To address the electrical: They put less outlets than contracted, told me they would move heavy furniture to replace, or place, outlets and didn't do that. They made a huge mess, took 5 times longer than promised, blamed everything on me and made constant excuses. They left tons of equipment in the middle of my living room for 5 weeks and then stole some of my tools when they left. They left gaping holes in my walls where they changed outlets and only reluctantly agreed to patch them (badly) when I complained. They broke items in my house and only replaced a coffee maker they smashed when I complained. They promised to seal off work areas with plastic so the plaster dust would not cause a mess. The plastic stayed up for about an hour and then fell down, but they kept working. I had to replace electronics that were full of dust and couldn't be salvaged. They broke an antique bookcase moving it and did nothing to fix or replace it. One worker spent an entire day talking on his cellphone and was completely unprofessional throughout the experience. Most of the circuit breakers are mislabeled so we can never figure out which breaker to shut off when we need to. The only thing they did on time was cash my checks.
Description of Work: Metro not only rewired my house, but they sold themselves to me as general contractors as well and remodeled my bathroom. All I will say about the bathroom is I had to have most of the work ripped out and redone properly and there are problems with what is left. The electrical service was upgraded and all old wiring was supposed to be replaced as well as new outlets and switches.
