure, and I have a quality sewage ejector pump to replace the one Home Depot one the last guy put in. My one complaint is that after the initial consultation, they weren't responsive via email. However, it seems like they are really busy; my advice is to just call them and they will get back to you real quick.

RB came out the same day we called to fix a leak in our kitchen. We thought it was coming from the washer hook up but it turned out to be the supply to the refrigerator, which was visibly dripping. The two plumbers, Tim and John, were on time, courteous and mindful of protecting the floor as they worked our stacked washer & dryer out of a very tight closet to inspect for the leaks - not an easy task. They were very thorough in their assessment and properly tightened all the washer and fridge connections. We are very happy with the RB's level of service and will use them again.

Tim inspected the job, and we agreed to price. Part of the deal is we would buy the retro style claw foot tub faucet and Tim would install. Team showed up as planned, removed old faucet, installed new pipe in wall, installed the new faucet perfectly well located on wall. Also removed the old leaky water shut-off in basement and replaced. Nice work.

This company was quick to respond to my Saturday email request for a kitchen faucet installation. They called me on Sunday and I had the faucet installed the very next day, Monday, which I very much appreciated. They did a very nice job, they were neat and cleaned up after the job was finished, answered additional questions and I would use them again.

FANTASTIC! After working with another big-name plumber in the area, who took over 6 weeks just to tell us that they were having a hard time identifying the faucet in question, we called Reuben. He was great- came by fast after the initial call, took about a week to figure out what the faucet was (it had no markings at all and was clearly high-end/custom), assisted me in contacting the manufacturer for the FREE parts and sent his guy out in 48 hours after I received them. The whole install piece took less than 20 minutes and now my kitchen faucet is back in action! I finally found my plumber!

I never used them before yet they gave me a priority appointment first thing in the morning. They would have come that night but I told them it was ok to wait. The plumbers were so polite and considerate. They exceeded my expectations. They even cleaned up the soggy newspapers I had put down to soak up the liquid, swept the floor and took everything to the trash. Their price was about the going rate for rodding but I got $20 off for finding them on Angies List. I also got a 90 day guarantee. Would call them again in a heartbeat.

They were prompt in very bad weather, showed up with all the required parts in hand after I had talked to owner on the phone. They did a great job very quickly and did not leave a mess. Both of the men were very courteous.

I called to make appointment and they were able to come the next day. Two workers showed up on time, got the job done and the sink is working fine now. The do guarantee the work for 90 days. Their price was fair and they told me in advance how much it would be at my initial call.

They suggested returning to look at the line with a camera because it had been such a short time since the line had been cleaned out. An appointment was scheduled for Christmas Eve. They just left and the evidence was pretty clear that additional work needs to be done. Ruben ran the camera from the city line to our house showing us the problem. The problem is that the access to the 6" pipe only allows a 3" blade so it misses the roots. They will be back to install a 6" clean out and then rod the line from the street to the house. He explained everything clearly, drew pictures, etc. The cost of the camera ($295) is credited to the cost of the work.

We noticed the tile in our bathroom was changing colors near the toilet, and suspected a leak. RB plumbing was able to come out within 24 hours (I told them it was not an emergency), identify the problem, and fix it for a fair price. While Ricardo and Johan were repairing the toilet seal, I mentioned that I also had a suspected gas leak in the basement. They rearranged their schedule for the day and spent an additional couple hours identifying and repairing the leak. Great professionalism throughout, and I would highly recommend them for any plumbing, sewage or gas leak issues. Total cost was more than reasonable given the time spent and the work performed.

On a Friday morning, we had water backing up into the basement due to some kind of blockage or roots. I couldn't get a hold of my regular company and after waiting for a call back for a few hours I realized that I'd better find someone else so we didn't have to spend the weekend without being able to bathe, flush or do laundry. RB has great reviews on Angie's List, so I gave them a call and they were able to schedule an appointment about 90 minutes after I called. The guys arrived within the specified time frame and got to work. They ran a 6" blade out to the street, then back towards the house. Then they switched to a 4" blade and ran it under the house, then switched to 1.5" blade and ran it under the house all the way to the stack. The blockage was under the house somewhere and it cleared as soon as they got through it. We have this problem once a year and I have been scheduling preventative rodding, but I think this is the first time that a company has run the 3 different sized blades to clear out the whole line. The guys were nice and professional. The total was $265 after using the Angie's List coupon.

Great! Service provider was able to come the same day, was on time, and cleared the disposal quickly. I really appreciated the same day service. Provider knew my house (which I had just purchased) from working with previous owners and let me know about work they had done on the house, so that I could schedule proper maintenance in the future.

Overall the service was great, and I would use them again. The final result of a cleared bathtub drain was what I got, and I'm happy with the work. There seemed to be a little confusion with the start time, the appointment was for 8:30am, and I called around 8:45am when they hadn't shown up or called. The plumber arrived around 9:10. Also, I paid $159 to clear the drain which seems a little high, but I have to confess I did not shop around for the best deal, I went with the first company who got back to me.

I've hired RB several times before, always quite happily. I will hire them again in the future, but I will be more careful because of this latest experience. I was waiting to review their work until it rained heavily enough for me to make sure the new system worked fine but it hasn't rained hard enough since they installed the new pump, and at this point it isn't likely to until the spring. The work was simple: install a new 1/2 HP sump pump and arrange the old 1/3 HP pump in such a way that it now serves as a secondary or backup pump. This involved rearranging the plumbing, enlarging the pipes, and cutting a new hole in the side of the house. In addition, I asked Tim to arrange for a larger discharge pipe outside so that the size of the pipe would not hinder the flow of the water. As near as I can tell without a heavy storm, everything was done perfectly. The plumbing/piping work seems fine; it represents a "cleaner" connection and used the larger pipes I requested. I was a little miffed that they started to make a larger hole in the inside of the basement wall and then abandoned it for another one (leaving broken plaster and lath behind and no attempt to cover the broken wall or clean up). What really annoyed me, though, was the mess they left outside the house. I understand a bit of work was required outside the house but I do not know of a single reason why they couldn't have picked up after themselves. Instead, when I got home, I found pieces of discarded PVC, pieces of plastic strapping, and other discarded items littering the side of my house, next to my neighbors. It took me no more than ten minutes to clean up the mess and dispose of everything, but I never should have had to do it at all. As I said at the top, I've hired RB several times previously and have always been very happy with the quality of their work. This time, I went with them, despite a significantly lower quote from another highly rated firm. They accommodated me by dropping their price a bit, but the mess they made--inside and out--makes me wary. I like Tim and Ruben personally and sincerely believe that they do great work, but the price and the mess didn't impress me favorably.

Plumber arrived a little early (within 2 hours of my call). He worked hard to apply the simpler solution and was successful within 30 minutes (alternative would have been to remove the toilet and rod the whole drain). He was pleasant and professional.

I recently bought a condo in 'as-is' condition and knew there were a few items that I wanted to fix/address. Tim from RB plumbing showed up on time and was attentive to my list of items to address. Tim quickly went to work on the items on my list. He thoroughly explained what he would do to diagnose/fix the root causes of the leaks. There was a very small gas leak in the utility closet which he found with the gas detector. A union joint of the supply line to the tankless hot water heater needed to be tightened just a bit. Unfortunately for Tim, the joint was in an out-of-the-way place that was hard to reach. But he kept at it until he was able to tighten it enough to stop the leak. The toilet was wobbly, and it looked like it would just need to be tightened to the floor a bit, but that wasn't the case. Tim ended up taking the toilet off, discovering that the flange was not properly anchored to the floor. Once he was able to properly secure it, he replaced the wax ring and re-seated the toilet. He also replaced the washers connecting the bowl and the tank as they were dripping, too. The under-sink valve leaks were a quick fix as the packing nut just needed to be tightened a bit. Overall, I'm very happy with the work done by RB plumbing. I will call them again in the future for my plumbing needs.

This is combination rating. A review like this is hard to write; this is the best I can do. I would have given F rating for never responding to two Angie's List messages. I would have given A rating for responding same day to email sent to address listed on web site. The combination is a C rating. Clearly this Provider can answer quickly, they just need to start monitoring and replying to Angie's List messages.

I was very happy with this service provider and will call them again with any plumbing issues i have in the future. I went to their website and completed online form for service request and time needed. I received a call from Ruben first thing the next morning and the plumber Tim was at my house that afternoon. The job was completed within an hour and includes a 90 day warranty. I used a 10% first time customer coupon from Angie's List and saved $24.

They were very good. Their price was very good. They were very knowledgeable. They are a family business that has been in practice for a while. They were wonderful. They told us what we needed and didn't need. They didn't overcharge us. They recommended bringing things up to code but not until we are ready to remodel the bathroom in the basement. We appreciated that and they still fixed the problem that we had for a really reasonable price. We would highly recommend them in the future and we would use them again. They were very punctual and very attentive.
