+ -1 moreFirst we called Bauer Roofing for a roofing estimate. When giving the estimate, they let us know our chimney chase had rotted wood. We decided not to do the roof right now; however we called them back to repair the chimney chase. They allowed us to paint the wood before they installed it so we didn't have to pay a painter too. Then they took additional paint to the chimney chase to paint the cut edges. Also, we had been told previously (before Bauer) that the flashing around the chimney chase was not right. We thought the problem had been fixed because we had another company repair that flashing. Evidently the previous company did not do the work correctly because Bauer Roofing personnel noted problems with the flashing. Bauer Roofing corrected the flashing. Their work was very good and we would recommend this company to others.
Description of Work: removed rotted wood from our chimney chase, cut and installed new wood and painted the cut edges where appropriate. They also corrected the flashing that has been wrong since the house was built.
