NO, JUST NO!!!! I bought a home from a flipper and he used FAR Remodeling for the upgrades. If I could give them a negative star I would! To start off with, many of the larger projects they undertook on my home during the remodeling, they never applied for a building permit with the city (I found out after a city inspector came by to inspect one issue I reported and he discovered a serious second issue) - FAR did not apply for a permit when they built the back deck and it is not built to city code. Their work and craftsmanship (or lack there of) is horrible! Rooms left with blotches on the walls unpainted, no silicone on any of the bathroom tiles which caused leaking from the upstairs bathroom to go through the downstairs lighting fixtures and caused electrical issues and flooding, they dry walled over plumbing pipe accesses which required me to call a professional plumber to punch through the dry wall and put in access doors, the ceiling vents in the lower level were not secured to the ceiling properly and the crews are stripped and the ventilation is poor, there was no exterior or interior window sealing used so my first winter in my new home I had pools of water dripping off of ALL the window sills onto the hard wood floors, the trim on ALL the kitchen cabinets were not cut evenly or in some cases cut at all, the inside of the new kitchen cabinets had chunks of wood missing because the cabinet door pulls were screwed on incorrectly and cased the wood to break and chip off, SO MUCH MORE and none of these things were apparent until after I bought the home. I have now paid an additional $20,000.00 out of pocket to fix the mess they left. The final straw is that I was receiving all FAR Remodeling's business mail at my home for the first year including their tax return documents. Apparently when they work on a home they register that home address as their "office" address and all mail is delivered there. DO NOT USE THEM!
