They sprayed open cell foam in joist rims and boxes in crawl space and basement along with the walls in the crawl space. | |The proof of the pudding won't be fully realized until next winter but I have every confidence the problem was identified during the consultation and was properly installed.

Given it was the coldest winter to date in Chicagoland, we had tremendous ice damns and water problems during the thaw. We went room by room and were shown all of the areas where heat loss was greatest. We are now able to fix accordingly.

Description of Work: I thought they would help with overall energy efficiency (I.e.- doors, windows, drafts in the house, insulation, etc..). Instead, you essentially pay someone $60 for them to come out and tell you that you need your entire house insulated. They do not do any soft of window or door sealing/maintainance. I think I misunderstood the offer/package, total waist of money considering I had insulated my attic personally several months prior.

Description of Work: I paid for a thermal scan and assessment of my house. The technician spot checked trouble spots in the house but did not do a thorough scan. He recommended a service to better insulate the house. I wasn't sure if it was necessary. It seemed like he just wanted to sell me an expensive service. To top it off, he never sent an estimate even though I followed up!

Description of Work: Eco Tech came to our house and performed the thermal imaging analysis. I asked them to provide a quote for the attic space. Jason was professional and informative. Based on cost benefit of the procedure, I opted to not perform the service at this time, but I may consider in the future.

Description of Work: Foam insulation of first floor exterior walls and insulation of attic. The workers were very nice. It was pricy but I can tell a difference immediately. It would hav been A + if they had been a bit tidier cleaning up foam on a few places on the exterior siding. I do recommend this company

Description of Work: A house visit and estimate for attic insulation. Delay in responding, delay in giving estimate. Otherwise, pleasant--but I am not convinced that this technology would work for our older home.

Description of Work: We got the energy eval big deal and subsequently hired them to install spray foam in the basement. The installers ripped out the drywall where there were supposed to only drill a small hole to fill the area. The sales rep was very good about providing resolution to the issue, but the hassle that we had to endure over a very long period of time was not worth it. I appreciate all of his efforts to remedy the situation and the quality otherwise seems ok, but ultimately wish we had not used them due to all the hassle, including constant rescheduling by them and having to turn our schedules upside down to get their error resolved.

Description of Work: I purchased a review for insulation in my home. The estimator had to cancel his first appointment and then when he arrived his machine didn't have enough charge to do the inspection. I had to get an extension cord for him. After emailing me the estimates for where we discussed insultation needs never followed up to see if I wanted to complete the installation.

Description of Work: Spray foam under a crawl space and the rim joices in the basement. Cleaned out the old insulation. Nice work.
