Chi Renovation was a great company to work with. When I first decided to do a kitchen renovation, I got several different estimates. After looking at a bunch of different reviews I ended up going with Chi Renovation. I?m glad I did ? they were very reliable and professional. I didn?t know exactly what to expect from a contractor so I thought they would only help with the kitchen remodeling part, but I really needed help with the design part too. They were very helpful and had a lot of great ideas about what I could do. They were organized and started by showing me different samples. With their assistance I chose great dark cabinets and also chose to use the same granite for the countertops and backsplash, which gives the kitchen a very sleek look. They are wonderfully skilled contractors and they really did a beautiful, clean job. Just as importantly, they were very honest and I really felt like I could trust them. If I ever do another renovation I will definitely go with them.

When I contacted Chi Renovation and Design on their website, they replied immediately and were at my house within 24 hours to assess the damage and provide an estimate. I continued to be impressed with their responsiveness and sense or urgency throughout the project. They took the time to clearly communicate the approach that they would take, showed me pictures of similar projects that they had performed, and helped me pick out the best flooring to install. After signing a contract, they started the very next day. I was very impressed with their crew- friendly, highly skilled, meticulous, and efficient. The project was completed much faster than I expected, and I am very happy with the results. I highly recommend Chi Renovation & Design and wouldn't hesitate to use them again should another project arise.

CHI Renovation & Design did an outstanding job. *They provided great customer service and communicated daily. It wasn't unusual for the project manager to stop by after business hours to walk through what work had been done, and what I could expect the next day. *They provided accurate estimates and clear tasks for their team to execute. The contractor was on time, courteous and did a great job on every detail. *They kept our unit clean and did a great job containing the job (and dust, debris) to one room. *Before performing any unexpected work that wasn't discussed before the day began, I would get text messages or a phone call explaining what had to be done. There were no surprises. I definitely would recommend CHI Renovation & Design.

The start of the process was good with the company responding to an email and setting an appointment within two days. Confirmation of the appointment was pleasantly unexpected. However, the actual appointment was in impressive and the follow-up with an actual estimate was non-existant. Not only was Lior, the project manager very uninterested in the job. He barely took any measurements and his drawing was a box with no description of what I wanted. He seemed very put off by the fact that. I wanted each phase itemized since I know some people who do parts of the remodel. About the only thing he wanted or cared about was putting dormers on the garage. When I was told I would get an estimate in a week I figured that was ample time for them. Now four weeks after the estimator was at my house, I still have no estimate, and not even a phone call. Well, my money will not be going to a company that does not have the decency to even give a client an estimate.

Orel visited our home to talk to us about the renovation. We work long hours, and many of the kitchen showroom places have very limited hours, so we were grateful that Orel was willing to make a home visit. We told him about the project, and that we were unsure about whether or not we needed cabinet refacing. He gave us his honest opinion--that our cabinets were in good shape and didn't need to be refaced. We appreciated that he didn't try to sell us something we didn't need. He brought out plenty of granite samples, which was nice because we were able to hold them up to our cabinets and see what looked good. We decided on a color and other details, placed our order, and we had our countertops within 10 days! We were very pleased with the work Chi Renovation did. They were professional and communicated very well with us throughout the process. The installation team worked quickly and did a great job. We were also very pleased with the value. We had a few other quotes that were $1,000 higher or more. I highly recommend Chi Renovation for any home renovation project. They are very affordable, reliable, and professional!

They were fine but too expensive. The process of the quote was good. I don’t have no problems with the quote. He was nice.

Respectful, diligent, patient, honest, talented, passionate and punctual are just a few ways to describe Chi-renovation. I just purchased my first 2 flat in Chicago and was very nervous about all the decisions that went along with my new purchase, especially because it needed a LOT of work (2 completely new kitchens, new bathroom fixtures, new front and back doors and framing, flooring, roof work, porch work, paint, etc.), all on my small budget. Chi-Reno quickly caught my attention by their quick response, non-pushiness and willingness to spend the time I needed with them to feel comfortable to make my decision (I also sought out several other Contractor bids and the attitudes and bids themselves did not even come close in comparison to Chi-Reno). Let me also add that I had a 203K loan and Chi-Reno was so patient with the bank, the paperwork, me, HUD and having to do all the work up front before receiving payments. A 203K loan requires a HUD consultant to approve all work; my HUD consultant constantly let me know that Chi-Reno was doing beyond required and great work for me! Chi- reno worked on my home as if it was theirs. They were very conscious of the fact that timing was very important to me because the longer it was under construction, the longer I was paying a mortgage without income from a tenant and being able to occupy it myself. From beginning to end Lior and Orel will provide you with the kind of comfort that feels like family are taking care of the renovation to your home. I am very happy in my new home and so is my tenant!

Chi Renovation recently came in to replace my kitchen countertops with granite countertops. I felt that their prices were very reasonable. They helped me pick out a countertop that I feel matches the decor of my kitchen perfectly! Their guys were very clean and professional. They did a fantastic job. This is my second time around using these guys. The first time was to insulate my house. I was very pleased with their work and professionalism then and decided to try them again for the countertops. I am glad I did. I will definitely be calling them again for any future updates to my house.

Background I live in a 1-bedroom, Gold Coast condo that?s about 700 SqFt. I hadn?t updated it in 10 years and was really ready for change. I decided to refinish the wood floors, paint all the walls, and completely remodel the bathroom. I consulted with and received bids from 3 companies before choosing Chi-Renovation. I?m very meticulous and, consequently, I am NOT an easy customer. So, when a job is done with superior quality, I want to acknowledge it and give full credit. Superior Advice & Direction Since I wasn?t sure exactly what I wanted to do to the bathroom or the colors I would choose for the walls, I was open to suggestions. The Chi-Renovation Project Manager showed me pictures and asked questions to be better understand my tastes, how I would use the space, and my vision. He then gave me great recommendations regarding color and design elements and did most of the shopping for me. For example: He brought tile, accent options, and wood finishes to my home based on my preferences. He sent photographs of options for the fixtures, toilet, tub, etc. This was incredibly helpful because I don?t have a car nor the time to do that kind of running around. I was pleased and impressed with the advice and direction that he gave me. He also met with the chief engineer for my building at the beginning of the project to manage all of the technical stuff. He made the process VERY easy for me. Exceptional Crew I was also impressed with the caliber of their expert craftsmen. The custom vanity and cabinets that they made are absolutely beautiful and fit perfectly despite the awkward constraints of the space. The tilework is like art -- beautiful and flawless. And, the refinished hardwood floors look like new. Perfect! And, they completed everything in just 4 weeks! Why Chi Renovation & Design? TRUST... Before witnessing any of their work in my own space, I chose them because after seeing examples of their work and speaking to them, I trusted that they would do what they said they would do when they said they would do it and that they would do it with integrity (in terms of their professional conduct and the materials they used): On Budget - On Time - Highest Quality. I appreciated having the Project Manager (who also provided wonderful design direction) as a central point of contact for all elements of the project and their entire crew proved worthy of my trust... so much so that I felt comfortable taking a mini out-of-state vacation for the last week of the project while they painted the walls and refinished the floors. The Cost I was quoted $12,600 for the work (and that included basic building materials). I paid an additional $4,700 for my custom vanity and cabinets, tempered glass sink, brushed nickel fixtures (for the sink, tub, and shower), and tile. The price was reasonable given my vision for the space, the types design elements that I chose, and the quality of the work.

The workers were able to replace the sink, the tiles, the flooring, and the cabinets. They even were able to help us find new appliances. The whole kitchen is brand new and I love it. They did a great job and as time goes on while my husband and I are working on the rest of the house we will definitely come to CHI Renovation again.

They did the work for a week. They were very responsive. They did the job very fast clean. They were nice and helpful. My wife is happy so i'm happy as long as she's happy.

The project manager came to discuss the project and took basic measurements. He then went back and drew up some potential designs. We selected a design with some modifications. They then proceeded to build the unit and brought it over while it was still in rough form for fitting, so we were able to see the project in progress. They then completed the the unit, staining it to match the woodwork in the room, in less than a month, installing it at our convenience with little disruption. The unit came out perfect and changed the entire look of the room, transforming an ugly shelf into a beautiful addition to our family room. The owners were very friendly and accommodating, doing whatever we asked, always professional and responsive.

Chi Renovations and Design gave us a number of options at different price points to help us plan out what we wanted to do with our basement after we had some mold and water damage. We needed a new floor, drywall, and we wanted some additional improvements to make the most efficient use of the space. They installed resilient flooring (a good option for basements), ceramic flooring in the bathroom, framed up a new wall for a small laundry room we didn?t have before, reframed a large storage closet, hung the drywall, installed base board molding, reframed doorways and new doors, made a beautiful oak railing for the stairs, moved the plumbing for the washer dryer. The basement looks nicer than the rest of the house. They were very patient, flexible and honest. They took the time to discuss kitchen options with us so when the time comes ?the job is theirs! The best part is their responsiveness, and flexibility.

Our experience with Chi Renovation & Design was fine. They were responsive, professional, and we had no complaints. They were knowledgeable and I was comfortable with them in my home.
