I thought they were very nice. There was a spot on my wall where it looked like a chair banged against it and they sent someone out to fix this. There were a couple of stains that they unfortunately couldn't get out of the carpet though. These spots were pointed out to me and they explained they wouldn't come up after trying a few times. I think he did the best he could to get these stains out. They were pleasant to deal with, very professional, and right on time. I was very happy with them fixing the wall and they didn't really question it, just made sure to fix it. They used a portable unit when cleaning the carpet at my home.

They came in and did a good vacuuming of the carpet and sofa then began a light wet spraying before starting the main cleaning. The team was very fast and asked me to look over the work. It is not easy to completely judge cleaning of a carpet when it is still damp but they did go over an area that, to me, appeared to need more attention. The next morning, after the carpet was completely dry, I vacuumed again to raise the carpet nap. Overall, the carpet looks better and we will consider using this provider again.

Overall, it was a very good experience. He came on time and he worked quickly. He was thorough and was able to remove the stain on the carpet.

We purchased the Angie's List BIG Deal from them. This company was very easy to work with and was very good in their communication with us. The entire process was simple. The left the house in nice condition.

Dan did an excellent job cleaning a very dirty carpet and spent extra time on removing several old stains. I definitely recommend them and will use them in the future.

My experience was great. They had to get out some pretty stubborn stains and they did a wonderful job. I had no problems with scheduling and they arrived on time. They were able to get the job done in a reasonable time. The technician was very nice and professional as well. I had just got the floor stained and he did a great job of covering and protecting everything so nothing got wet.

I purchased the big deal for up to 4 areas or 1000 sq ft of carpet cleaned. They arrived on time and completed the work in the allotted time. I was very happy with the service and will definitely use this company in the future.

He showed up on time, listened to my requests, did the work in no time flat, and it was a great job. The carpets look smashing. Yes, I'd use him again.

I purchased two (2) Big Deals to cover the cleaning of a white sofa and four light beige upholstered club chairs. The result was excellent. Danny was the technician, and he was punctual, pleasant and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to use Chicago Carpet Care again.

Excellent results. Carpet was in a rental unit and had areas of heavy dirt but after cleaning looks almost like new. Prompt arrival and easy to schedule.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was okay. I had additional costs. It was pretty basic. They were fine.

I bought the $99 service to clean a sectional sofa. Technician arrived on time. Because the sectional is large, I asked if there would be an extra charge and he said no which was very nice. The cleaning took several hours, some of which was consumed by the machine breaking down. Understanding that things like this happens, I was fine with the extra time needed to get a different machine. That being said, the final outcome was not what I expected. Although a great deal of time was spent, the fabric was not clean. Because of the method used, no matter how much time he spent it would not have been cleaned thoroughly. The technician was very nice and eager to please, but I don't believe he was properly trained in understanding different fabrics require different cleaning. He also placed wet cushions on a wood coffee table which no one would do if properly trained. I've had this same upholstery cleaned by others and the difference is night and day. Once again, an Angie's List "deal" which was no deal. I'd rather pay more and get the job done right than continue buying discounted services from companies with little expertise in their fields.

Purchased the Angie's List Big Deal -- $99 to clean one sofa and stuffed chair. Informed Chicago Carpet Care via phone that the service would be at a different address than the default on the account. On the day of, they called to inform they were on their way...but then showed up at the original (default) address, instead of the one confirmed on the phone. However, they were able to quickly drive from Northbrook to Evanston to complete the job without complaint. The pieces were cleaned well -- not spotless, but much better than before.

In a pinch with out-of-town company arriving in a few days, I called Chicago Carpet Care based on their excellent reviews. Although a previous called revealed that their schedule was fully booked well beyond my guests' visit, a repeat phone call a few days later revealed a cancellation the day I called. David was very professional and without promising what he could not deliver, offered to confirm this last-minute availability and to call me back. Sure enough, after a few minutes, he called right back to say that he did, in fact, have a cancellation. Additionally, he had another appointment in my condo building which made things easy for everyone involved. I was out while the work was being done. However, I returned home to find slip-on shoe covers placed at the entrance to every carpeted area, to keep from tracking outside dirt onto the drying carpets. They had also placed small covers on the legs of large pieces of furniture to avoid staining with their cleaning agents. Seriously, what company would bother with such thoughtful details? THESE GUYS ROCK!

They could not clean one of the sofas as the stains weren't going out. So they cleaned the other sofa and returned a credit in cash for the other sofa. It was a fair treatment and I appreciated the solution.

Very easy to schedule. The man arrived on time, brought everything he needed and was very self sufficient. Did a great job cleaning the sofa/chair and area rug. Had a fan to start the drying process. Would definitely use again.

The company was very good about communicating with me concerning their time of arrival. They kept to the window of time that they had given me for the appointment. The rep was very pleasant and knowledgeable about his job and duties. The job was done professionally and much faster than I expected. I was provided with little plastic footies to wear until the carpet was completely dry too. I was very satisfied with the company's service and wouldn't hesitate to employ them again.
