MC Glass

They took measurements for a storm window for our very large (56' x 75', bronze, high e glass, triple track) double sash window. It was special order, and MC Glass kept me informed. During installation, they were careful with my very in the way landscaping. They installed six "normal" storm windows for me 5 years ago. Great job then, too. MC Glass is more expensive than some, but they provide high quality products, are very good with the details, and communicate professionally.

It went fine. They are nice -- and did a good job. Wish they said hello when I went in the door. Wish they'd say they'd stay open for me when I called and they said they'd close in 20 minutes -- I was about 20 minutes away -- and didn't ask .... Just a wish

Ben immediately explained that antique etched glass mirrors were not their field. He spent much time helping me consider my options to restore the mirror. His shop does not do beveling and he felt the expense (aproximately $400) might be far more than worthwhile. He even took my mirror into the city to check that out. I could not ask for more helpful, polite service and certainly would go straight to Ben for any glass or mirror replacement that i will need in the future. This was A+ service.

Came on date requested and reviewed work to be done. Called back within a reasonable time to schedule work. Came back on time as scheduled to repair glass shower door that had a broken hinge. Fixed perfectly and at a reasonable price. Very responsive and polite. While job was apparently minor to do, they did it well. Other companies were not even willing to do the work. They bought my loyalty with their service.

They were everything you'd want in customer service, installation, timeliness, and professionalism. The storms are high quality and installed professionally. No hassles. They were pricey, but this is an example of you get what you pay for. Happy.

Brilliant here put her hand (very easily and silently) through the glass of the front door Wednesday night. Called MC Glass before 9 the next morning, and they said they could be at my house by 11:30. They were there before 11. Impressive. Gave me an estimate for replacing ALL the non-code 1/16-inch glass (not just what I broke) for both the front and kitchen doors, which had the original house glass in them. The estimate seemed a bit high but not out of range, and they could do the work Friday AM. Snow intervened, so they were half an hour late Friday, but the job took 1/2 hour less than planned, so they were still out on time. The glass is code: 1/8-inch safety glass. Both doors seem more stable, quiet and airless now. Very little damage was done to the paint and wood pieces between the glass. I certainly couldn't have been more careful, so I assume they couldn't either. The workman spread a quilt on my entrance tile to protec the area and cleaned up carefully. I'm pleased.

We called MC Glass and someone met me at our condo within hours of the call. He was able to get the information about damage to the door frame and determine the size, width and thickness of the glass needed to replace the door glass within minutes. He also called the office to get information and gave us the estimated cost. We asked him to go ahead and order the glass, clean up the glass from the damaged area and do the job. With the downpayment, he followed through and did all the work seemlessly. We were very happy to have worked with reliable and efficient people. We recommend their work ethic and the speed with which they delivered service.

They gave us an estimate over the phone which they stuck to. I thought they were good. They did what they said they would do and there was no problem.

During remodeling, two of my glass tops were smashed. Both pieces of furniture are antiques. One is an 80 year old dresser with a very elaborate pattern and the other is a 70 year old buffet with a more standard cut. Each piece of glass was at least 5 feet. MC came out and gave me an estimate in a timely fashion. They then sent someone to make detailed templates. The tops were delivered within two weeks and are a perfect fit. The tops were cleaned before they were put down. I am very pleased with my whole experience. I feel this company handled all areas of this service in a very professional manner.

They were really good. I would use them again in the future. They came right away. They were prompt and the price was reasonable. They did a really good job and cleaned up after themselves. I have a very old house and they were really conscious about maintaining the character of the house. He was very sensitive with the fact that it was very old glass and told me that I should keep that glass and use bits for other things around the house. I would give him an A on everything.

It went very well. They did a great job replacing the glass. They took the frame to their shop, repaired it there and had it back within a week. I had assumed installation was also included, but it was not. That would really be my only complaint. I felt the work, price, and turnover time were all very good.

One of the windows in my bedroom upstairs was cracked. It wasn’t completely broken through, but I was afraid that it would break. It was a very old window and I like the fact that he appreciated that. He suggested that I save the glass because it was the old glass. He came out immediately. I liked him very much and I am planning on using him again. I was very impressed with him. I don’t remember the price, but I do remember not being shocked by it.

Because of accidents, this the third glass top I've had for this table. The owner jokingly threatened to do the next one in Plexiglas. The coffee table is U shaped, so this is not an easy job. The top was not ready when promised, but the price was less than quoted. I was not in a hurry, so the delay wasn't a problem. MC Glass has always done good work and have been pleasant to deal with.

They came the next day after we called them. They brought a ladder with them which was great because we have an extremely tall house. They did the work very quickly and were reasonably priced.

Mr. Ben Beaton respond to my request for a proposal quickly and upon acceptance ordered the glass and was able to install within a week.The work crew came prepared with material that they needed and proceeded to remove the old glass and to repair the sill. They then installed the new glass. They were able to do the entire job in one day as promised. The total cost including the sill repair was competitive with other estimated I received.

This is a family owned business, and the staff are helpful and courteous. It is a pleasure to do business with people who take pride in doing good work.

I called the company shortly after my son kicked a football through our front window. They provided an estimate based on the size of the window and said they could come out the same day. A second company I called could not come out for several days and quoted a higher price. MC Glass came out when they said they would and replaced the window in about 1 hour. The final price was actually lower than the quote. I was pleased with the service and we had no problems with the window.

This was pretty painless. I called in the dimensions, they called me when it was ready, and they put it in the car for me to take home. The only issues I had were that I got slightly different prices each time I called, and the glass is actually slightly bigger than the table top, so it sticks out a bit. (I'm sure I could have returned it, but a sheet of glass that size is pretty unwieldy, and we really needed it because we use that table all the time.)
