Perrin Gas

Perrin Gas responded quickly, coming out to do the work the day after we called. The repair was done quickly and professionally, and at a very fair price. We would definitely use Perrin Gas again!

I chose them because of their reviews on Angie?s List and the fact that they could come out immediately. They got the job done. They were very helpful, reliable and on time - they were great. I do not remember the price being outrageous - it was very reasonable. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

Eric came to our house less than 24 hours after we first called. He arrived right on time, and was able to find and fix two leaks in our gas fireplace within about a half hour. He was very friendly, helpful, and professional. We will definitely use him again in the future for any gas-related needs.

We were very pleasantly surprised when we were given estimate that was significanly lower than the competitors. Eric and his brother came out the next day and did a large job in less than 2 hours. They ran gas pipes from outside into the fireplace and installed gas logs. They took their time to demonstrate all of the safety precautions and disconnected a pipe that they didn't think was good. We are extremely pleased with the price and the service. Would definitely recommend!

I needed to have a gas shut off valve installed behind our oven. Our original oven no longer worked and we had a new one delivered, but the delivery guys would not install the oven without a gas shut off valve. I called Perrin Gas and a couple other companies and Eric responded within an hour or two of me leaving a message. To my relief he said he could stop by after work that very same day to install the shut off valve. He gave me a quote over the phone of $100. Eric Perrin showed up on time, was very professional and had the valve installed and tested in 10-15 minutes. He even took a look at our gas fireplace which didn't appear to be working and he was able to get it working too! All that for the agreed upon $100. Great service. I would highly recommend Perrin Gas.

My husband tried to start the grill with the automatic starter and he had problems. We called again and Perrin came out a few minutes later. The problem was ours, not theirs, and workman was very curtious

I called Eric and he was able to make it out the same day. I was given a break on the price due to being an Angie's List member. He capped the gas line indoors and disconnected the grill outside. He took the old grill and disposed of it. He was friendly and did a great job. Highly recommended.

We phoned Eric and discussed the issue over the phone he gave us a worse case estimate of $350 and set up an appt for him to see a day later. Eric came over on time and said that he would get the parts required and could move for us two days later. As promised he showed up on time and proceeded to install the shut off switch and set up the meter at the location we requested against the interior wall. He then tested for leaks , made sure all the gas appliances were working appropriately and cleaned up the work area. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family. Very professional and easy to work with.

Perrin was easy to work with -- I left a message, and the call was returned the same day and scheduled for the following evening. The owner came out and was super-friendly and quick. He apologized for the minimum service rate but offered to apply it/offer a discount if we needed more work done in the future.

I only wish Angie's List allowed higher ratings; Eric was fantastic. I had a home inspection before I bought my house. The inspector said he found twelve gas leaks in the basement and marked them. After reading all of the glowing reviews, I called Perrin Gas to give me an estimate to fix the leaks. I left a message on the machine and did not hear back for two days. I had pretty much written him off and was looking to find another suitable contractor. Just then I received a call from Eric. Turns out he was out of the county and he was calling me from the Miami airport where his plane had just touched down!!! Unbelievable dedication. I was severely impressed and set up an appointment for the following evening. Eric came right on time and immediately got to work. He checked all of the marked leaks (using two different methods) and found out that there were really only two (the inspectors sniffer was unreliable in confined spaces, giving multiple positives). I also asked him to remove two gas pipes to some space heaters that we were going to remove. He went out to his truck and brought back all of the parts he needed and in less than an hour had all of the piping done. He ran the tester over the leaks and other marked areas to prove that there was no more problem. For such an amazing response I said I thought he deserved more than he was asking, but he turned it down. Extraordinary.

Excellent job, Perrin (owner) came out on time, and was very professional. Our gas leak was very difficult to find, as it was underneath our basement stairwell. He was able to identify the source of the leak (which we had been living with for one year), and troubleshoot/fix the problem. No more leak/smell, and such a pleasure to not have to go through People's Gas, who would have immediately turned off our gas and offered no support. I woudl highly recommend Perrin Gas for any work in the future- great experience.

Eric was very responsive, set up a time to come over on Saturday evening and checked the area for gas leaks. He found three very small ones and corrected them. This was a $95.00 charge. He was unable to take care of the rerouting of the gas line and removal of the meter during the same trip but returned on Monday to do this. This was a $250 charge. He was pleasant, timely and explained his work.

Great. Easy to schedule and the problem was solved completely. We are happy to have a working fireplace again! He even mentioned that we needed to make sure we had a carbon monoxide detector, since the fireplace is in a basement family room.

It was a good experience. They came when they said they would come. They followed up, just as they said. The final price was lower than the estimate, so that's always good. I would use them again. I thought their quality was good and their price was very reasonable.

Eric called me right back after I left him a message and had great availability. He came on a Friday night, right when he said he would. He purchased a beautiful log set and installed it within three hours. We are very satisfied and LOVE how well our fire works!

Eric was AWESOME. I called him in a panic on Saturday night, and he returned my call right away. My gas had been shut off due to gas leaks, and I had a house guest coming the next morning. Eric was extremely responsive and said he'd come out first thing the next morning (a SUNDAY, no less) to make the necessary repairs. He worked very efficiently and was able to identify the problem very quickly. I would hire him again in a second and can't recommend him highly enough.

Eric, the owner, was easy to schedule with, he came out, took a look at the range location and then took a look at the gas lines in the basement. He had an estimate for us on the spot, and did the work right then, too. He was quick, thorough and very professional, and as other's have noted, a genuinely nice guy! Fortunately, we haven't had any gas leaks or the need to call him out again, but we wouldn't hesitate to use him in the future.

Very well. Eric first came out on an evening to hook up a new gas grill. He took one look at the existing line and said that it did not meet code and was not safe. The following weekend he came out, removed the old unsafe line and installed a new line to the gas meter with its own shutoff valve and then hooked up the gas grill. Now we are enjoying our grill and know the line is safe.

This service went very well. Eric responded to my request for an appointment very quickly and he was able to accommodate coming to my house within a day of our first contact. He was able to come out after 6:00 PM when we arrived home from work. Eric finished the evaluation and fixed the problem in a very short period of time.

Eric is great. He was on time, quick, provided an estimate at no cost and put no pressure on us. Quality work overall. He was a nice guy as well and I would recommend him to others.

Was a great experience. The work was performed the same day I called. I'd expected him to just provide a detailed estimate, but he was able to do the work that same evening. Eric came by around 6:30 or so, when he said he would show up. He provided me with a rough estimate over the phone, and, even with the unanticipated, additional work, he stuck within his estimate. Eric is courteous and professional and a pleasure to work with.

Eric was very responsive and friendly. He arrived on time when he said he would. So far, our grill has worked great. My only complaint is the price. $75 seemed high for the amount of time he spent working on our grill. We did not receive an estimate before he worked. However, since we had a hard time finding a place who would even look at a gas grill, I guess he's in high demand.
