They were okay. Somebody else installed it. Their stuff was pretty high end but it was good stuff. I would recommend them to others. Their customer service was good. They had it the next day. They did not have anything there, they had to order everything but they had it the next day. I had not used this provider before. I found them right on the street; I had not seen them and used them before.

They did a very good job overall. The tile they were working with was a handmade tile with slight variations, and the finished looks great. Because we weren't 100% decisive on the plan, they did have to make a couple of alterations, but they did so without any extra hassle or expense. They didn't try to oversell us on anything, and was patient with delays caused by the tile company we ordered from.

Fantastic. Owner ordered exactly the correct amount of tile for the kitchen walls, none wasted. Made recommendation for addition I had never considered: cutting an extra slap I had remaining from original kitchen counter installation to add an end splash to kitchen counter . Installer Don cut it and installed it. Installer arrived promptly over three days, cleaned up meticulously at end of each work day, incredible attention to details, explained what he was doing and why. From on-site estimate to job completion : a little over 2 weeks. Dallia knows its business; they are artists.

Steve was very helpful and they had alot of samples to view. It was very easy to check out the samples and take them home (which isn't the case in some places). Steve also gave feedback on what type of material works well in baths, kitchens, outdoors, etc as well as what are the real pros/cons with galss, porcelain, ceramic,marble, etc. They will also get any tile you see somewhere else. I did have them price out laying tile for me and they were much more expensive than my contractor's man. But, Steve explained that they are a union shop, which means that it will be more costly. But, you can also know you are getting trained professionals which will do the job correctly. But, this is each person's choice.

While we had a clogged drain in our shower one day, water began leaking through the ceiling in the living room below this upstairs shower. I needed someone to repair the shower so we wouldn't have the problem again and cause more damage to the ceiling. The plumbers unclogged the drain and recommended Dallia to repair the shower. In the meantime I had another repair company provide an estimate. To keep the story short, the man explained how he thought the water must be escaping from the shower and leaking into the drywall. He told me about all the repairs he could make including re-caulking all around the shower etc. etc. When I asked him what would happen if this didn't fix the problem, he told me there are no guarantees on what caused the problem and we'd start all over if that didn't solve it. This made me a little leery so I had Dallia come in. Mike told me his number one rule is you don't do anything until you know what the problem is. That was reassuring! He explained why the standing water might have caused a one-time leak and explained one plumbing option I could use to make sure, or he said doing nothing would probably be just fine. I appreciated his honesty in helping me avoid a bunch of unnecessary costs. If we ever need any similar service in the future, we will be sure to call Dallia!

Workers were prompt. Cleaned up after themselves. Job was done as presented and as quoted.

They usually do wood flooring but I had them do linen tile. They were a little bit more expensive than the other two quotes I had, but I thought they were a more established company. They were certainly not cheap; they were the more expensive quote I had. They were willing to do the floor alone some of the other people wanted to do other stuff. I was fixing up the basement and they wanted to clean other things on the quote and it was hard to get them not to do that. But Dallia just did what I wanted them to do and did an excellent job. It was quite a large area it was five to six hundred square feet and they had to resurface the concrete floor first. Two years later and it's still in excellent shape and I haven't had any problems at all. If I had to do a wood floor upstairs I will call them.

We did major renovations in 2003 and installed a new bathroom. A few years after the showerstall started to leak into the room below. We called various vendors and finally determined that the tile had not been installed correctly by the original contractor. Dallia redid the floor and the threshold to the showerstall. A few years later, there was another leak. We called Mike at Dallia because they had done such an excellent job the first time. He told us that the top of the bench seat in the shower stall was leaking. He had warned us that this might happen initially, but we all decided it would be better to wait and see rather than replacing at that time. Mike made good recommendations regarding materials and aesthetics. His workers are professional and thorough, arrived on time, took the exact amount of time to do the job that was estimated and the showerstall looks as good as new. I trust them and would happily recommend them and use them again.

I was very pleased. Their tiny store has an overwhelming amount of tile, but using my small cabinet and countertop swatches Mike was able to guide me to a wonderful tile family both for the basic ceramic and for the glass accent. He came out almost immediately to measure and deliver an estimate and his tile installer was scheduled within days of my decision. The installer did a terrific job and the kitchen and backsplash looks beautiful.

I would go to them again. We have done quite a bit of work with them. They do good work and are professional. Their pricing is fair.

The company takes pride in its workmanship and hires experienced personnel. Many of them have specialized in flooring installation for decades; hence, unlike some big box companies that merely hire out installation crews, Dallia has its own personnel complete the job, so from start to finish you are their client. Initially I had great difficulty getting adequate product in the pattern/s and product line sought. It took three trips to the store and multiple telephone interactions. Time was ticking and I feared my vacation (during which the project needed to be done) would evaporate before completion. Eventually things got resolved, but getting prompt information about what was/was not available seemed too frustrating and slow. This firm did an excellent installation and took pains to do all the preparation work with skill. The resultant installation was gorgeous. However, usually only one man was working on the job and the project took almost a week to complete after it began. I highly recommend this company, but speed is not their strength. Careful, high-quality workmanship is their strong suite.

I scheduled an appointment at my home in January 2010 with Michael Scatena of Dallia Floor & Wall. He arrived on time and carefully took measurements for a new floor in my kitchen & mudroom as well as replacing the tile floor in my entry and half-bath. Unfortunately, that was the last I heard from him. I never received an estimate nor any other call, email or letter.

Mike was very helpful in picking out the product. The two Dons were very professional in installing the tile and flooring. If I had it to do over again I would only have one bathroom worked on at a time!

They were very helpful and patient in helping us select the right products and their installation was done perfectly. And they followed our rather intricate tile design exactly. A couple of weeks after their installation was complete, we had a problem with the kitchen sink which flooded the kitchen floor, causing the plywood underlayment to swell. Even though it wasn't their fault, Dallia came back two days later, removed the old tile, sanded the underlayment smooth and replaced new tile. They arrived on time as requested by our general contractor and finished early. You may be able to find flooring cheaper, but you won't be able to beat their service.

They were responsive and finished the work quickly. The price was competitive.

They were helpful and helped us choose the right kind of tile and color for our kitchen. They were very upfront and efficient. They were self empowered and came on time. They were knowledgeable in terms of the installation and were very professional. I had an overall positive experience with them.

I was interested in installing Konecto flooring in my basement. There is 550 square feet. Konecto flooring is a floating floor that can be easily installed and can be cut by simply scoring the panels with a razor. Unfortunately, I have a bad back and can not do it myself. I had called Dallia and they were quick to come out and do an estimate; they were also on-time, which is rare for a contractor doing an estimate. I was up front and honest: I told them I could buy the material at $3.70/sq ft and do the install myself, so their quote had to be price competitive. Not only that, but I told them I would rip up the old carpeting and remove the furniture so all they have to do is install. The estimate came in amazingly above $4000 - I don't remember the exact price because I threw the estimate into the garbage. Please note: this in MY OWN analysis and not what they displayed on the quote ---> I calculated the materials, at $3.70/sq ft would cost $2000, that meant that labor cost $2000+. My estimate is that the job would run no more than 8 hours...that puts them at an hourly rate of $250/hr. I refuse to pay more than $35/hr for labor.

The store had a wide variety of marmoleum products, and the quote process went well. We felt the quote for the product and the installation was quite reasonable. We were going to schedule the work with this company, but in the end, we decided against marmoleum since it just didn't seem like the best product for that particular space. I would definitely use the company in the future, however.

They were excellent. This job required coordination with other contractors under a short time line. Their pricing was very competitive. I like the fact that you work directly with the owners and the quality of work was excellent.

They were very nice when they were in my home and the floor looks great and is holding up very well. I didn't price check but I thought what I paid for the work was reasonable.

Got really good advice from them. Extremely good service, very nice, helpful and honest. Will help you get it done right.

I have a vintage condo with the original subway tile on all the walls, except for the shower area, where the previous owner had replaced the tile. I needed to have the shower replaced, so I hired Dallia at the same time to replace the tile around the tub area with something that better matched the original wall tile. One concern I had was that the sizzle strips line up with the old subway tile on both sides of the room, since the previous replacement tile did not do this. Mike the estimator assured me they could do it, but on the first day of work, their guy said the walls weren t level and it couldn t be done. Fortunately, he wasn t available to do the tile work because the second guy who came was able to make it work. Despite a scheduling snafu that put me out my bathroom a day longer than necessary, I am happy with Dallia. They gave me a great solution for a challenging area, and the tile looks great!
