The experience was great. He was very good. I call him, he comes and he does what he was supposed to do. He was fine. He was reliable and he does good work. I just see Andy’s truck every so often. It’s been an ongoing basis for a number of years.

Overall, it was very easy working with this company.

I have used them before and they are still wonderful. They come and do the job, read the bill and one does not have to do anything like call them back.

Went well. Phone call. Done a few days later weather permitting.

The price was reasonable. I thought they were excellent. They finished the work in a reasonable timeframe. They were friendly and the work was good.

Andy was very easy to contact via phone and email. He was quick to respond to emails, gave a quote same day based on receiving an email photo of my house. He showed up when promised and cleaned gutters quickly. He found that one of my gutters had several brackets missing and some brackets had nails missing. He got ladder out for me so I could climb up and see myself. The gutter cleaning was $80 and for $35 extra he replaced the missing brackets and nails. It was worth it to have him and his crew doing to work, especially on a rainy winter day. Very easy to work with, I would use his service again.

I am satisfied with the work they do.

Called in early December to see if they were still cleaning gutters. They sent a team out within a day and did a great job. I will definitely use them again!

Service arrangement was easy and the price quoted was fair. I had to leave the house before they arrived, and when I returned the team of three was finishing the job. It was a tough job, but they were pleasant and cheerful when I met them. It was a very easy transaction. I'll certainly use them again next year.

This was not a positive experience. In late spring he quoted me $80.00 to clean my gutters, but when I received the bill, they charged me $100.00. When I called to question this, he said that the house was too big, and that's why it cost me more, even though it was the exact same house, with no additions, that he quoted me earlier in the year. They threw all the debris from the gutters on the ground throughout my yard, but they only cleaned up the front and side of my house, but not in the backyard where they threw the debris. On the invoice, they stated that I wasn't home to discuss the price, even though both cars were in the driveway when they where here. This is not an honest guy, and I would not recommend doing business with him. I will not use him ever again.

Highest reccommendation ever. Workers pull up and rush out to complete the job. Couldn't ask for better service.

We had to call Andy since a previous contractor was not able to complete the work. Andy came out within a few days of the call to perform the estimate. I was around and met him to discuss our needs. He provided 2 estimates, one to just repair the dislodged downspout ($350) and another to replace the whole downspout ($550). Initially we were just going to repair it but then upon further inspection our 7 year old downspout had seen better days so we opted to just replace it. It took a few days since he had to match the color and style but after that he completed the work on time. So far so good! Andy was easy to work with and was very professional. I would use him again.

They were able to respond to my request quickly and took care of the work within a couple of days. Absolutely no complaints. Will call them again this year.

These guys are great- they scurry out out of their truck like worker bees and get the work done efficiently . Te prices are fair and they are prompt to respond- Highly reccommended.

Not as hoped, see above. This was my first Angie's list experience; a major disappointment.

A few weeks ago a thief or thieves decided that they needed my copper downspouts more than I did. They ripped off the lower sections of 2 downspouts (about 20 feet). Apparently they didn't bring a ladder so the upper sections were left behind. I called Andy (I had used his service before) and provided the information that I wanted the remaining copper to be removed (so I could do my own recycling!) and new downspouts installed. Two days later I received a written proposal in the mail. I called to accept the contract and emailed my signed acceptance. Andy called me to confirm that the work would be done within the next couple of weeks and we would call me to advise of a specific date. Within the week he called and said they would be there on that day. They arrived in the afternoon...they had to saw the remaining portions from the decorative boxes at the roof line and then installed the new downspouts. They flattened and cut the copper into 5 foot lengths so I could get it in my van to take to the recycling facility. All in all it was a great experience just as my previous 2 experiences were with Andy. I highly recommend him and will call him again in the future.

After the latest downpour, the amount of water spilling over the upper level gutters was astounding. I called Andy's Custom Gutters for a quote, and within a week the work was performed. I can't believe I thought about cleaning these hard-to-reach suckers myself after seeing the great price that it took to get a pro to do the job. The receptionist Eileen was very capable and informative, giving Andy's a professional vibe. I will be using their services again.

He apparently came out to my property without letting me know. He sent me a proposal. I signed it and received a start date. He never started the job. He has a very unhelpful person who answers the phone and continuously told me she did not know what the problem was nor did she know when he would start. Save yourself time. Do not use this company. I wound up using Lindholm Roofing and they were great.

I called and left a message and Andy himself returned the call. He said that he would give me a call when he is in the neighbourhood to investigate the problem and check it out. A few Days later when he was nearby he called and came over to the house, checked the problem, and did the minor repairs. I will use him in the future.

He was very good. He also has reasonable prices.

I couldn't be happier! I contacted Andy via the Angie's List website, heard back from him via email, and he had his guys come over to clean the gutters on a new home we just bought. The house is still vacant, but I didn't need to be there. They came out on a warm day when the ice had thawed, cleaned every last leaf from the gutters, and billed me a very reasonable amount. Looks spotless after the job: perfectly clean gutters and no sign of any leaves or debris left behind on the ground. Great work and very convenient.

I delayed in making the decision to rerout downspouts since they were in code going into the storm drain. By the time I elected to go ahead, Andy had his hands full cleaning gutters.. Nice guy, straightforward quote. Some delay in starting the job and I called to find out the schedule. Subsequently,several weeks later, two of Andy's men showed up unannounced. No problem. They knew what to do and did it quickly. Would use again.

Andy came out for an estimate (in his new Hummer). Proclaimed that they were real pros and excellent...and told me to read all the reviews on Angies List, as they are members. Proceeds to review with me all necessary repairs for gutters and cleaning. The job entails some caulking and fascia work as well as gutter cleaning, seems a little beyond their scope. He gets me a proposal and tells me it's his busy time and he can't get to this project til at least the first week of December, I say OK. I signed the contract on Nov 4, 2011. Now, I call mid November to check in....Eileen in the office is very nice, and says "i'll check with Andy and get back to you". Never calls back. I call again a week later, she answers and says the same thing and never calls back. I call a third time and she says "Andy is out for supplies, he should be back shortly, i'll call you back". Guess what, never calls. Now we are into late December, I call and she says, "hold on" apparently talks with Andy, and gets back with me "we will schedule you for next week, Dan our superintendent will call you". You guessed right again...no call from Dan. OK, we are on our last attempt. I called Eileen again, to inquire how to pay for their services because I was leaving town when presumably they were going to do the work. Do you want CC? Do you want a check, I ask? How to pay?....Eileen again, "I will talk to Andy and get back to you". Can you believe this, she never called back. I know, they blew this job off, probably way over their capacity. Since then I hired AJ Gutters in Park Ridge and they came, quoted, came back and did the work and got paid on the spot. Very unprofessional to not even return a phone call(s) and who knows how their workmanship is, they never showed up. Tom Tometz

Once we were able to settle on a date, they came out and did an excellent job. Clean up was excellent as well.
