Description of Work: Communication was perfect. Mike responded immediately to my request for an estimate. He provided it the following day. I paid the 60% required upfront by credit card and immediately received an e-receipt. Mike turned up with his two workers. Neither spoke English. Mike showed them everything, including a water damage area. By day 3 we had beautifully refinished wood floors. Mike is knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He suggested some stains should we prefer a different finish. I would very happily use his services again.

Description of Work: Sanded and clear coated square tile style hardwood floors that hadn't been sanded since they were installed in the 50s. The floors look unbelievably good; I am surprised at how much they were able to improve them. The guys did a great job and took care of an 800 ish sq. ft. job in one day.

Description of Work: Mike's Flooring sanded and refinished my hardwood floors. They did a great job bringing the floor back to its original light wood grain color. They kept the dust to the minimum but as a precaution covered all our kitchen cabinets with plastic. There was hardly any clean-up after the floors dried. The crew was friendly, courteous, professional and punctual. Best of all they kept to the time line. When the floors need to be refinished again, I will be calling Mike's flooring.

Description of Work: Mike's Flooring installed a new hardwood floor in our family room that had previously just been carpet on concrete slab floor. They did an excellent job, and were very timely. My only issue was that the day we had to make the final decision on the stain color, Mike was not there, and I chose the wrong color. We were planning to match other hardwood floors in the house, and what I chose is not the best match. By the time I saw it, it was already finished. Make sure you have Mike help you select the color!

Description of Work: Found out my floor is not sealed. Little or no sealant. Filler between boards falls out and stain left on all woodwork because no one put tape on it to keep floor stain from staining woodwork.
