Steve was very responsive and timely. However, he came and took a quick look and quickly suggested we replace our entire AC unit for $5k. We got a second opinion, thankfully, who noticed within 5 minutes that the capacitor was broken, had a replacement part in his truck, and fixed our AC unit all for $500. Going with Steves suggestion would have sunk our money unnecessarily.

We had Dr.HVAC out for an HVAC leak. He told us we needed to replace the whole furnace immediately and he saw electrical damage on our circuit board and there was an 85% chance of fire. After 10-15 minutes. We got a second opinion and the other guy found a clog immediately (it seems that dr. HVAC did not even try), he saw NO electrical damage, and we just needed the clog removed and the HVAC serviced. The second opinion saved me $5-7 thousand dollars.

Needed my AC recharged. Came by almost immediately after calling and offered fantastic advice. Also pointed out what needed to be clean and did the cleaning, stuff I wished I knew. Work was completed quickly. The total cost of the visit was reasonable. The price per pound of the AC coolant was a little high, compared to other quotes. But I didn't get service from the other quotes so who knows what the final bill would have been, Two weeks later and my AC is working just fine and I have no complaints.

It was a boiling hot 4th of July weekend and Steve came out right away to help us cool the house down! He was a lifesaver. Very congenial personality, extremely knowledgeable and totally professional. We appreciate his service and would highly recommend this company!

Steve from DR HVAC is a very honest business owner. He came in after two attempts from another company to fix our HVAC, the unit only ran with the plate off. The first company did not do anything either time and said the intake was blocked. Steve let us know imediately that it was a much larger issue than what the other company made it out to be and we needed a new unit. We were scheduled to have the new HVAC installed but the unit steve received was damaged on arrival. Instead of installing the unit, he got another and installed it a few days later. He also made adjustments to the new installation as the previous system was not setup properly. Highly recommend, you can tell steve's got years and years of experience
