Description of Work: The initial process seemed very good. The sales person called back and said they had to increase the estimate for the sump pump because it was undersized. The flood control system that was presented was very good and convincing. Everything went smoothly until the rod used at the end of the project to clean out to the street got stuck at the street connection. They told me that i would have to pay an additional $6000 to dig the street to release the rod because the connection was broken and had snagged the end ot the rod. The city could not verify that there was a broken connection in the films of the lines made by the city months earlier. Park said that their films show a collapsed joint and that I would have to pay the additional $6000 to have the rod removed. I ultimately told them to remove the rod and that I could not to afford to pay the additional amount which is why i hired them.They cut off the rod and left it in the pipe saying there were no guarantees that the drainage would continue to work well.So I went from being quite positive about the plan to being very disappointed that it was left in a questionable status. If they hadn't been so negative and customer unfriendly in tone or would have proposed a compromise to resolve the problem I would have highly recommended them.I had the impression that they could afford to risk that recommendation based on the volume of work that they have been doing around my neighborhood.

We do apologize that you feel you had a bad customer service experience with our company. We take this review seriously and aim to make any improvements that are necessary. It is never an easy task dealing with broken sewer lines especially in the middle of an ongoing Flood Control installation. Unfortunately in Park Ridge it is the homeowner's responsibility to make any repairs necessary on the sewer line coming from their home. We did send an estimate for the sewer repair needed, along with letter going over the situation and the warranty of your system installed last year. The warranty and effectiveness of the Flood Control System is being affected by the fact that you have an existing sewer problem which 'can' potentially completely stop your sewer from flowing, thus the flood control would not be able to work.

PL WAS REQUESTED TO GIVE $ ESTIMATE ON UPDATING FCS. JEFF PARKS CAME OUT SEVERAL TIMES TO OUR BUILDING OVER THE YEARS WHEN WE WERE LOOKING AT OVERHEAD SEWER OPTIONS. I HAD HEARD THAT THIS COMPANY WAS EXPERT IN OVERHEAD SYSTEMS, SO I WANTED TO HIRE THEM. I ALSO THOUGHT THAT THEIR QUOTE WAS REASONABLE FOR THIS WORK AND HE WAS WILLING TO HELP US WITH OUR CONDENSATION LINE FOR A SMALL EXTRA CHARGE. IT TOOK A WHILE TO SCHEDULE THE WORK WHICH SURPRISED ME A BIT. ALSO, THE PLUMBERS WERE LATE IN ARRIVING. HOWEVER, THEY DID A NICE JOB AND WE WERE PLEASED WITH THE END RESULTS. I WOULD HIRE AGAIN FOR ANY FUTURE OVERHEAD WORK.

WE ARE CURRENTLY ENGAGED IN A DISPUTE WITH THE COMPANY. THEY INSTALLED A TOILET SHUTOFF VALVE DURING THEIR FIRST VISIT. AFTER THE PLUMBERS DEPARTED, THE TOILET LEAKED, ALTHOUGH IT HAD NEVER LEAKED PREVIOUSLY. THE PLUMBERS RETURNED TO FIX THE LEAK AND CHARGED US $133. BASICALLY, THEY BROKE THE TOILET AND THEN CHARGED ME PARTS AND LABOR TO FIX IT. I''VE TOLD THEM THAT THIS IS RIDICULOUS, BUT HAVE NOT REACHED AN AGREEMENT.
