Perrin Gas

All these reviews are seriously true. He called me back within 10 minutes and showed up within half an hour to run a gas line to my dryer. He's just a likable person and he can literally do anything. He didn't show up once to do an estimate and then return, instead he came with everything he needed right away and just did the job at a very good price. We will definitely want him to come back again if need will arise.

Eric Perrin is amazing! After he did a great job cleaning our grill, I saw on his business card that he replaces water heaters. Perfect timing because our 75 gallon water heater had been ailing and finally died the very day I got the business card. Eric was able to replace the water heater the next day and was again on time, totally professional and courteous. He had people there to efficiently get the new water heater in and the old one out. A couple of weeks later, a fitting failed. Brand new pipe but it had a small leak. Definitely not an installation issue. Eric was at our house within hours, drained the tank and replaced the fitting at no charge based on his parts and labor warranty. I would use or recommend him for ANY work related to water heaters, gas lines, grill-related issues (or anything else he says he can do) and wish that more vendors were as friendly, efficient and reasonable as he is.

Eric did a fantastic job, was very responsive and prompt and we had our gas turned back on within the day. Thank you Eric!

Provider showed up on time, and completed the work quickly and professionally for a very reasonable price. The new elbow fitting that replaced the old was defective (not his fault) and took a while to show leakage. I called him back and he quickly returned to our home (at 8pm nonetheless) to replace the elbow yet again. No leakage this time, and I was grateful that he came back so late to fix the defective pipe. We will definitely be using Perrin Gas again!

Wonderful work. Eric was very knowledgeable and gave me many options on a second shut off which at the end we both agreed there was no need for. He was fast and courteous and cleaned up after he was all done will for sure call him again on any other gas projects we have in the future.

Eric was prompt in scheduling the service and arrived on time. They took about 10 min to assess the kitchen and mechanical room to develop the most effective plan for installation. They were polite and friendly The work looks great and even installed a cap so that if we want to put in a gas grill outside at a later time we can. I would use them again.

He came and fixed what another contractor failed at - he was great ! Honest and smart and a pleasure to do business with ! He saved me a lot of trouble.

Eric was OUTSTANDING! He called me within 10 minutes of my request to schedule an appointment with him through Angie's List. He was kind, respectful, and professional. He was out to our house in just a couple hours and did an exceptional job. The new gas grill is hooked up and working great, and he hauled away the old one. He cleaned the gas grill so well that it looks almost new! We HIGHLY recommend Eric, and we will most certainly use him again.

Mr. Perrin was very friendly and prompt. He checked for gas leaks and detected 2 small leaks that lead to the water heater. He was able to remove all the pipes and put some compound joint and fixed it within 30 minutes. I couldn't be more happier with his services. I will definitely contact him again in the future.

I sent a note through Angie's List on Sunday and got a response within the hour. He was available the next day and came and repaired the lights. He was very friendly and professional.

Eric did a great job. He was professional, offered to get to our house the day after I called him, and he was courteous, fast and thorough. The grill looks amazing and works like new. Some people in the past have made what he did seem like more of a job and charged more for each thing they did, i.e., fixing a burner even if it was only clogged, fixing the igniter, etc. Eric charged a flat fee of $125 for cleaning and any repairs, and the only extra cost would be parts if needed. In my case, no parts were needed. He also showed me how to fix the igniter so that I can do that in the future if needed. Would use this vendor again and recommend without reservation for grill repair.

Called on Tuesday and Erik came out on Wednesday and did the job - repaired a broken regulator and totally cleaned the grill - look likes new! Very happy with this company and would definitely recommend to anyone and will use again!

Eric did a fantastic job. Called him on Friday and he came 8am Monday. Very professional. I had a grill that I bought in Australia for Natural Gas and needed it changed for US standards and propane tank. He looked at grill, figured out what needed to be done and then completed the job in less than 30 minutes. Would highly recommend him for any gas related job.

I called Eric late in the afternoon and he came out the next day to add a gas shut off valve for me after it was recommended in my home inspection. I will definitely use Eric in the future for any gas related repair issues.

The gas company confirmed I had leaking shutoff valve and connection to my dryer on a Saturday and plugged it but told me I'd have to hire someone else to replace it because the piping was above my stacked washer and dryer. I called Perrin Gas on a Saturday afternoon and Eric called me back that night and was able to work me into his schedule on Monday. Eric showed up on time, was incredibly courteous, and finished the job quickly. Hopefully I won't have another gas leak, but if I do, I will definitely call Perrin Gas again.

Eric was quick to respond and arrange a timely appointment. Eric arrived at the appointment time and quickly solved the issue. Very considerate and professional. Highly recommend.

Called Sunday to see if they can come out to fix and clean our grill. I got a call back early on Monday and we where able to set up a time on Wednesday afternoon. He explained that he would give an estimate after he saw the grill which was reasonable. He showed up early and we discussed the issues with the grill and he quoted a price to clean and fix the grill. After we agreed, he proceeded to dismantle the whole grill piece by piece and clean every piece. I knew ahead of time that some pieces had rusted through so I had already bought the replacements which he installed. After cleaning he checked the grill and it works great. We cooked on it that night and it was so nice to have a grill that we can correctly moderate the heat again.

Eric serviced a few gas leaks we had in our basement plus he fixed a boiler pilot light. He was very timely and very knowledgeable. Fairly priced. Eric will definitely be our go to man and I will remove any others I had for this type of service. We highly recommend him.

Eric is simply excellent. He checked out our system, was well versed on everything we asked and updated lines and connections as necessary. I feel a lot safer in the house now and was thrilled with the service we received. Thanks Eric!!

He spent about an hour. Though we did not ask him to, he not only fixed the problems, he cleaned the grill and painted the parts that could be painted. It looks brand new and he said that it should be good for at least another ten years. I wish I would have called him at the beginning of the season.

He came out and cleaned everything and he got it working. He is experienced in that type of service. His is very polite and very responsive. He knows what he is doing. He cleaned everything up. He worked for the gas company for years so he can do a complete gas installation. I think he came out either the same day or the next day. So, I am perfectly satisfied with his service. He took charge of the situation which was beyond my capabilities. He was very capable and knows what he was doing. The price is reasonable.

After having an appliance installed for which the gas was shut off, we tried but couldn't relight the pilot light of our gas water heater. We figured it was the igniter and started calling Angie's List plumbers. We contacted Eric Perrin,who was highly rated, offers 24-hour emergency service (even on weekends), and is in our suburb. He suggested we call Sears, who had installed the water heater only 6 years ago - we hadn't thought to do that. But the earliest they could get the part was Tuesday, three days from now! We couldn't go 3 days without hot water, so we called Eric back and left a message. He called us back promptly and asked if anyone had tried to relight the water heater manually, without the igniter. When we said no, he said he'd be right over - and he was: less than 30 minutes. He took care of the problem quickly, suggested we cancel the order for the part from Sears (since now we didn't need it and don't expect to turn the gas off again). His charge for the work was fair and he was extremely pleasant, professional, responsive, and friendly. He also said if we were to lose the pilot again for any reason, he'd come over again and relight it for free! We recommend Eric highly!

Eric is a consummate professional, also an individual who clearly enjoys his work AND explaining what he is doing to the customer. Would I recommend him? I feel like finding customers for him--that's how good he made me feel with the completion of his work for us.
