Description of Work: I used Conquest some time back; I don't recall the dates or price. They did a lot of things, both at the house and in the garage, to get rid of mice and squirrels. The technician was perhaps over-ambitious and acting beyond his skill level in trimming trees and doing concrete work -- but he was super-nice and more than willing to do anything it would take to solve the problems.

Description of Work: They set mouse traps. Explained everything they were doing. Explained what we would need to do to prevent future problems.

Description of Work: I had investigated them on the list, but did not call. When Mark, the owner, was headed to our condo building to treat another unit, we stopped and spoke. Although the conversation was brief, Mark sounded very well-informed about bed bugs ... much more so than other exterminators I had used and spoken with. I would recommend contacting him if you have bed bugs.

Description of Work: Have called Conquest several times! First for carpenter bees, then for woodpeckers and lastly just for general bug/pest spraying. Alex was great and gave us the option to do things on our own instead of incurring costs with them, but we always went with the professionals! Got rid of the bees and woodpeckers, too.

Description of Work: Work still in process. This company is top-notch, persistant, on time, working to resolve a bad flea infestation. Things are definitely improving and they keep coming back and back. I tried to do this myself and that was a bad mistake.Don't do it. I may have made the situation worse. Go to them if you are in the Chicago area. Those web sites that sell products are not for amateurs and could be dangerous to your health.

Description of Work: Inspected house, found several types of ants. Put different kinds of insecticide in the different areas (including outside). Explained the nature & purpose of each kind. Had a guarantee that they would return if ants weren't gone after 2 weeks. The ants were completely gone by then.

Description of Work: They did a pre-treatment for an ant problem. We had no ants all year! last year they came after the ants started and it wasn't as successful. I'll use them again in 2015, so 3 years in a row. The same technician came out both times and he was very thorough and knowledgable.

Description of Work: Company is much more professional than other pest control companies. A little higher priced than others but will continue to use them due to their timeliness and quality of service.

Description of Work: Technician went above and beyond securing my condo unit and ensuring wasps would no longer be able to enter. He identified all possible ways the wasps were coming in, sprayed non-toxic chemicals, and sealed off holes in my unit to stop the wasps from coming in. | |

Description of Work: They came out and sprayed the exterior only. No more pill bugs or box elder beetles who used to wander inside.

Description of Work: Initial service for 6 condo units, including common areas, basement and outdoor decks. General pest control inside, outside treatment for carpenter bees, ants and wasps. The pest control company owner, Mark, arrived within the specified timeframe. He was very personable and made us feel comfortable having him in our homes. He asked questions about the types of issues we were having and spent a couple of hours performing what appeared to be a very thorough initial visit service. We have been seeing bees out back and some sawdust droppings since he serviced the decks and there were no bees out there on the day he was here..so we may need to contact him again for the carpenter bees...and someone saw some hornets...but that is not unusual...We have not had any issues inside the units since he was here. We plan to use this company to service our building on a quarterly basis..they were even willing to schedule a set day and time to come each quarter so that I do not have to remember to call them. It was a pleasure doing business with Conquest.

Description of Work: Alex responded the same day as my initial call and was great. He and I talked about the mysterious sound coming from behind the walls, investigated various areas including the garden storage and the roof, and ultimately concluded that a squirrel found its way into a chimney area at night. He advised me on numerous options that I could do independent of him and, if they didn't solve the problem, to call him again. No pressure. No BS. His suggestions did, in fact work, but I will absolutely call him if there is any type of pest issue in the future.
