They do a great job of taking care of my neighbor's yard. When I saw the crew, I asked them for a quotation for spring clean and weekly service. I received the quotation right away, but when I called to start service multiple times the following week, the week after, no one ever got back to me. They could have at least called me and said they're too busy to take on my job.

Everything from the quote process to having the pavers installed went flawless. R&G was able to work with our budget and even took on a few extra landscapping jobs such as trimming and moving some existing plants without charge. The crew is very hard working and the work had excellent results. Our curb appeal has increased dramatically. Sal listened to what we wanted done, made his own suggestions and really collaborated well to have a successful outcome. Our condo association would definately hire R&G again!

I was extremely pleased with the quality of Raul's team's work. In a day, they did work it would have taken me weeks to complete. I don't have a good sense of names of plants I like, but Raul picked out lovely perennials that should be hearty and colorful. I did have to follow-up a couple of times to get Raul's team to come out, but once they did, it was nonstop work. I would definitely have them come back in the future.

I engaged this provider to do a Spring Cleaning back in April and the actual service was fine. Subsequently, I received an invoice for the Spring Cleaning and in addition to that charge the invoice included charges for five weeks of weekly service, which I never ordered and was never provided. I mow my own lawn so they are basically charging for services that have not been provided. I understand that this could be a clerical error, but I've now left three different voicemails to rectify the situation and have a new invoice issued, however, I have not received a call back. Terrible customer service.

A few weeks ago, Raul and one of his men came out to work on our yard. We have a small front and backyard and he gave an estimate of $600 for putting in new sod in a section of the front yard, to put seed down in the backyard and in the city owned front portion and to get rid of the weeds in front and back. Raul was very nice and he and his guy seemed to be doing a very good job. He said he was almost done so I went in and wrote him a check for $600. I went out in the front and he said he was done and I gave him the check. He then said he had to come back to do the weeds as he couldn't do that and seed at the same time. As he was on Angie's list and had good reviews, I didn't ask for the check back. When I went to water the back yard, I noticed that there were no seeds. I called Raul back multiple times re the work he failed to do (seeds and weed spray) and left messages and he never called back and has not returned. I really couldn't believe it as he was such a nice guy.

They do a terrific job. Their cost is reasonable.

I called many (more than 5) times in two weeks. I was always lead to voice mail. I left message/my phone number every time, but never received a call back.

Initial phone message got me a return call. Conversation got a written estimate - so far so good. 1 more phone call got me a "we'll be there Monday or Tuesday" 3 weeks ago. Silence since. Poor.

No action was taken based on a lack of estimate.

They did a fantastic job! My house is completely transformed, it looks so much better! I felt like it was a pretty big job, and they gave me a really good price. I had called a bunch of landscapers, and Raul was the first to return my call (that same day, actually), and was able to set up a time to come give me an estimate right away. He showed up right on time! He had some nice ideas and was very knowledgeable. He also made an effort to stay within my budget, which I greatly appreciated. I didn't really give him much direction (I don't know anything about gardening or landscaping), all I said was that I wanted it to be low-maintenance and look nice. I think the end result is beautiful. It was easy to set up a day to have the work done. Raul actually replies to emails -- I have never worked with a landscaper who consistently replied to emails before. It did take him few days to reply normally, but the fact that he replies at all is wonderful. I could have called if I needed anything answered immediately, but that was never necessary. I prefer email. My yard was a mess, lots of debris to remove, plus all the patchy grass and weeds that were growing everywhere. The backyard was even worse. They worked really hard! They installed new sod in my front and back yards, after removing all the old stuff and adding all new topsoil (and leveling, etc.. lots of steps from beginning to end). They also planted a few bushes and plants in the front. They took great care to make everything look nice, removing weeds even from areas that weren't included in the quote (like from the side of the house and in my patio area). Everything was beautiful when they were done! It was all clean and perfect. Raul made sure I was happy before he left, and also told me how to take care of the new sod. So far so good, it's been 2 weeks now and it's all still alive. It was a very positive experience, I'm glad I chose them for my landscaping.

I placed my order at a time when other landscapers were telling me that they were not focused on spring cleanup any longer. Raul, came out gave me a quote in 24 hours and had his crew out to do the work in 3 days. The crew were on time, efficient and did a quality job of getting the lawn ready for the growing season. They cleaned up after themselves. I'm writing this review about a month after their visit and my lawn is lush and green. My flowers are all coming up and my whole yard looks just great.

Ultimately, it was a disappointing experience. The gentleman quickly responded to my call, set up an appointment, and showed up on schedule to discuss the scope and costs of the job. However, he hasn't returned any of my calls, emails, or texts which is both frustrating and confusing since it seemed as though this project was one that his business could handle for us.

They did a great job. When I returned home from work you could not tell that they were there except that all the weeds were gone and the lot was graded perfectly. They cleaned up after themselves and I planted the sod and the lawn looks great. I plan to use them again this spring for some more yard work.

I loved working with Raul and R&G services, from start to finish. Returned my call within a day; came to provide an estimate within 1 day; provided a thoughtful and competitive estimate; provided a great great crew that worked hard and effectively; did not leave without ensuring that I was satisfied.....He has another customer for life!! An ABSOLUTE PLEASURE! Raul was the only one out of 5 calls I placed that came out the same day to give an estimate. Price was great. They were prompt - worked quickly and built a terrific fence for my 2 year old Australian Shepherd. I liked the work they did so much, I have hired them to take care of my grass next year. If I could give higher ratings I would. They are extremely top notch and HIGHLY recommended!

It was a really good experience, and we enjoyed our dealings with them. We simply chose to maintain our relationship with the company that was already working on the yard. We will consider them in the future, however.

Raul and his team did a great job for us. They removed an existing front sidewalk that was being pushed up by tree roots. They worked with us to design a curve that would avoid the tree roots and enhance the appearance of the yard. They were diligent and careful as they worked. The following day they came to remove the forms and replace the sod. The end result was all that we had hoped for.

The yard is loaded with tree roots. Raul's team dug the required pylon holes using just shovels. I never seen harder waorkers. These guys were great. They work fast and every thing came out level. We could not be happier with the work they did. Raul went out of his way to get the work scheduled on the date I needed it since I had helpers coming over that weekend to assist with the Gazabo construction. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Very easy to communicate with. Always on time. The paving part was not finished by the end of Friday and we were not around when they left. Much to our plesent surprise they showed up Saturday first thing to finish. The clean up was excellent they even offered to take away some old patio stones if I wanted.

George arrived and quickly began removing the soil and the bush. Then, retrieved new soil from the truck, added soil then the bush, topped it off with white rock. Trimmed and shaped the bush, tied together branched that were splitting. Cleaned up the leftover dirt. And, left. Done!

No services performed as they called back to do a quote, but then never provided a quote.

I contacted them and it took a couple of days to get a response. I finally got a response and they came out and gave me an estimate after a couple of other days. I asked if they could narrow down the scope of the work and they said "sure, here's the price for that". I called them back and emailed them and asked if they could come out within a certain time frame to do it and I've never heard from them again. In my mind, they've lost that business and even more business because we have a lot more work that could have been done.

Raul and his team are wonderful to work with. Very friendly, competent and honest. The work is beautiful and they cleaned up as well.

We are wonderfully happy we choose Raul Almanza. He and his crew are we're very professional, and easy to work with. our landscaping needs were unique and Raul was very helpful in helping solve our landscaping problems. He and his crew performed a beautiful job on our landscaping. We are very happy with the work done. They were also very considerate, and tidy. There was not one single area that I had to go back over and clean up. All debris was removed spotlessly,and work was done on time as promised. I will call Raul for all our future landscaping needs! Our front yard is now beautiful!
