While he was able to give us great insights about the product, the warranty replacement part will need to come from directly the Kitchenaid people. That said, I am still glad I paid for the visit and diagnosis because now I know what the problem is, and can make sure Kitchenaid comes with the proper part the first time around. Thanks!!

Phoned and Marty had a full schedule that day, but promised to fit me in. From my description, Marty knew exactly what was wrong and quoted me a price. I called him a few times to see if he had any idea of when he would arrive. He was always very polite and assured me that he would be at my house that day. He arrived after 6:30 and worked non-stop emptying my very full freezer and defrosting the inside which had turned into a giant sheet of ice. He replaced the parts and presented a bill for the quoted amount. He was very nice and very professional. Apologized repeatedly for being late, although he really wasn't late, since he had said he would fit me in. Would definitely recommend Marty.

He worked really hard to figure out what the problem was and he was honest and prompt.

Our e-mail contact request was answered with a phone call in a matter of a couple of hours, and and appointment scheduled for the 2nd business day (Tuesday before Thanksgiving). Marty arrived on time in the AM and reviewed what was needed. He was thorough and cleaned the machine as well as pointing out a valve that would need replacement in the next year. We asked him to include the valve in this job so as to save a future, perhaps inconvenient, service call. He returned in a couple of hours with all the parts he needed and efficiently completed the repair. Marty owns his business and his wife takes the orders. He attends company sponsored education seminars so his skills are current. He was very impressive and seemed to really know exactly what he was doing. It was so refreshing to see a man take such pride in his work.

Called me back twice to set up appointment - once over the weekend. Explained they couldn't come out until the following week, but made me an appointment for then, called to let me know an approximate time and called again to let me know they were on the way. Marty was thorough, clean and professional, dryer was cleaned and leveled, working well. I have used Marty's for around three years for all my appliance repairs, fridge/freezer, washer and dryer and always have received quality, fair and professional service. I would not use anyone else.

Dream interaction, dream service! Highly recommend this company. The woman on the phone was courteous and asked for specific details on the problem which were clearly relayed to Marty. Marty showed up exactly on time, diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate and had it fixed within 45 minutes. After that, he went one step further and suggested we replace the heating unit in the freezer as he said it looked like it could go sooner rather than later and then he would just be out again. He IMMEDIATELY said that he would not charge me any additional fees for parts or labor as he had already given me an estimate. He then cleaned up after himself and, I daresay, left the place cleaner than when he came! In toto, a great experience with the following qualities I look for in good service: quick response to a request for an appointment; on time arrival; quick diagnosis of issue and quick repair; took things one step further and anticipated a future repair.

Excellent. Marty was very thorough and diagnosed all parts of the refrigerator and freezer. Multiple things were not working and he analyzed each problem methodically and accurately. He bought the necessary parts that day and came back for replacement that day as well. He cleaned and serviced it and it is working better than ever. I will not even think of hiring anyone else for large appliance repair but Marty again.

I was pretty impressed in the beginning. Very responsive and cleaned the refrigerator. However I am having a problem with the freezer that hasn't been resolved yet. It may be my fault but I'm not sure.

Marty called back to let me know he wold not make it but that the next day he would be out. He kept in touch with me the whole time. He is reasonably priced and worked really well on the entire unit. Thanks!

Turns out that the line to the ice maker was frozen. Marty thawed the line and it was fixed. We were embarrassed, that we could have fixed it ourselves, but with the stress of moving didn't even try. It did cost us $189 for no repair, no part and less than an hour's worth of time!

Marty did a good job, was professional and thorough; he seemed honest and trustworthy.

Came day after I called, on time, called to tell me he was on the way..

Had a hard time getting in touch with them. No discounts for Angie's List, Service call flat $80 plus repair. Worker was quick.

HE WAS OUT HERE BY 10:30 AM- THE SAME MORNING THAT I CALLED. IT WAS GREAT. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR PROMPT SERVICE & THE DRYER WORKS. IT WAS WONDERFUL.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH MARTY WAS EXCELLENT. FIRST, COMMUNICATION WITH HIS OFFICE WAS VERY GOOD, VERY RESPONSIVE. MARTY CAME OUT ON TIME AND DISCOVERED THAT AN AIR BUBBLE HAD CAUSED SOME WATER TO FREEZE IN THE LINE THAT SUPPLIED THE ICE MAKER -- MARTY UNFROZE IT AND SHOWED ME HOW TO FIX IT SHOULD IT HAPPEN AGAIN (IT CAN HAPPEN WHEN YOU CHANGE THE FILTER). ALSO, HE DETERMINED THAT WE NEEDED SEVERAL VALVES REPLACED -- ON THE LINE TO THE FREEZER, AS WELL AS ON OUR MAIN WATER VALVE. THIS WAS CAUSING THE PRESSURE PROBLEM. MARTY EXPLAINED EVERYTHING, AND IN ADDITION, CLEANED OUT ALL THE COILS AND AREAS OF THE REFRIGERATOR/FREEZER THAT CAN CAUSE IT TO OPERATE LESS OPTIMALLY. HE WAS REALLY THOROUGH AND PROFESSIONAL AND PROVIDED GREAT SERVICE. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY CALL HIM AGAIN FOR APPLIANCE REPAIRS.

MY EXPERIENCE WAS EXCELLENT. THE COMPANY ACCOMMODATED THE FACT THAT I WORKED AND WAS AVAILABLE TO COME AT 5PM WHEN I ARRIVED HOME. MARTY WAS SCHEDULED TO COME, BUT COULDN'T SO HE HAD SOMEONE CALL ME AND TELL ME HE WOULD BE COMING INSTEAD. HE ARRIVED ON TIME, KNEW WHAT WAS WRONG, AND HAD IT FIXED WITHIN 1/2 HOUR. VERY COURTEOUS, PRICED REASONABLY. WOULD DEFINITELY USE AGAIN FOR ANY LARGE APPLIANCE REPAIR.

COMMUNICATION WITH THE COMPANY WAS QUITE GOOD. I WOULD LEAVE A MESSAGE WITH THE ANSWERING SERVICE AND MARTY'S WIFE WOULD CALL BACK. I'M PRETTY BUSY SO IT TOOK AWHILE. I GIVE HER CREDIT FOR HER TENACITY. MARTY ARRIVED A FEW DAYS LATER AND FIXED THE PROBLEM. WHILE HE WAS AT THE HOUSE HE CHECKED OVER THE APPLIANCE AND FOUND THAT THE COMPRESSOR WAS EXCESSIVELY DIRTY. HE TOOK CARE OF THAT AS WELL. DURING EACH AND EVERY STEP HE REALLY MADE IT A POINT TO EXPLAIN WHAT HE WAS DOING. AND, WOW...THE INVOICE HAS GOT TO BE THE MOST DETAILED APPLIANCE REPAIR SHEET I'VE EVER SEEN. THIS GUY IS METICULOUS. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND HIM OR HIS COMPANY. GREAT EXPERIENCE OVERALL.

I FELT HE WAS EXTREMELY COMPETENT AND NEAT ABOUT HIS WORK. HE EXPLAINS EVERYTHING TO YOU. PRICE IS REASONABLE.

I FIRST CALLED THEM LATE ON A SAT. AFTERNOON, HOPING I WOULD HEAR FROM THEM ON MONDAY. THEY CALLED BACK LATER ON SAT, SET UP AN APPT. FOR MONDAY, CAME 5 MIN. EARLY, AND WERE FINISHED WITHIN 25 MIN.
