+ -1 moreDally was very professional and prompt with their work, although their showroom is small and it's hard to get someone to speak with on a busy weekend. They were responsive when I contacted them, even though I had stalled and waited one year after the original quote. While they were a little expensive, they met all my timetables and needs with no glitches. The quote included everything from start to finish with no extra surprise expenses added on (EAI., they had to cut down my kitchen doors to make them close as the new floor was higher). Their installer was friendly and professional and made sure that we could still use our kitchen each night during the week long job. I would recommend them.
Description of Work: Rip out crumbling old vinyl kitchen flooring and install new ceramic tile floor.

+ -1 moreTHE OWNERS WERE BUSINESSLIKE AND PLEASANT IN HELPING US SELECT THE FLOORING, AND GIVING US A PROMPT ESTIMATE. THE ESTIMATE MAY HAVE BEEN HIGH, BUT WE WERE IMPRESSED WITH THE TREATMENT WE RECEIVED, AND THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK. HOURS WERE FROM 8:30 TO 4:00 AND THE WORKERS WERE PUNCTUAL. THEY CLEANED UP EVERY EVENING. THE ENTIRE SETUP WAS ONE OF QUALITY. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO USE THEM AGAIN, AND WOULD GLADLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE INTERESTED IN THE INSTALLATION OF HARDWOOD FLOORING.
Description of Work: CARPETING WAS REMOVED FROM LIVING AND DINING ROOMS; SLATE REMOVED FROM ENTRY. CARPET AND SLATE DISPOSED OF FOR A SMALL FEE. SUB-FLOOR PREPARED, UNDERLAYMENT AND HARDWOOD FLOORING INSTALLED. THE FLOORING WAS PREFINISHED AND THEREFORE DUST WAS KEPT TO A MINIMUM. FURNITURE WAS MOVED SIDE TO SIDE AND COVERED. JOB TOOK FIVE DAYS. WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULT.

+ -1 moreTHE OWNER PROMISED TO FAX THE QUOTE TO US WITHIN DAYS. AFTER 2 WEEKS WE RECEIVED THE QUOTE IN THE MAIL WHICH WAS TWICE AS MUCH AS THE HIGHEST QUOTE WE GOT PREVIOUS TO THIS ONE. HE CAME OFF AS MAKING THE JOB APPEAR TO BE A MAJOR UNDERTAKING, WHILE OTHER INSTALLERS SAW IT MORE AS A ROUTINE INSTALLATION.
Description of Work: WE ASKED FOR A QUOTE FOR TILE INSTALLATION. WE DECIDED NOT TO USE THE COMPANY.
