Osman's Carpentry Work

Working with Val and Flo was an absolute pleasure! I had them come in to frame out our basement, hang the drywall and do all the trim work. Val and Flo were prompt, professional, flexible and transparent through the estimating process. When the work began, Flo was always very organized, let me know of issues or decisions that needed to be made, gave me enough heads up to be able to make decisions with enough time and was overall very professional. The site was always cleaned up at the end of every day. The end result was fantastic work and we would absolutely hire them again for any type of home project. Both Val and Flo communicated very well about scheduling and everything was finished ahead of schedule and on-budget.

Osmans Carpentry is excellent. Val came to the site and gave a very fair estimate of the work and the price. Communication is excellent. Flo is a very talented carpenter and installed a new 16 foot wood banister to the lower level. He also repaired a number of the stair balusters, fixing them in position very nicely. Super efficient worker who is very talented. Would hire them again without hesitation.

Flo and Val were great people to work with. Highly recommend! Val is excellent with business!! Flo took the extra time taking extra steps for reinforcement of cabinets, and came up with quick solutions on the spot to compensate for our house being built in 1933. Very nice people to work with!!

I have hired MANY contractors over the years and OSMAN'S carpentry is by far the best of the best. He unpacked, and assembled all the little parts and had the cabinets up in 2 days where other contractors would have taken at least a week. A few problems arose due to previous contractor work that he easily fixed. He was precise, reliable, on time, and honest! We could not be happier. He even noticed other things that needed fixing, asked if it was ok to fix (at no charge) which he did happily. You won't regret using OSMAN'S. We will use him for life!!

Flo arrived on time as scheduled for the project. All necessary supplies were on hand. He and his associate worked smoothly together. The project consisted of replacing 11 steps and risers and all stair trim. Flo completed the carpentry part in one day. His painters came the next day and applied 2 coats of paint. The porch looks great. The project price was fair and competitive. Not only are we 100% satisfied with Osman Carpentry, but we are scheduled to have them complete another 3 projects for us and probably a 4th project after that. You will be glad you hired them. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

Absolutely amazing, I don't even know where to start. I am doing a full renovation on a condo in Chicago and first met Val and Flo for an estimate on getting the kitchen framed. Val is extremely responsive and scheduling was easy. There are absolutely no games and their prices, in my opinion, are low for the quality of service they provide. Flo is the kind of person who takes extreme pride in his work and it shows. He pointed out issues that I was not aware of that also needed to be fixed and took care of them with no problems. I have used them to do the framing in my kitchen, install my cabinets, and install my new base trim/shoe base. Flo is always very considerate and careful while doing his work and has always left the place clean. I cannot recommend their services enough!

There prices are reasonable and they do very good work. Flo took the time to explain every step of the installation process. They took great care to clean up after the job.

They came out to install cabinets in our kitchen and started out strong and professional. It was a 2-3 day job and on the last day, Flo left without installing a pantry cabinet because he came alone and did not have help. He did not clean up and left sawdust inside the cabinets everywhere. He split one of our cabinets when he screwed it in and would not come back when we asked him to fix it. They said to come back to fix that problem would be an inconvenience because they were so busy. When he asked for payment, he intimidated my wife as I left to do something at work. They is still work to finish (other cabinets coming in a few weeks) and so the balance that is left will not cover the remaining work if we choose to hire someone else. He insisted to be paid for most of the work and was nasty with my wife and demanding so she paid him. The quality of the work is good but the customer service, attitude and leaving a mess was unacceptable and we would never hire them again. I run a company that builds homes and they messed up an opportunity to scale up working with us on a decade of cabinet installs.

Very nice father and son team. Total professionals who truly want to please with their work. Nice installation job, and they did a great cleanup job. Nice guys--I highly recommend them!
